Chapter 6: Chapter 5: The Awakening of the Chosen
The makeshift shelter was far from being a resting place. Although the beasts had been defeated, the tension in the air was dense. Among the survivors, one group stood out for the energy that surrounded them. Not only Lyon had changed.
"It wasn't just me..." he murmured, looking around.
His sister, with her breathing still agitated, had trembling hands. But it wasn't fear that I felt. It was power.
"Lyon..." his voice sounded uncertain. I saw it too. That window...

I wasn't the only one.
Other survivors, those who had fought by his side, shared the same expression of amazement and confusion. Not only had they survived; something inside them had changed.
The test was right in front of him.
One of the beasts, still dying on the ground, tried to move. But before Lyon could react, her sister raised her hand, and a burst of energy went through the creature's body, ending her life immediately.
Lyon opened her eyes wide.
"How did you do that?"
His sister looked at him with the same surprise.
"I don't know... I just... I felt like I could do it."
The rest of those who had woken up looked at each other. Their state windows flickered in front of them, showing abilities they had never possessed before.
This world was changing. And them with him.
From above, the god of dimension watched the scene with a smile. It wasn't just Lyon. The world was beginning to respond.
The god of the tree also noticed it.
—The hunt will not only be his.
The god of the dimension did not respond, but his interest in Lyon did not diminish. Even with others waking up, his gaze was still fixed on the young hunter.
That's when his father, the first god, broke the silence.
"My son," his voice echoed with the calm of an inevitable truth. It's time for you to go with him.
The god of dimension turned his head abruptly towards his father, surprised.
"What?"
The first god looked at him with that infinite wisdom that characterized him.
- You're watching it with too much interest. It's time for you to be closer.
The god of the tree remained silent, but the small curve in his mouth indicated that he was not surprised by his father's decision.
The god of dimension felt something strange in his chest.
Go with Lyon?
He didn't quite understand why, but the idea was... exciting.
"I'm going to see him up close," he murmured to himself.
With a simple gesture from his father, the dimension that surrounded him was fractured, and reality itself began to bend to his will. The door that had been created, the same one that was closed with such precision, that he mentioned that he was never going to go through, was now before him. At that moment, an older, powerful and serene figure appeared next to him: His father.
His father, with a presence as imposing as the calm of an ocean in its depth, stretched out his hand and knocked on the door with a slight pressure. Instantly, the door opened before him, and a current of pure energy emanated from his being, enveloping everything around him. A portal unfolded, not only towards the earth, but towards a plane that only they could control.
But just when the dimensional god was about to cross, the father raised his other hand, making a gesture that drained the essence of his son. In an instant, the atmosphere became dense and heavy, as if all the energy of the dimensional god was torn from his being. The powers that defined him disappeared, leaving him empty and vulnerable. The immortal form of the god began to crumble, transforming himself into a much more human figure.
"What have you done to me, father?" he murmured, feeling how the new humanity enveloped him. "This was not what was agreed!"
The father looked at him tenderly, approaching to put a hand on his shoulder.
"You do it because you need it, son." This is not a punishment, it's a gift. I want you to see and feel the world as mortals do. Here, you won't be a god, you'll be yourself.
A glow began to emerge in the eyes of the god, not of disdain, but of an acceptance that he never thought it would reach. In front of him, a "status window" appeared, as a reminder of his new reality.

From the shadows, his brother the god of the tree watched the scene. There was no malice in his gaze, only understanding. Although he knew that his brother would feel vulnerable and confused, he also understood that this was the step he needed to take. His brother approached his father, who also gave him a look, recognizing his presence.
"He's going to do well, isn't he?" the younger brother asked, with a slight concern in his voice.
The father nodded firmly, giving him an answer that only he could give:
—This is your journey. I trust him. He has the strength he doesn't know he has, and we will be here to guide him.
The brother smiled, his eyes shining with a mixture of love and complicity.
"I'm glad to hear that, father." I trust him too. And if you ever feel lost, I'll support you. After all, he's my brother.
With those words of support and unity, both father and older brother watched as the dimensional god descended towards the earth, knowing that, although the road would be difficult, he was not alone.
