Chapter 95: Chapter 95: The Wrath of the Demon Kings
After an entire year of relentless battle in the Demon Realm, Chan Lang and the elite disciples of the Heavenly Mystic Sect had honed their strength beyond what they thought possible. Their battles with the One-Horn Demon and its army had become legendary, their names etched into the very fabric of the battlefield.
However, the war was far from over. Deep within the Demon Realm, in the Infernal Abyss, the true rulers of this forsaken land stirred. The Demon Kings seven ancient and malevolent beings had grown tired of the prolonged battles and decided to step in personally. Each of these Demon Kings controlled vast territories, their power rivaling even the Immortal Emperors of old.
A Sinister Gathering
At the heart of the abyss, the seven Demon Kings sat upon thrones of bone and flame, their crimson eyes burning with fury.
"These so-called cultivators dare to invade our realm and lay waste to our armies?" growled the Crimson Devourer, his monstrous fangs glistening with demonic energy.
"It has been too long since we last tasted the blood of humans. Perhaps it is time to remind them why the gods sealed us away in the first place," hissed the Shadow Reaper, his body flickering between reality and darkness.
The most fearsome of them all, the Abyssal Tyrant, leaned forward, his eyes glimmering with malevolence. "Then let us welcome them properly. We shall unleash our full might upon these intruders."
The Arrival of the Demon Kings
Meanwhile, Chan Lang and the disciples, having just finished another grueling battle, sensed an overwhelming presence descending upon them. The sky darkened, and the very air grew heavy with oppressive energy. Seven figures emerged from the horizon, each exuding a terrifying aura.
"Looks like we've finally drawn out the real monsters," said Chan Lang, cracking his knuckles, excitement evident in his eyes.
"Monsters? No. We are your doom," the Abyssal Tyrant declared, his voice reverberating across the battlefield. "Kneel now, and we may grant you a quick death."
But instead of fear, laughter erupted from the disciples.
"Kneel? Do you hear that, senior brothers? They actually think we'll kneel!" one disciple mocked.
"I think they hit their heads too hard down here in this gloomy place," another added, snickering.
The Demon Kings snarled in rage. "INSOLENCE!"
With a wave of his clawed hand, the Crimson Devourer unleashed a storm of blood-fire, intending to incinerate them all in one move. But before the flames could reach them, Chan Lang lifted a single palm.
"Nice trick, but let me show you a real flame." He smirked and countered with his own attack, summoning the Heavenly Divine Flame, a white and golden inferno that devoured the demon fire instantly and surged toward the Demon Kings.
The Clash of Titans
The battle erupted in chaos. The disciples, no longer mere mortals, fought head-to-head against the Demon Kings, trading blows that shattered the very ground beneath them. The sky trembled as energy blasts collided, creating shockwaves felt throughout the realm.
Chan Lang faced off against the Abyssal Tyrant, dodging his monstrous strikes with effortless grace. "Is that all you got? My father hits harder than you!"
The Abyssal Tyrant roared in fury, his colossal fist crashing down. Chan Lang sidestepped, yawning. "Too slow. Maybe you should take some movement lessons? My sect offers free classes."
Meanwhile, the other disciples battled fiercely, matching the Demon Kings move for move.
"Why are they... laughing while fighting?!" the Shadow Reaper growled, bewildered.
One disciple landed a punch so hard that a Demon King's jaw cracked. "Because it's fun! You demons actually make great training dummies!"
The Unleashing of Forbidden Power
Realizing they were being humiliated, the Demon Kings roared in unison and activated their Forbidden Demon Arts, transforming into monstrous beings of pure destruction. The ground cracked, and the very laws of the realm distorted.
Chan Lang sighed. "Alright, I was having fun, but I guess we should wrap this up before father gets mad at me for dragging this out."
He raised his hand, summoning the Tai Chi Celestial Seal, a technique taught by his father. A massive golden and black yin-yang symbol manifested in the sky, radiating divine energy that suppressed the demonic forces instantly.
"This is the end," he declared, as the seal descended.
Victory and a New Goal
With a final explosion of light and energy, the Demon Kings were sealed away once more, their screams fading into nothingness. The battlefield fell silent.
The disciples cheered, celebrating their victory.
"That was fun! Let's find another realm to conquer!" one of them joked.
Chan Lang shook his head, laughing. "Not yet. We need to report back to my father first. He'll want to hear about this."
As the dust settled, Chan Lang and his disciples turned their eyes to the sky, knowing that their journey was far from over. The universe was vast, and many more challenges awaited them.
