Tomorrow is the day when the academy will examine our theoretical knowledge. Though I am sure that I could ace the exam, the only problem was that I could overshoot.

I mean, I have knowledge that no one has here.

I learned a lot of things from the Nexus library, which is not available in the Academy's library. Also, there are many differences in the knowledge of things that the academy is aware of.

For suppose, if the solution to a certain problem is 'A', mentioned in the academy, the solution for that is mentioned as 'B' in the Nexus.

Sometimes, the academy is right but sometimes the Nexus is right.

The knowledge of Nexus is far better than what the academy provides but there is a problem. Most of it is outdated and does not always hold still.

The knowledge inside the Nexus is tens of thousands of years old. It is from a world from a long time ago, not about the world of today. The world has changed and with that the knowledge about the world too.

Even when considering my old world Earth, there are many changes that happened there when one learns about its history. Many species appeared and disappeared, never to be known by others.

Landmasses changed. In the beginning, there was a supercontinent, then it started to break up. Even in the modern world, the tectonic plates are still moving.

It is the same with Ragos. The world is ever-changing.

The knowledge in the Nexus was not updated since I don't know how long. My predecessor was here for tens of thousands of years. It may have been true back then but not now.

Of course, there are many things that don't change no matter what. In these matters, the knowledge of the Nexus is far better than the academy.

Now you can see the dilemma.

If by chance I answer the questions based on what I know from the Nexus, then the answer would be deemed wrong, even if that is the correct answer. So I need to pay more attention to not slip up and write the correct answers.

No, I have to write the answers that the academy thinks are correct, not the actual correct answers.

If I write the actual correct answers, then everything I did till now to keep my secrets hidden would be for nothing. One by one everything would spill out.

There is no way that I am going to spill these secrets out, not at this time, right before I can graduate and leave the confines of the society that watches me like a hawk, making me unable to freely spread my wings.

I am sure the higher-ups of the kingdom are well aware of all the students in the academy. So any mistake from my side at this point would cause a lot of damage to my family. With only a single Tier-7, there is no way that my family can incur whatever is in store if my secrets are leaked out.

I mean at one point, I believed that Tier-7 is the highest in this kingdom as many spoke about how high Tier-7 is. Maybe there are higher Tier people in empires, not in small kingdoms like this but I was wrong.

If Tier-7 is the highest rank in this kingdom, then why is my father's title still a Viscount? Sure it is my mother who is Tier-7 but by marriage, their ranks should have increased by didn't.

Sure, Mother knows some secrets of the kingdom with her increased Tier but there were no visual improvements to the family by this. It means there are multiple Tier-7s in the kingdom. It's just that they are shy.

Joking aside, I believe almost all of them are trying to reach a higher rank tier or improving their skill levels, which would make it possible for them to make a mark on the map. It is not an easy feat to achieve and would take a lot of time.

So they would rather be increased in that aspect instead of showing off themselves. To have reached tier-7, they should be at least a century old or even more. So unlike in youth, where they would flash their superiority, now they should be concentrated much on their development.

They are not youngsters who act without using their brains for a second. Now they have reached a rank that is mostly impossible for 90% of the awakened, they wouldn't be wasting time showing off themselves in front of the plebes. They would have known much by now and should be focused on important things.

Many of those old-timers should definitely have reached Tier-8. It wouldn't be a surprise if there were more than one or two Tier-9 in the kingdom. If there are not, then the Royal family would still not be a royal family.

Not giving the Count status to my family after all this time means, there is definitely a Tier-8 in a Count's family or multiple Tier-7s. The most possible of the two was the second. There should be more than a single Tier-7 in a Count's family.

If there were Tier-8 in a Count's house, then what about Marquis or Duke's houses?

What about the Royal House?

The Royal House should have someone about Tier-9 if I count like that, which brings shivers in my body. If that is the power of a mere kingdom, then what about larger kingdoms and empires?

What ranks should they have?

Do they have the ranks like the ones in ancient times?

Ahhhh, it's giving me a headache. It's best not to think about that as I may have to wait a long time before I get answers to those questions.

Anyway, tomorrow is the exam. So I need to rest my mind well for the night. Stressing too much wouldn't help no one and I may even write something I shouldn't and complicate everything.

So, it's time for me to hug my pillow and travel to the dreamland.
