The Door of My Bathroom Leads to the Comic World!

"Make sure to wash the dishes properly! If not, you'll see your pay get deducted!" Tohru commanded, doing her best to sound like a boss lady.

"I... understand. I'll do my best," Emi replied, sighing with a tearful expression.

"By the way, your last job was as a telephone operator, right?" Sui asked suddenly.

"Ah, yes," Emi responded instinctively.

"Great, from now on, you'll handle the phone calls for the shop. You'll be in charge of taking reservations," Sui said with relief.

Up until now, Elma and Tohru had been answering the phone, but both were rather clumsy and often got the customers' names wrong, which had led to quite a few awkward situations. Emi's experience made her perfect for the job.

As work progressed and dinner hours arrived, the customers began pouring in one by one. Sui busied himself in the kitchen, unaware that, at that very moment, a certain sneaky senpai was rolling around happily on his bed, clutching his quilt.

Later that evening, after a long day of business, the shop finally closed.

Following a delicious late-night snack, Emi looked at Sui with hopeful eyes.

Sui sighed at the sight and said, "I get it. As long as you did your job well, your salary won't be deducted."

He stood up to check her work. The dishes were cleaned and neatly stacked in the cupboard, and the names of the customers who made reservations were meticulously recorded in the notebook by the phone.

"Good job," Sui nodded with satisfaction. "Here's your pay for today."

As Emi took the several thousand-yen bills in her hand, a smile broke across her face. The shame of working for the so-called Demon King faded as the money made it all worthwhile.

"Keep up the good work tomorrow," Sui encouraged her.

"Mm," Emi nodded, a hint of gratitude flashing in her eyes. 

As she held the cash, she began to realize that the job wasn't as bad as she had initially thought. The pay was great, and the food was delicious. 

'Well, as long as I ignore the fact that I'm working for the Demon King...' 

Meanwhile, Utaha slipped out of Sui's room. After days of observing his schedule, she had perfectly timed her visits to his apartment. Sui always went out to the snack bar at the same time, and while he was sometimes lazy, Utaha had figured out exactly when he would return.

But today, she wasn't leaving empty-handed.

Utaha pressed her face against a white shirt she had "borrowed," inhaling deeply, her eyes closing in intoxicated delight. With a satisfied smile, she left Sui's apartment, choosing to head straight home instead of returning to the apartment next door.

That night, Sui slept soundly in his room—until something caught his attention.

"Huh? Why does that strange smell seem to be back?" He frowned, catching a faint fragrance in the air, one that seemed oddly familiar. But when he sniffed again, it was gone.

"That's really strange," he muttered, shaking his head. As he moved, a few long black hairs fell from the quilt.

"It's happening again?" he whispered, perplexed. "Tohru, did you take the quilt outside to dry today?"

"Yeah, I just let it air out in the sun," Tohru answered, surprised by his question as she walked in wearing her pajamas.

"No wonder," Sui nodded. He figured the hair must have gotten stuck to the quilt while it was outside. "Alright, let's go to sleep."

"Okay!" Tohru cheerfully climbed into bed.

However, the next morning, Sui discovered something was off.

"Tohru, have you seen my white shirt?" he asked, rummaging through the drawers.

"Huh? The white shirt? I think I put it in the drawer. Is it missing?" Tohru asked, yawning as she stretched.

"It's not there," Sui muttered, scratching his head. "Maybe Erina took it again..."

A few days later, something unexpected happened.

"The host has used the 'Collectors Knives' Boarsuke Knife to process over a hundred ingredients, unlocking 'Boarsuke Knife' hidden properties."

A voice echoed in Sui's mind during class.

"Finally unlocked!" Sui whispered, putting down 'Boarsuke Knife', a serrated blade he seldom used compared to his other knives. He had deliberately been saving up ingredients to unlock its potential, and today, his patience had paid off.

The hidden attribute of 'Boarsuke Knife' was similar to that of the 'Collectors Knives' 'Nichirin', in that it improved the taste of the ingredients. However, 'Nichirin Knife' was better suited for large cuts of meat, while 'Boarsuke Knife' excelled at processing smaller ingredients.

The two blades perfectly complemented each other.

"The host has unlocked the attributes of five 'Collectors Knives's. A reward of a gourmet gift package and another 'Collectors Knives' has been issued."

"Great! Only one more 'Collectors Knives' to go," Sui thought excitedly.

In his enthusiasm, he accidentally shouted out loud, drawing the attention of his classmates.

"Sui, is something wrong?" Megumi asked from across the table, concerned.

"Oh, no, nothing," Sui said quickly, lowering his head, embarrassed.

"Hey, Sui, did you and Erina have a fight or something? You seem a little on edge," Yoshino teased, sticking her tongue out.

"No, we're fine," Sui replied hastily.

"Really?" Ryoko chimed in with a knowing smile. "You've been wearing the same shirt for two days now. Did Erina refuse to do your laundry?"

"Haha, I bet they had a fight!" Sōma laughed, causing a ripple of laughter in the group.

Sui could only sigh. Recently, he had been losing clothes at an alarming rate—sometimes a shirt, sometimes a jacket, and even, once, a pair of underwear had gone missing.

He had intended to change his shirt that morning, but no matter how hard he looked, he couldn't find it. So, he had no choice but to wear yesterday's shirt again.

Now, he was starting to wonder if someone was secretly stealing his clothes.
