The Watcher of the Dimensions

Chapter 729: Chapter 48 Book of Vishanti

Two Strange met Arthur on their way as he looked at their attires which had dust and dirt marks on them, indicating they had some trouble. Especially when one Strange had a bruise marl on his face, showing some injury which he got from brawling with Mordo.

" Don't look at me like that."

Other Strange was annoyed by their gazes, showing rare moments of his embarrassment despite being Sorcerer Supreme.

" We will talk about that later. I assume that Wanda has already infiltrated the place and heading towards us."

Arthur looked at the vault door, ripping it open with his bare hands. The runes of his hands flashed crimson as he looked at the item in the flask.

" That is the book. Stephen said if anyone had to get it, he placed some seals on it to open it."

Our Strange didn't hesitate to summon the book in his hand while examining it with a frown on his face, feeling both arcane and dark arts in its seal.

His fingers turned black for a moment before he destroyed the seal within a second as the rumbling came right next to them.

Boom*

Wanda jumped down from the upper floor, looking at the heroes with annoyance because she believed this would be troublesome.

" You are too late, Wanda. Book of Vishanti can destroy Darkhold's power."

Other Strange tried to dissuade her from attacking them but she wasn't buying it. Perhaps that was for the most of the mages but she was different. She was more powerful and special.

" Girls get behind me."

Arthur signaled them to stay behind his back as the three greatest sorcerers faced an evil witch who could destroy the world.

Their magic had different unique properties, each of them was enough to destroy this place but Wanda was dismantling them with her chaos power.

" I have studied your magic, unknown sorcerer. It was eye-opening invention with multiple power sources but you forgot one thing. Reality is always more powerful than any magic."

Arthur didn't deny her words, thinking she had solved his arcane power. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to fight like this. Especially when he was integrating multiple types of magic into his power to stop her.

" We can't hold on any longer. This reality will crumble if we continue to fight her. We must find a way to return to our world."

Our Strange knew the risk of fighting here and he wasn't willing to destroy one reality to stop her. Their magics were too great for this reality to bear the burden of it, making it noticeable to other entities and destroying the laws of it.

" Then we have to push her out from here. We have to find this world's Wanda."

Arthur didn't hesitate to open a portal to Wanda's house as they landed in the living room of her house. The furniture around them turned into ashes from the impact while Arthur protected the girls and residents of the house.

" Mother!"

Two young boys darted out from the staircase, looking at the demonic woman with horror. Their innocent eyes were filled with disgust and fear toward this version of her as Wanda trembled when she heard their voices.

" No, this isn't it. I can explain!"

She stopped using her power, forcing a smile on her face to appease the children before their real mother sprung out from the main door to shield them behind her back.

Her fingers ignited with crimson light, showing she was also a force to be reckoned with.

" Who the hell are you? Children get behind me."

Wanda didn't hesitate to push this world's Wanda to the wall which caused the young children to have a nervous breakdown.

" Stop it!"

Other Wanda squeezed out two words from behind while the children attempted to stop her before she freed her. She looked at the glass shard in the hall, feeling lonely for the first time as Arthur banished her from this reality.

" Are you alright?"

Arthur gave her a hand, healing her with his power to express his purpose. Honestly, he felt a little guilty when he pushed her but there was nothing he could do here except using her mental state.

" I am fine and thank you."

Wanda rose up from the ground to hug her children.
