Chapter 172: Chapter 172
"This view gets better every time," Ali muttered, his voice calm as he stood surrounded by streaks of white light. The glow enveloped him, illuminating the void of space stretching endlessly in every direction.
A massive blue interface materialised in front of him, the text shimmering with a faint, ethereal glow.
"Congratulations, Player Ali. Here are your rewards," it read.
Ali smirked slightly and folded his arms across his chest. "Alright, let's see what you've got for me," he said, his tone dripping with anticipation.
"Rewards for World Event: Choose your reward from the following options."
Option 1: Force Strength and Force Speed
Ali frowned slightly as he read the description of the first option:
"The player can use their Spirit to empower their body with increased strength and speed. Will not be able to use any other ability of the Force."
He shook his head in mild irritation. "You stingy bastards… I do all that, and you can't even give me the Force in its entirety? Just this?," he muttered under his breath before swiping the interface to reveal the next option.
Option 2: Force Telekinesis and Force Sense
Ali's eyes narrowed as he read through the description:
"The player can use their Spirit to wield Force telekinesis. Force Sense can be used continuously at a small Spirit cost."
He leaned slightly closer, considering the potential of the second option. "Okay… but let's see what else they've got."
He swiped the interface again.
Option 3: Summon – Drogath
Ali's eyes widened in surprise. He tilted his head slightly as he read the description beneath the title.
"The player will be able to summon Drogath once a day without any cost. The summoned Drogath will have no consciousness, functioning as a puppet under the player's command. The summoned Drogath will appear in his most powerful state. If killed, he can be summoned again 36 hours later."
Ali rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Now that's interesting… taking Drogath with me into other worlds, even if it's just a shell of him." A smirk spread across his face as he imagined the destruction he could unleash.
Ali weighed his options carefully.
'Option one is useless; I can gain similar results just by investing attribute points. Option three is strong—Drogath would be unstoppable for now. But as I grow stronger, he'll eventually fall behind.'
His thoughts sharpened, his mind already envisioning the long-term benefits of each reward.
With a calm but decisive motion, Ali pressed his finger against the second option: Force Telekinesis and Force Sense.
"This one will grow with me," he said, his voice resolute. "It can't be obtained easily any other way."
The moment he made his selection, the interface changed, displaying another line of text.
"Personal Mission: Kill a Jedi (42/1)"
Ali's eyes widened slightly at the number. "Forty-two," he muttered, a faint chuckle escaping his lips. "Fucking hell, I'm a murderer."
More text appeared beneath the title:
"Reward: 1 attribute point for completing the mission."
Ali squinted at the screen. 'You've gotta be SHITTI—' his thoughts were cut off as additional rewards scrolled onto the screen:
"Reward: 1 attribute point for doubling the target."
"Reward: 2,000 Paradise Coins for ten Jedi killed."
"Reward: Force Lightning for thirty Jedi killed."
Ali grinned, his satisfaction evident. "So that's the breakdown. Force Lightning as a reward? Perfect." His tone carried a mix of excitement and ambition.
The interface shifted once more, revealing a new mission:
"Personal Mission: Become a Sith Warrior (Completed)"
"Reward: Cross-Guard Lightsaber"
Beneath the text, an image of the weapon Ali had wielded during his time in Star Wars was displayed.
"Nice," Ali murmured, nodding approvingly before glancing away from the interface. His gaze wandered back to the endless void of space surrounding him.
He closed his eyes, letting the light around him fade.
The moment he reopened them, Ali found himself sitting on his bed in the slums. The familiar dim lighting of his small room greeted him, the contrast from the bright void of space almost jarring.
He glanced down at himself, noticing he was still clad in his tattered Sith uniform. He sighed softly, the material smelling faintly of smoke and blood from the battlefield.
A soft chime from his interface drew his attention. Another prompt appeared:
"When would you like to travel to your next world?"
Ali selected the 24-hour option without hesitation.
On the bed beside him lay his weapons: a pair of Desert Eagles, the hilt of his quinque, and now a new addition—the hilt of the cross-guard lightsaber. Ali reached out and picked up the lightsaber, the metal cool and familiar in his grip.
With a flick of his thumb, he activated the weapon. The deep red blade ignited with a sharp hiss, casting a crimson glow across his face. Ali stared into the blade, the red light reflecting in his dark eyes.
He closed his eyes briefly, trying to feel the Force within him. But as he concentrated, his frown deepened. "It's so weak… much weaker than it was in Star Wars," he muttered, his tone tinged with frustration.
Ali extended his hand and activated his telekinesis, lifting the lightsaber into the air. The blade hovered shakily, its movements unsteady. "It's draining more Spirit than it should," Ali observed. "My control is worse too."
He let the lightsaber fall gently back to the bed and deactivated it.
"Paradise doesn't have the Force everywhere like Star Wars did. I'm completely reliant on my Spirit here… That's my guess for now."
Ali turned his attention to his hands, summoning Force Lightning between his palms.
SPARK.
The red energy crackled weakly, less intense than he remembered. He manipulated it between his fingers, observing its properties carefully. "It still has its speed, but the power… it's weaker," he muttered before letting the lightning dissipate.
'Good thing I got two more free attribute points. I can increase my Spirit—it's draining way too fast now,' Ali thought, pulling up his interface.
Paradise Coins: 139 → 2139
Free Attribute Points: 0.5 → 2.5
Strength: 0
Body: 0
Speed: 0
Spirit: 2
Intelligence: 0
Luck: 0
Ali smirked. "2.5 free points. That's a massive power-up, but I'll save them for now. No need to rush."
He glanced at the clock on his interface. 'Six hours have passed.'. Ali remembered the exact time he left Paradise.
The reminder of Catherine's auction popped into his mind. "Right, the auction," Ali muttered, standing up and peeling off his battered uniform.
He stepped into the small bathroom attached to his room and turned the shower knob. Ice-cold water cascaded over his body, washing away the remnants of war. He closed his eyes, letting the water drench him as he reflected on his time in Star Wars.

So guys, how do you feel about the rewards, I'll be honest I struggled thinking of how I should structure it but I thought this was the most sensible rewards Paradise would offer Ali.
Please donate some of your power stones, it would help my ff massively.
