The Peerless Emperor (TPE)

Chapter 194: Chapter 194: The Future of Linhai Prefecture

Zhang Dingyun stood in the grand hall, his chest heaving, eyes burning with fury.

"Where did this Huaxia Empire come from? How did that Lin Qian become the Emperor of such an empire?" Zhang Dingyun clenched his fists tightly, unable to comprehend the situation.

Moreover, they had no detailed information about the true strength of this Huaxia Empire.

All they knew was that the former territories of the Jin Hai Sect, Wanxiang Sect, and the Beast Taming Sect had been conquered by this mysterious force, a fact they only learned through scouting reports from neighboring regions.

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the hall, and in the blink of an eye, an elderly man appeared within the chamber.

The old man seemed ordinary, dressed in simple linen clothes, but his sharp eyes radiated a powerful, intimidating aura that made it difficult for anyone to meet his gaze.

"Leave us!" The elder's voice was calm but commanding, leaving no room for argument.

"Yes, Patriarch!" The female disciples who had been attending Zhang Dingyun quickly bowed and fled the hall, relief flickering in their eyes as they escaped the stormy presence of their enraged master.

After the disciples left, the elder turned to Zhang Dingyun. "Young Zhang, what has angered you so much?"

"Patriarch!" Zhang Dingyun quickly bowed deeply to the elder, his eyes filled with respect and reverence.

This elder was none other than Yuan Wuji, the patriarch who had elevated the Sheng Tian Sect to become the dominant force in Linhai Prefecture!

When Zhang Dingyun first entered the Sheng Tian Sect, Yuan Wuji had already been his idol and mentor, a figure of immense power and wisdom.

It was under Yuan Wuji's tutelage that Zhang Dingyun had risen through the ranks, becoming one of his most favored disciples.

Zhang Dingyun then carefully recounted the situation to Yuan Wuji, explaining everything that had transpired.

After hearing his disciple's report, Yuan Wuji's white eyebrows knitted together in thought. The situation was more complicated than he had anticipated.

"Lin Qian, the Huaxia Empire?" Yuan Wuji murmured, recognizing the name. He had heard of Lin Qian, primarily due to his connection with his master, Wei Wushuang.

Wei Wushuang was a prodigious talent from the Wanxiang Sect, who had returned from beyond Linhai Prefecture, and someone Yuan Wuji had always regarded with caution.

Yuan Wuji had believed that Wei Wushuang had died from his poisoning, and with the help of the Darkblood Clan's Lu Shangda, Yuan Wuji had felt secure in emerging from seclusion. But to his surprise, Wei Wushuang had faked his death and fully recovered.

Even with Lu Shangda's support, Yuan Wuji remained wary of Wei Wushuang, knowing that after emerging from the small world, Wei Wushuang would undergo a drastic transformation.

However, Yuan Wuji wasn't concerned about any potential betrayal, as they had a pact sealed by the Dao of Heaven itself.

As for this so-called Huaxia Empire, Yuan Wuji had never heard of it before, and his eyes were filled with doubt.

"For now, let's not act hastily. We lack sufficient information about this new force."

"The territory of the Jin Hai Sect, ravaged by the Bone Blade Fish Clan, holds little value. The Beast Taming Sect has already been thoroughly looted, leaving little but some soul beasts behind."

"As for the Wanxiang Sect's lands, the Wanxiang Mountain Range was devastated by Lu Shangda, rendering it worthless."

"The real value lies in the assets we've secured: the Armament Forging Sect, the Rejuvenation Sect, and the battle-ready Blade Dominance Sect. Not to mention the Sword Saint Sect, whose territory is far more valuable than the other three combined."

"So, our losses are actually minimal," Yuan Wuji concluded, analyzing the situation.

Zhang Dingyun nodded, calming down after hearing his patriarch's analysis. "What should we do next? Should we send scouts to gather information about their strength?"

"That is a wise move. Buy us time and await Lu Shangda's return. With his corpse-controlling techniques and the puppet army we've acquired, ultimate victory will be ours, no matter where this Huaxia Empire came from," Yuan Wuji said confidently.

Zhang Dingyun felt reassured, though a lingering sense of unease still gnawed at him.

Three days later, the former Wanxiang Sect's mountain range began to bustle with activity, with workers tirelessly laboring to restore the devastated landscape, similar to what had been done in the Origin State.

"From now on, this Wanxiang Mountain Range will be renamed the Origin Gate. You from the Origin State will oversee its management," Lin Qian said, pointing to the mountain range, now being transformed, as he spoke to Zhao Wei.

Zhao Wei nodded, vowing to fulfill his duties.

"Let's go; the meeting is about to start," Lin Qian said as he turned and made his way to the grand chamber within the warship.

Inside the warship's meeting hall, many people were already seated.

Among them were Qin Wushuang, Wei Wushuang, and other elders of the Wanxiang Sect, including Gao Benli.

On the other side sat the former Sword Saint Sect leader Mei Yuexia, Sword Saint Wei Qingqing, and two other elders.

Lei Heng sat with his grandson, Lei Qian, behind Lin Qian's wife, Ye Xin. Her father, Ye Nanxin, and Bai Zun were also seated, with the younger generation from Ba Mountain City standing behind them.

These young members of the Bai and Ye families were visibly nervous, as they found themselves surrounded by figures they had once only heard of in stories.

Also present was Zhang Qi of the Eight-Armed Sea Clan, who was engaged in light conversation with Gao Benli and Lei Qian.

Additionally, Hai Mingyun, the former Grand Elder of the Jin Hai Sect, and Shen Yunhai, the former Grand Elder of the Beast Taming Sect, sat quietly with their followers, their expressions humble.

"His Majesty arrives!" a herald announced as the doors to the meeting hall opened, and Lin Qian entered.

Immediately, everyone in the room rose to their feet, their expressions varied as they watched him.

Wei Wushuang and Ye Nanxin looked at Lin Qian with pride and admiration.

Ye Xin's gaze was filled with tenderness and love.

Hai Mingyun, Shen Yunhai, and their followers looked at Lin Qian with respect and fear.

"Such a warm welcome! I'm flattered," Lin Qian joked as he took his seat beside Ye Xin. Zhao Wei sat beside Lei Qian.

Once Lin Qian was seated, everyone else followed suit, their eyes fixed on him.

In their eyes, Lin Qian was no longer just the Young Emperor of the Wanxiang Sect but the Emperor of the Huaxia Empire—a ruler with immense power.

Though young, his presence commanded respect, and the aura of authority around him was undeniable.

"Now, let's discuss the future of Linhai Prefecture," Lin Qian said with a smile as he looked around the room.
