Chapter 182: Of Rulers and Men! III
Mimics.
Mimics were a unique lineage of creatures that were born within a Realm in a nearby sector and subsequently hunted down to near extinction due to their troublesome nature.
They were extremely inclined towards chaos as more often than not, they took on the forms of other entities as they wreaked havoc and ruined relationships!
In the nearby Sectors, not a lot had been heard about them recently.
Near the lands of the Star Alliance.
A Void Vessel was crossing the void of space, passing a scorching golden sun nearby that distorted space heavily.
Within the Void Vessel were dozens of Rulers, with three Sky Rulers and a Void Ruler in the lead as they made their way towards defense lines between the Dark Rule and the Star Alliance.
"Must things be this way? Can there not simply be a battle between the entity responsible for massacring our people and our strongest Rulers? Why must the rest of us die in order to fulfill some long broken treaty?"
A sky ruler was grumbling as the vessel went forward, the Void Ruler looking towards him sternly as he was about to reply when…
He roared out instead.
….!
"Prepare for impact!"
His senses observed something that others had not picked up on yet on the surface of the sun they were passing. A calm figure was actually hidden as his body radiated a powerful gold light.
Before they could react, a golden sun had risen in the hands of this being who looked identical to someone they had seen images of.
The Stellar Ruler who killed Bartholomew.
And now…
BOOM!
A golden sun thundered onto a Vessel and split it apart, screams echoing out alongside roars.
"Run!"
"Call for help!"
The moment that the Vessel split apart, any ruler that wasn't covered by the power of the leading Void Ruler struggled to keep their life in outer space as utter devastation unfolded.
"Ah…"
War unfolded.
And it was not pretty.
In the lands of the Star Alliance, multiple Vessels and Star Realms were attacked, with any survivors from these places stating the same thing.
The Stellar Ruler burning with golden brilliance attacked them.
The Golden Ruler.
He was roaming across the sector of the Star Alliance and killing their people!
It was easy to guess what the response would be after all of this.
In just a few hours.
Within a major Realm under the banner of the Star Alliance!
"Unacceptable! We have lost multiple Sky and Void Rulers, as well as at least 4 Realms destroyed. Four Realms! In the span of a few hours!"
A man burning with Nebulae on his chest roared out as multiple Stellar Rulers frowned in a domain of white clouds above a tall mountain.
"You all…" The Nebulae Ruler turned towards the Stellar Rulers as he gave a command.
"Scour all the peripheries of our lands and be near any areas where this murderous Golden Ruler appears. Some of you…go target his home Realm. If he destroys ours, we can destroy his!"
…!
His voice was filled with maddened anger.
Opposite him, all the other Stellar Rulers nodded, but one woman surrounded by red light spoke out with hesitation.
"I've studied the recording and everything regarding this Golden Ruler. What I have learned does not fit with the actions that we are currently seeing as this may not actually be him, but simply someone mimicking who he is and sowing more chaos between us."
She spoke her opinion calmly and cautiously as opposite her; the Nebulae Ruler shook his head.
"At this point, it doesn't matter. We still have to defend our lands, and he is still the initiator of this war. The whole reason that other parties may want to meddle into this. I will pass the word up as we can look at this as a possible sign that the Beast Alliance could be moving behind the scenes. This war…may be occurring on multiple fronts."
…!
"I will ask for clearance to make a move myself on the Realm of this Golden Ruler. A Nebulae is best to crush a budding star before it grows too much."
The burly man with a dazzling Nebulae spoke out as the other Rulers nodded and moved out.
This was a war of Rulers. But it was also very much a war of men as stubborn ideals and pride grew in abundance!
—
As things unfolded in the lands of the Star Alliance.
In the periphery of the Death Lands of the Void.
||The Enneagram has begun actively analyzing the unstable authority in the surroundings.||
Alexander stepped onto this region of murky space filled with dark clouds- far, far away from his home.
If one were to come to him just a day ago to tell him that he would be exploring the void of space and be embroiled in a war, he would have laughed.
But…here things were.
The Enneagram continued its uniqueness and tried analyzing his surroundings and the feature of the Investigator…
[Tens of thousands of miles in the designated direction show vibrations of authority that may be between multiple clashing authorities.]
…!
Alexander smiled as the Investigator gave threads of information that made things easy for him.
Without too much worry, Alexander shot out towards the direction foretold.
And in a few minutes…
ROAAR!
He heard a terrifying roar that shook the dark clouds around him, his obscured vision slowly clearing as his eyes burned gold while looking ahead.
A few hundred miles away.
He could see the bright auras of multiple Void and Stellar Rulers taking on the form of Humans and Beasts, and they were working in coordination as they faced…a massive obsidian creature that had to be at least one hundred miles in size alone!
It was utterly and completely massive to even observe from afar, its body glistening with a chaotic dark radiance as at the center of its chest, a large massive black star spun.
The reason why many flocked to the Death Lands of the Void.
The Void Beasts that had their entire bodies as treasures!
