The dragon's harem

Chapter 1046: The Lizard From Ancient Earth

"Nina! Nina! Open your eyes…" Sebas shouted, shaking the unconscious Nina. She wasn't breathing and her heart wasn't beating, he couldn't even sense any kind of magic fluctuation from her head which meant her brain had long since died…

Sebas knew how much Arad wanted Nina, he even went to the trouble of making it clear to his wives. If he came back and found out that she died, this world would regret existing. "WAKE UP!" He shouted.

Nina lifted her hand and pushed him away, "Shut up…my head is hurting…" She growled, looking forward with a tired face, her stomach rumbling like an engine.

"You're…alive?" He looked at her as if he had seen a ghost. He still held her hand where he checked for a pulse, her heart was still stopped and she only breaths so she could speak.

"Stay here! I'll find a healer…" Sebas rushed away, he didn't know what exactly happened with Nina but he was certain of one thing, he must make sure she was alive and well before Arad returned.

"I'm starving…" Nina looked around her with nearly dead eyes, the only thing she could think of now was food, she needed something to eat. She reached with her hand and picked a small rock that was by her side and threw it in her mouth, chewing it like hard candy.

"Yeah…I have work…no…it's been days…" She stood, her stomach still rumbling and the clucking of hens to the side rang like a dinner bell in her head.

One of the hens looked at Nina's drolling face and gasped, "My cock! Look!"

The rooster looked at Nina and growled, "Motherclucker!"

When the owner of the chicken coop came later to get a hen to slaughter for dinner he found it empty, all of his birds seemed to have disappeared and the steel fence looked to have been chewed open.

"What in the hell would do this? The beast ate the steel fence!" This can't be the doing of a normal fox.

It was then that Sebas returned with a healer and didn't find Nina, he asked the distressed man searching his coop and immediately pieced it together.

Loci, the massive creature that Arad's territory is built upon informed Sebas that Nina was the one who ate all the chickens and the fence and that she is now hunting monsters and eating them in the forest.

This deep hunger burned inside her stomach, it didn't matter how much she ate, it all felt like nothing. Big or small monsters, they all felt like nuggets of stale bread. No matter how much Nina tried to think about it, she could only imagine one thing satiating her hunger, he's dense, powerful, and certainly worth more calories than any beast, Arad Orion.

She landed on the peak of the mountain, holding onto a tree that was growing from the mountain's side with her hands and legs, looking down at Arad's land, "Where did she go?" She couldn't sense the woman she was training with, her ancestor.

"Abandon mortality, return to tarrasque…"

This ancient abomination was called Feulone, a master summoner, and a star lord. At the beginning of time, he had been nothing more than a fledgling worm born from the stardust of the universe when AO refined it into the world that it is now.

This wasn't his first time seeing Tarra's kind, the tarrasques were one of the first few attempts that AO made to create life, the prototypes where he simply tried to crank all of the creatures' limits to their absolute peak.

Feulone clapped his hands, "Stall her down!" Countless human-sized monstrosities emerged from his shadow, swarming toward Tarra. They looked human, but deformed, lacking limbs or having multiple extras, their skin filled with warts, and some didn't even have skin. If a mortal saw this horrid army they would rather die than face, a wave of horrors approaching.

Tarra remained standing in place, not moving a single step as the abomination jumped over her, biting and striking at their full force, but no one managed to even scratch or move her an inch.

"Shit, it's not working." Feulone combed his fingers as he formed a massive eldritch spell, blasting Tarra with a black fireball of enough heat to charr all of his abominations alongside her.

As the fire burned and exploded, all of the abominations had turned into burned charcoal and some of the sand had turned into glass.

"Didn't work…fuck me…" Tarra was still standing in the same spot unscathed.

She took a step forward, the sand that was beneath her feet had remained unharmed, meaning that no matter how hot those flames were, they could even warm the sand covered by her skin.

Feulone was thinking, trying to figure out if he could run away from her or not. But he suddenly saw Tarra stop moving beside one of the burned corpses of minions.

