The Shade Of Bad Blood

Chapter 2: Getting annoying

The phone screen lights up brightly in the middle of the night. The sound of typing on the phone was fast and furious. Shortly after, there was the sound of joyful laughter.

Alvero had just opened the door to his room to go to the kitchen. His throat was dry, having stayed in his room he even forgot to fill the water pot. As soon as he reached the stairs, a figure he didn't want to see was having fun in the kitchen.

Certainly not wanting to meet or even greet each other, Alvero only observed from afar. He headed back in the direction of his room, concealing himself behind the tall columns that circled around the second floor in a circular fashion. From the upper floor, all areas of the house could be clearly seen.

"Good, very good. I'm sure this will work!" he cheered, taking a glass of milk with a scornful look. Don't good kids drink milk like little kids? Alvero knew that Allby never liked the pale drink that his mother always offered him.

When Allby's figure had entered his room. Only then did he go downstairs with the teapot he was still holding. Except for eating and dressing, he did everything himself despite having many maids.

His hunch told him something bad. After all, Allby's pleasure was never good for her. However, Alvero never responded much. He did not want to think about unnecessary things affecting his mood for such a person.

. . .

"This is boring. The food in the cafeteria is too healthy for me to eat junk food please! Should we order delivery from outside? Great idea, Al!" Davon shook Alvero's shoulder, feeling pleased with his idea which certainly got a look as if mocking his ridiculousness.

Damn, it doesn't stop there that he keeps aiming at his friend. As long as Davon agrees, this smart kid won't have teachers protesting because he can't buy food from outside. He had a strong supporter!

"It's too long. There's not enough time for recess," Alvero said very lazily with his friend who was whining more and more if left alone.

"Ah, it's okay for you to skip class once in a while! The important thing is that we eat well!" persuaded Davon still swinging in Alvero's hand shamelessly. Even though his body is big and athletic. However, his attitude is really childish!

As they walked towards the cafeteria, the closer they got, the more sulked Davon became. "Eat here or you'll starve!" broke up Alvero slamming Davon's arm firmly leaving him without looking back.

At this rate Alvero would be very annoyed. Damn it was too hard to recruit him to be part of the minions. What's with that attitude, are school rules ingrained in his bones? Come on, school isn't just for studying! Davon grumbled inwardly.

Even so he still took the tray and picked out the side dishes that were at least appetizing. Of course the food from their top-tier school was undoubtedly flavorful, as was the price. The cafeteria on the third floor was mostly dominated by those from big families. It's just that even though the menu changes every day it's very different from eating burgers, pizza, fries oh all that junk food! Which does not contain balanced nutrition at all.

Their school is very attentive to the needs of the students, right down to the food that is the result of the nutritionist's consideration. Looking at Davon who seemed to have lost half his life, he secretly sighed tiredly.

"I'll treat you to whatever you want to eat after school!" Alvero's chirp was immediately greeted with both orbs shining brightly, dazzlingly.

"You promised! No matter what your extracurricular meeting or tutoring course is, accompany me to eat!" Davon exclaimed, giving Alvero an index finger. He was serious, this time if his friend broke his promise due to his busy schedule, he would not be persuaded in any way.

Look at this big baby. Really, whether he's getting older or not his childish nature hasn't changed at all. Alvero, who could only shake his head, replied, "Yes-yes. There is no important discussion that I need to participate in. I promise you, and hurry up and finish the food! The bell is about to ring."

Although reluctant with the mixed food, seeing that his best friend was serious Davon finished his food slowly. They returned to class, even though he was not in the mood for lessons. Alvero pulled him into the classroom, not allowing him to date outside.

While one of his hands was pulled roughly, the other was taking turns typing the message from earlier. Secretly smiling happily, ah tonight with which woman should he choose? Flipping through his phone contacts Davon looked happy his day was going well.

"What? Please don't look at me like that, Sir. I'm enjoying my youth!" he complained looking like a sex criminal, surely Alvero knew who he was messaging.

"Your youth is truly hopeless," Alvero's taunt instantly infuriated Davon.

"Hey!"

Their conversation, which was more like an argument, stopped as soon as they reached the classroom. How could it not be a love letter with a pink cover instead of a blue one? Alvero and Davon glanced at each other, having the same thought even though he still denied it.

