The Billionaire's Alluring Flash-Marriage Wife

Chapter 10: Chapter 10 Are You Willing to Put the House Under Your Name?

But her husband had just pushed her away.

Tang Zhiluo felt a bit hurt inside.

When a woman is pushed away by a man, anyone with a bit of dignity would feel very upset.

"You are Mo Xun, huh." Tang Zhixian revealed a smile, knowing that her younger sister Tang Zhiluo had gotten married, to a corporate executive.

Tang Zhixian had visited the Xinghe Bank apartment twice but had never met her sister's husband, Mo Xun.

She didn't expect her brother-in-law to be so handsome!

Both his demeanor and appearance were top-notch, dignified and dazzling, catching one's eyes.

"Hello." Mo Xun did not want to call Tang Zhixian 'sister', merely nodding slightly in acknowledgment.

Tang Zhiluo felt uncomfortable; he indeed looked down on their family, not willing to even call her 'sister', creating a little knot in Tang Zhiluo's heart.

Mo Xun, however, considered that he was about to divorce and saw no need to get to know her family.

"You guys chat." After saying this, Mo Xun returned to the master bedroom, his figure cool and indifferent.

Left in the living room were Tang Zhiluo and Tang Zhixian.

Mo Xun was too aloof, and Tang Zhiluo, feeling a bit embarrassed, said, "I'm sorry, sis. Mo Xun is just like that, not much of a talker."

"He does seem quite arrogant." Tang Zhixian sat on the sofa.

Tang Zhiluo washed some cherries for her sister to eat, "Sis, have some cherries."

Tang Zhixian reached out to grab Tang Zhiluo's hand, "What happened today? My sister-in-law came home and complained to my in-laws that you seduced her man."

Tang Zhiluo was exasperated, "She's just a woman who distorts the truth!"

Tang Zhiluo recounted the day's events.

Tang Zhixian was speechless, "Liang Shiyu is just a troublemaker!"

Tang Zhixian didn't like her husband's family either.

In fact, Tang Zhixian was having an even harder time than Tang Zhiluo.

Tang Zhiluo was merely "under watch" at the company, whereas Tang Zhixian was being "manipulated" by her mother-in-law.

Ever since Liang Yuanze made his fortune, Mrs. Liang behaved like the Empress Dowager in the family, domineering and tyrannical because of her son's success!

Initially, the relationship between Tang Zhixian and Liang Yuanze was quite good, but since Mrs. Liang arrived, the home was filled with disputes.

Mrs. Liang always told Liang Yuanze, "You should marry a virtuous wife. A woman should not go to the company for work; if she holds power, she will climb over your head sooner or later. Even for your parents to spend a dime, they'd have to look at that woman's face!"

Liang Yuanze, who was foolishly filial, stopped Tang Zhixian from working at the company to "quell the domestic strife."

After getting pregnant, Tang Zhixian suffered a lot. She vomited every day and eventually compromised due to her condition.

Now six months pregnant, Tang Zhixian would still vomit after meals, but less than before, where she used to vomit blood and go to the hospital for nutrition injections.

Mrs. Liang scolded her daily, "I don't know what kind of body you have, vomiting every day. Other daughters-in-law are not as delicate as you!"

Tang Zhixian had no status at home; Liang Yuanze would give her a monthly allowance of 5,000, and if she didn't obey, even that would be cut off.

Tang Zhixian had difficulty getting pregnant, and she endured for the sake of the child. She didn't think the marriage was unworthy, and as Liang Yuanze became wealthier day by day, after waiting so long for his success, should she just divorce and let another woman take the property?

The two sisters talked for a while.

Tang Zhixian suddenly asked, "Did your husband buy this house?"

"Yes," Tang Zhiluo nodded.

"This house costs ten million?"

"Fourteen million or so." It's over 100,000 per square meter; she had seen the prices at the Xinghe Bank agency center downstairs.

"That's almost fifteen million then." Tang Zhixian sighed, "It's better to be a local. Your husband bought the house ready, but does the house have a mortgage?"

Tang Zhiluo shook her head, "I don't know, I never asked him."

"Is he willing to put it under your name?"

Mo Xun, who was coming out of the bedroom, happened to hear Tang Zhixian's question.

He was about to leave as his good friend Lu Zhihan called him out for a drink, and he overheard the conversation between the sisters.

Mo Xun paused, silently standing in the hallway.

The two people in the living room couldn't see him.

Tang Zhixian said, "You've been married for three months, how can you not know anything about the financial situation? Find a chance to ask him if he is willing to put the house under your name; if he is, that'd be even better."

To Mo Xun, these words sounded particularly mercenary.

He had already planned to transfer the house to Tang Zhiluo upon divorce, but hearing Tang Zhixian's words, he felt they were scheming against him.

He had an unpleasant feeling.

Throughout history, few who plotted against him ended well!

Mo Xun's expression darkened, and he strode from the shadow of the corridor into the living room.

His sudden appearance startled the two women in the living room. Tang Zhiluo asked him, "Are you going out?"

Mo Xun had loosened his tie when he had come back, but now it was tied again, indicating he was leaving.

"Hmm." Mo Xun responded, and Tang Zhiluo did not speak further.

Mainly because Tang Zhiluo did not know what to say; she was not close to Mo Xun, and it would seem strange to ask him to come back early.

Yet again, he didn't tell her where he was going, ignoring her and her sister once more.

Mo Xun didn't hear a reply from Tang Zhiluo. Glancing back, he saw her biting her lip, a look of restraint on her face.

His eyes gleamed with a cold light.

Was she enduring everything for the sake of the house?

Mo Xun sneered and left.

"Your husband is really cold to you, isn't he?" After Mo Xun left, Tang Zhixian said to Tang Zhiluo.

Tang Zhiluo nodded, "Yes, he's quite aloof. But regarding the house, I don't think I should ask. You know, with the house costing so much, it's already good of him to let me live here. Besides, he gives me ten thousand a month for living expenses, I think he's pretty good."

Tang Zhiluo had never coveted Mo Xun's property.

Relatives could become estranged, let alone someone like Mo Xun, who had no blood relation with her.

Human nature has always been cold; Mo Xun has already done well, and for her to make unreasonable demands would be overreaching.

"That's true." Tang Zhixian had dated her husband for several years before marriage and was still controlled, receiving only five thousand in pocket money each month.

Compared to her husband, her brother-in-law could be considered decent.

Certainly better than her own family situation, currently living in a house with five bedrooms and two living rooms, along with Mrs. Liang, her brother and sister-in-law, her younger sister-in-law, and the latter's two children, more than ten people squeezed into one house.

Given Liang Yuanze's financial capacity, they could afford to rent another apartment for them to live in, but the mother-in-law insisted on playing the Empress Dowager.

And the others, naturally, saw it as a chance to benefit from Liang Yuanze and could save on rent by staying with him.

Tang Zhixian despised such people, all vampires leeching off Liang Yuanze as much as possible.