She extended her hand forward and grabbed a piece of charcoal, squeezing it in her hand. When she opened her palm most of that charcoal had turned into a large black and white crystal crackling with eldritch magic.

Tarra looked at the gem with a large smile on her face and then started dancing, celebrating something.

Feulone almost shat himself, that was an eldritch diamond, a rare gem that can be mined deep within the cores of forgotten celestial bodies outside the universe. His minions were abominations from outside the universe and he had burned them into charcoal using eldritch flames, that charcoal they turned into…what kind of ungodly pressure is this monster capable of generating in her palm?

^No, she is busy looking at her new shiny gem, I have to get out of here, she can't catch me if I fly high enough.^ He extended massive fleshy wings out of his back and flew at a blinding speed, racing to the upper atmosphere. In a few seconds, he was able to reach the moon by putting his all into getting the hell away.

"Good, she can't get me here…" He looked down at the world and suddenly saw the continent crack, a massive lizard flying straight toward him.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He screamed like a little girl seeing a flying T-rex rushing at her. The wingless tarrasque landed right above him in her monster form, this massive monster had enough strength and accuracy to jump to the moon.

The tarrasques were massive creatures standing on all fours, reaching a height of almost three thousand meters{3 Km or 0.6 miles}. Their whole body was covered in a spiked shell that could reflect all magic, their regeneration was out of the chart, and their strength allowed them to jump out of the world itself. It was a common case for a tarrasque to throw itself into space like a cat jumping out of a window.

In a panic, Feulone used his trump card, a massive condensed spear of eldritch flames that he thrust at the tarrasque's head, piercing her skull through the mouth. Immediately after seeing that he could hurt her by attacking from the inside of her mouth, he aimed a second spear down her throat toward where the heart should be.

Strangely, she didn't seem to bother dodging or even reacting, she stood there, motionless without a single worry in the world.

She had a stomach but no intestines as her stomach alone would perfectly digest anything she ate, she wasn't designed to multiply so she had no womb.

She has kidneys but they dump everything into her stomach to be recycled into energy so she doesn't need to pee.

She had blood but no heart, her veins were strong enough to push blood through her whole body on their own. She had lungs but could breathe directly through her skin. And if she needed, her body can still generate energy without oxygen, it'll just be a bit more inefficient.

She could see across dimensions, survive extreme temperatures, and even fully regenerate from as much as a single drop of blood.

The tarrasque most infamous trait is their immunity to death, they literally don't exist on death's list. The world was lucky that AO managed to balance them in the end to create the dragons, yes, the tarrasques were the prototypes for dragons that failed.

The main reason for the tarrasques' disappearance was their ungodly consumption of energy and never-ending hunger, no matter how much they ate they couldn't fuel their bodies to survive for long. Eventually, they couldn't maintain their bodies any longer and they started ceasing to be alive without being dead, souls stuck into flesh cages. Unable to die yet forever tortured by an insatiable hunger.

Soon AO took pity on them and reclaimed their souls, erasing their existence from history and putting an end to that failed experiment…but, not all the tarrasques perished, one of them managed to survive.

Tarrasque number 00000000000000001, the first that AO ever created, the most broken of them all. She was their eldest, their smartest, their most wise, and shrewd intellectual. She had discovered the miracle act of sleeping, hibernating for centuries to save energy.

She was and is still an unkillable, testament to AO's power and magnificent handiwork, the peak of life, the peak of striving to remain alive. Even if she was reduced to ash, she'd still rise back up.

Yes, one drop alone. That blood would conjure a bit of powerful acid which would digest anything that is around the blood drop, and use that food to create more blood and grow. In less than a minute she would turn from a blood drop into a fetus and into a fully grown tarrasque.

This monster's living blood was what is now coursing through Nina's veins, and it's getting accustomed to her. With each passing day, she gets closer to her ancestor.

Feulone cried as he saw the Tarrasuqe moving fine like nothing happened. She didn't even have a brain, the collective nerves all around her body worked as a brain.
