That Time I Got Reincarnated By Veldanava

Chapter 35: Milim Meets Uncle Veldora

The day after Henrik initiated his evolution, Veldanava, accompanied by Lucia and Veldora had arrived in Milim's domain. They planned to stay there for a few weeks at most and reconnect with their daughter, but Veldanava assured Henrik they'd be back for the coming war.

However, due to Veldanava keeping his younger brother away from Milim when he was 2000 years ago, they'd never actually met properly. So it was time to introduce the two of them.

"Milim, this is your uncle Veldor..." Lucia tried to speak but before she could finish, there was a massive clash in the skies. Thunderous bangs and air was pushed with such pressure that Lucia's well kept hair had been messed up. When she looked up, it was Milim and Veldora fighting.

They constantly traded punch for punch, a massive grin on both faces. "Milim, Veldora," Veldanava tried to speak but his voice was blocked out by sounds of sonic booms.

"Julius blast. Julius blast. Julius blast," Veldora yelled as he made a small beam in his hands and fired it towards Milim. It was the basic attack he'd learned from Julius that could destroy enemies if hit. Not that it would work on Milim but harming her.

Milim was holding her sword but Veldora asked to use it and she replied with a happy and child like, "Go ahead uncle Veldora."

Veldora that took her sword and Milim looked at him giddily. "Do it. It won't harm me," Milim said with a smile.

"Very well niece. Behold the power of the mighty Storm Dragon Veldora. HAHAHAHAHA. Dark Magic, Dark Cloaked."

Veldanava, as a fellow Black Clover fan knew what was coming next and looked scared prompting Lucia to ask him, "My love. What is it? Could this harm Milim?"

"Perhaps. Veldora is going to his innate ability to cut through space to mimic a move from Black Clover. It's called Dimensional Slash. It can cut through infinite space in a second. Milim is strong, but few things can protect against something that moves so fast."

"Well stop them," Lucia said in a tone that was half ordering and half pleading. Exactly like you'd expect a mother to beg someone to save her daughters life.

"I plan too," Veldanava said before jumping into the air. "Veldora. Milim. ENOUGH," Veldanava as he began to grow in size and his form changed. In an instant, he had entered his draconic form. However, it was too late.

"Dimensional Slash," Veldora yelled as he brought the sword down and launched the attack.

As Veldanava watched the attack, he released that he wasn't fast enough to stop the attack. However, just before the attack landed, Lucia appeared in front of Milim. And when the slash made contact, it disappeared.

"Both of you, enough." Lucia ordered.

The next thing anyone knew, Milim and Veldora were on their hands and knees begging forgiveness.

"Forgive us," They begged but Lucia looked down on them with pure disappointment. Even Veldanava, as powerful as he is, was standing behind her and not speaking up.

"Milim, I take it this isn't the first time you've met Veldora?" Lucia asked.

"No mommy. After you and daddy were killed, uncle Veldora and my aunts came with Dino looking for vengeance. We kept in touch over the years. Every so often, my aunts would contact me asking if I was okay or needed anything, uncle Rudra as well. But uncle Veldora, for the last 300 years, he'd visit me sometimes."

Veldanava was surprised at this. He knew that Veldora sought vengeance for his 'death' but he never knew he'd kept in contact with Milim. But then another thought crossed his mind.

'300 years? Isn't that when Henrik told me he should have been sealed? I see, so whatever changed not only stopped Veldora from being sealed, but it made his bond with Milim. Little Chloe, you are a mystery aren't you? I don't know what is going on, but my wife wants a happy family. If you have any hand in this, I will protect you forever.

And she still calls us mommy and daddy? After all these years, oh Milim.'

However, Lucia had a much different reaction.

"So," Lucia said appeared behind Veldora, her voice making him sweat in fear. "You abandoned your niece for 1700 years?"

Veldora, now so scared he might die, looked to his big brother for backup but Veldanava knew better than to side against his wife and just gave Veldora shrug that said, "Sorry bro."

"Well, it's just. I was very busy. And I did eventually reach out and visit. Whereas my sisters and your brother, they only sent letters. That's it. Letters," Veldora said panicking to try and defend his absence.

"Oh, don't you worry. I'll see to them," Lucia said in a cold voice. "But they're not here. You are. Veldora.

Manga. Now," Lucia ordered.

"But... But, I earned this manga," Veldora responded pitifully.

"Was that a question?" Lucia asked him bluntly.

"No ma'am," Veldora quickly responded as he pulled all the manga from his pants, pockets and tied to his cape and handed them over, looking increasingly miserable as he handed over each chapter.

"Veldora. Is there something you want to say to Milim?" Lucia asked him.

"Of course. Milim, my dear niece. I'm so very, very sorry I wasn't there for you for so long. I'll do better in the future I promise."

"Good boy. You can have two chapters back. You get the rest back when I think you mean the apology," Lucia said as she handed to chapters of Black Clover which Veldora and looked like a child opening Navamas presents.

"Milim. You don't destroy your land playing okay my dear," Lucia said as she patted Milim on the head.

"Yes mommy. I won't do it again."

After this, Lucia sent the two away to think about what they did. During this whole exchange, Veldanava was reminded of what Lucia truly wanted, for her family to be together. And he was now more motivated than ever to help Henrik so his wife's dream could become a reality.

"You're so good with him," Veldanava said as he puts his arms around his wives waist.

"No, you're just bad. Henrik told you to bring Veldora, that's why he's here. I'm already close to him, but your relationship is strained with him. While we're here. I want you to reconnect with Veldora. You're his big brother. The closest thing he has to a father and role model.

We can deal with the others later. I see how you and Henrik look at each other when I mention Rudra. I know something is wrong. I won't pry. I'll trust you and Henrik to keep his promise to get me my family. But Veldanava, it's not just Rudra. It's Velzard, Velgrynd and Veldora. And for my family to be together, you have to make them trust you again.

Promise me you will?" Lucia asked with a hint of desperation in her voice.

"I promise my love. I'll repair our family, and when I do. I'll help Henrik keep the peace forever, that way, we can be assured that we live happily for the rest of time."

"My love, what will happen then? At the end of time. Will everything just end?"

"Honestly, I'm not completely sure. I've never been that far ahead, and my former omniscience, well. I erased my memories of what will be. But I'm sure me and Henrik can stop it. Maybe. If not. I'll recreate everything with him and bring our family back. Why'd you ask?"

"It's just. You're all immortal in terms of you live forever. But you and Henrik, you told me even after the end of time, you two will still live. Just the two of you. Won't it be lonely?"

"Maybe. But Henrik is my oldest friend. When I, or the Will, was lonely. Henrik was the first thing it met. I am what remains of that will, making him my friend. And even while I got to work making creation, Henrik was sleeping, but he was at my side. In truth, I think I need him more than most.

Because he was always with me, and he'll be the one thing left with me after the end. I don't know what happens for certain in the future. But I know I'll be with you until the end."

"Veldanava," Lucia said almost crying.

"Yes, my love."

"Don't loose your friendship. Because I can't bare the thought of you being alone again. I know you and Henrik had an argument, I heard it. Don't fall out with him. Because one day, I won't be here. Even your siblings won't be. And you two will need each other."

Veldanava could see that his wife's worry was genuine. She truly believed Veldanava needed Henrik, that they needed each other. And so, he held her tight. And promise to always be Henrik's friend. Long after his entire family is gone.