Even though it was only this week that no one dared to send her any more letters. Because he was really angry he burned all these damn love letters in the class trash can. With a look on his face as if he was about to kill someone, no one in the class dared to move.

Soon the rumors of Alvero's rampage reached the whole school. No one dared to give him another love letter, even though some were still ignorant at first. It took no more than a day for the person to disappear from school.

Only Davon Muydan, his childhood friend, knew exactly what Alvero did when he lost his temper. How could they possibly compare to the Gusfan family's hidden power holders?

Davon suddenly sat down in front of his seat. Picking up the letter, he turned his body to face the recipient. "Oh, waw! It's not just women who like you now, even men too. Haha, the gays are out now!" Davon chuckled, but behind his laughter was still a silent mockery.

Isn't it too bold to send a blatant letter? Let alone opening up about one's own sexuality. Unfortunately the bullying here is still strong, if you don't have enough power to be whatever you want, being different from others is just disastrous. Creating your own hell.

Really, he thought it was just the color of the letter, but her guess was not wrong. Now a boy has the nerve, huh? Did he think he had mercy for boys? Girl alone he never gave mercy to. Alvero wanted to see who would come out to confess to him this time.

"Your smile is terrible you know. Be careful, isn't it getting extreme now?" Davon warned, even though he knew himself how strong Alvero was. Yes, as friends worrying is natural.

Alvero knew Davon cared, but he didn't want to think further about something like this. "What a waste of time."

It seemed that his indifference did not deter the sender of the letter at all. The next day the letter with the blue cover remained on his desk until Alvero was fed up.

Without looking at the contents again, which Davon actually always reads. Alvero crumpled it up and threw it in the trash.

It was ridiculous, would trying make a straight boy crooked? More and more Davon mocked him as gay, because of that damn letter. For sure he knew he had no same-sex attraction.

It was just that whichever girls came along, no one attracted him. No matter how beautiful, smart, or good. He didn't want to trust people who would change quickly, when they just wanted something.

"Aren't you going to meet that person? Let's see who he really is, sending you letters every day. But no name at all. Mysterious huh," Davon said with a tone of contempt at the end.

Usually, after sending a letter that doesn't get a response, those who dare will go to Alvero themselves. This time, for days they insisted on sending the same letter, but did not show themselves at all.

Even though they had hacked into the school's CCTV, it was difficult to see him directly. It seemed like he came when there was someone else or left it to the students in this class. Although there was no one to confess.

He thought of something. "Like I said a few days ago, Al. Be careful!"

This time he didn't reply with his lazy gaze, but Alvero's brows furrowed as if he was thinking about something too. They knew the consequences of disturbing him, but still continued to force themselves. It was rare and ... maybe there was something.

The corridor might be quiet, but the students on the field were busy exercising or just watching on the sidelines. As soon as they walked in the same direction there was someone he didn't want to see.

As soon as the shoulders that were forced to touch, Alvero dismissed it immediately stepped aside to give a distance that made it impossible to collide. Davon looked at the incident with fury ....

"Oops, too bad you didn't fall, huh? Do you want to get hit? Or do you want me to help you push? At least it's a natural fall, not an artificial one!" Davon taunted as Allby fell silent during his unsuccessful attempt to pretend to fall as if he was hit by Alvero.

What a bitch! His eyes were glazed over with a red face as if embarrassed, while at the same time looking innocent. Hah, sickening. How could Alvero stand living all these years with this cheap bitch?

"I... I-I didn't mean to. Just wanted to pass by," he squeaked while the center of attention of the people in the field had already turned to them.

What an attention seeker, after all, everyone knew that the two Gusfan brothers did not get along. Although many false rumors were spread, fortunately the charm of an Alvero could not be refuted with only vague news.

"Then pass by, why are you still standing there?" Alvero said, making Allby's shoulders jerk. Staring at him with those eyes.

The difference between them was too obvious, Alvero's furrowed eyebrows added to the gloomy impression of his cold face while Allby with teary eyes seemed to be bullied. Even though nothing happened between them, at least he didn't start anything.

"Allby, never mind your brother never cared about you! Don't talk to that cold person." One of his brother's friends came over, dragging him away. It's even better that way, Alvero doesn't care about what people say.
