Sete didn't know the person who had entered the room, so she gave her sharp green glances.

The girl must have been about 17 years old, her skin was tanned and her long black hair framed her pretty face. Perhaps a little intimidated by Sete, she didn't go any further.

Her rigid black eyes swept over Spring's pale complexion, she was holding a steaming bowl, with colorful thermal gloves protecting her hands. Suddenly, Kai stepped out from behind the unknown girl and smiled:

— It's okay, Sete. This is Bianca, she's a friend. — The boy was fine, no visible injuries and as radiant as ever. — She cooks very well and has made you some soup to help you recover more quickly.

Sete sighed and relaxed her tense shoulders, there was no sign of danger.

Bianca didn't say anything and only moved when she noticed that the young deity had let her guard down, her serious expression a blank canvas that Spring couldn't decipher. Thomas entered the room soon after, followed by another boy who was also unknown. He smiled, his brown eyes full of concern at the bruises and scratches all over Sete's arms and face.

— Sete, as Kai said, these are Ethan and Bianca. — Thomas introduced the two strangers, who nodded in agreement. — They are also heirs of the Deities and helped you defeat that last servant of the End by distracting him.

Sete turned her attention to the other boy. He must have been around 18, his skin was naturally pale, with messy black hair and deep dark irises. The dark circles under his eyes, very evident against his pale skin, showed that he hadn't had a good rest over the last few days.

Ethan and Bianca had slender but athletic bodies. They had probably been surviving on their own in Ousbury for some time. They didn't seem like bad people, they were just as suspicious as Sete.

— Here. — Bianca rested the bowl of soup on the bedside table and moved away again, standing next to Ethan with her hands folded in front of her. She seemed to be a little withdrawn.

Sete felt a delicious aroma float up to her nose from the steaming soup, definitely no match for the bland supplies they had been consuming along the way. Noticing the young deity's interest in food, Ethan smiled small and said:

— Bianca works miracles with canned food, you should try it.

Sete swallowed the last spoonful of soup, she had never tasted anything so delicious. As it turned out, the food was one of the only positive points of having been thrown into the mortal world and separated from the other seasons.

"I want a taste too!!!!" — Vez whimpered inside Sete's mind.

"Are you stupid or what? How can you eat if you're just an annoying voice stuck inside my head?" — Spring retorted, without a shred of patience for dealing with that annoying System, which in turn remained quiet. Sete could almost feel his sullen scowl.

"Humph! You'll see, in the future I'll be able to eat whatever I want!" — Vez muttered disgruntledly. Sete couldn't tell what these words meant: would the System have a physical body? Where was this body? Why was his consciousness trapped in her mind? What's more, how on earth was it supposed to change this situation in the future?

The System didn't seem to be as simple as the young deity had imagined.

— So... — Ethan roused Sete from her ramblings. — Thomas and Kai told us about who you are and why you're here... It was a bit hard to believe, but we saw how you fought those monsters... They also commented on the E.G.O. prisoner convoy, you can stay with us until that's sorted out. Of course, only if you want to. We're all in the same boat, after all.
