The Invincible Sect Leader

Chapter 35: Chapter 35: The Sect Master's True Demonic Energy

A Shocking Revelation

Yan Ling sat cross-legged in his new Outer Sect courtyard, his heart still racing.

"The Sect Master… he knows."

He couldn't shake off the feeling of unease.

For years, he had lived in fear, knowing that any righteous sect would execute him the moment they discovered his demonic cultivation.

But instead of killing him

The Sect Master welcomed him.

"Does he really not care that I'm a demonic cultivator?"

Yan Ling was lost in thought when a voice interrupted him.

"Come to the Sect Master's Hall."

It was Bai Yun.

Yan Ling stiffened but quickly nodded.

"Did he change his mind? Is he going to kill me now?"

With cautious steps, he followed Bai Yun to the grand hall, where Chan Li sat lazily, sipping tea.

"You're surprisingly calm," Chan Li remarked, not looking up.

Yan Ling bowed deeply.

"Sect Master… I… I"

Chan Li raised a hand. "No need to explain."

Yan Ling froze.

Chan Li finally looked up, his gaze piercing.

"You cultivate demonic techniques. But… they're flawed."

Yan Ling's eyes widened.

"W-What do you mean?"

Chan Li smirked. "Demonic cultivation as you know it relies on consuming others, right? Killing, absorbing resentment, stealing life force."

Yan Ling hesitated, then nodded.

"That is the only way…"

Chan Li leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand.

"Who told you that?"

Yan Ling was stunned. "What? What do you mean? That's how demonic cultivation has always been!"

Chan Li chuckled.

"Wrong. That's how weak demonic cultivators cultivate."

Yan Ling's entire belief system shook.

"Then… how else can one cultivate demonic energy?"

Chan Li stood up.

"Watch closely."

With a casual wave of his hand

A dark yet radiant energy swirled around him.

Yan Ling staggered back in shock.

"T-That's… that's demonic energy?! No… no, it's different!"

Unlike the chaotic and corrupt demonic Qi he had always known, this energy was stable, balanced, yet overwhelmingly powerful.

It didn't feel like it was born from death and destruction

It felt ancient, primal, something beyond mere demonic arts.

Yan Ling's body shivered instinctively.

"What… what is that?"

Chan Li smirked.

"This is True Demonic Energy."

True Demonic Energy – Beyond Good and Evil

Chan Li clasped his hands behind his back.

"Demonic cultivation isn't inherently evil. It's just… misunderstood."

Yan Ling listened intently, his mind racing.

"Righteous cultivators cultivate Qi from heaven and earth. Demonic cultivators absorb resentment and death."

"But what if there was another path?"

Yan Ling's eyes narrowed.

"Another path…?"

Chan Li nodded.

"True Demonic Energy doesn't require you to kill. Instead, it refines both Heavenly Qi and Demonic Qi, balancing them into a purer, stronger force."

Yan Ling's breath caught.

"You mean… it's not about destruction, but balance?"

Chan Li smirked.

"Exactly. Instead of stealing from others, you cultivate all energies within yourself, refining them into something far superior."

He lifted a single finger, and suddenly

A Tai Chi symbol appeared in the air, swirling with black and white energy.

Yan Ling felt his soul tremble just looking at it.

"This… this is not ordinary demonic power…"

"It's something else entirely!"

Chan Li smiled.

"I call it… Tai Chi Demonic Cultivation."

Yan Ling was speechless.

A Choice to Make

Chan Li sat back down, sipping his tea.

"So, what will you do?"

Yan Ling clenched his fists.

If what the Sect Master said was true, then…

He had been deceived his whole life.

What if he didn't have to rely on killing? What if there was a stronger way?

But could he trust this man?

He hesitated.

Chan Li raised an eyebrow.

"I don't force anyone in my sect. If you wish to leave, you can. If you wish to stay, I'll show you a new path."

Yan Ling took a deep breath.

Then, he fell to his knees.

"Sect Master… please teach me!"

Chan Li smirked.

"Good. Your new cultivation journey begins now."
