When I brought it in, it was just three meters long and when it escaped , it was five meters long but now it looks to be about twenty meters. It's fascinating." Twilight mused.

Holy! Twenty meters?! And why the heck did you let such a monstrosity roam loose?

As soon as Great sage said this, I started to hover twenty meters above land.

I was avoiding all of its attacks by either flying high or flying at a different direction. Soon, basilisk started to get tired and slow down due to its huge body but low stamina.

Wait, is it slowing down? Is it tired? Thinking that, I breathed a sigh of relief and started to slow down a bit.

Before I could do anything, the basilisk slammed its long tail at the nearby cliff, destroying it completely.

All the rocks and boulders started to fall at me, I tried to avoid as many as I could but I still got hurt by some and my wings got torn by some.

Ugh, it isn't good. My wings are torn, now I can't fly at my full speed. Great sage, use my demonic wings. I said while pulling out a sword I picked in my last fight.

Good! Now then, I know that my demonic wings aren't as good as my dragonic ones so, running away isn't an option. Either I fight or I let it eat me. Of course I would choose the first one.

Thinking that, I pulled out the sword. It was a normal long sword. The only unique thing about it was its grade. It was a sword of Rare grade and was made up of Magi-steel.

This sword is pretty good. I thought and charged at it with my full speed and tried to slash its face but-

As soon as my blade collided with its scales, it made a loud noise and my attack was deflected... Just like that?

Seeing my attack having no effect, I got shocked and Basilisk used that to its advantage and slammed its tail on me.

I was thrown to the ground with a crash and a loud thud. There was a huge pillar of dust. Once it subsided, I was there laying with a few injuries.

Its bad. Great sage, damage report! I asked to know the damage I took from that attack.

...It doesn't look good. It's more than two times the damage I took in my whole battle against that Chimera and here it surpassed all that in just one attack.

The basilisk once again tried to swallow me whole but I sped away and avoided it. Seeing its attacks failing, the basilisk took a huge leap and crashed on top of the ground and went underground through a hole it dug.

Ugh, where did it go? Will it attack from Behind? Front? Below? From where?

As soon as I got the notice, I took a huge leap and flew back several meters and surely, as soon as I moved, a huge mouth came out of the ground and swallowed the land where I was standing. I barely avoided it because of 'Great sage's' notice.

After such thoughts, I used my Megicules to strengthen the sword and sharpen its blades. After my Megicules connected and enveloped the sword, it started to glow in a vibrant bluish-purple colour. Seeing this success, I smiled.

"Sorry, but you chose the wrong opponent." I said to look coo- I mean I said to scare it, yeah scare it!

After saying that, I launched down towards the basilisk with a great speed reaching a thousand kilometres per hour. As soon as I reached the basilisk, I saw something that will give me nightmares.

The basilisk opened its mouth wide in anticipation of my attack. It wanted to swallow me the moment I come down.

Hey Great sage, you said its stomach is its weak point right?

...*Gulp* I am trusting my life on your judgements, please don't disappoint me or else I will die.

I thought while thinking of doing something very stupid that will hunt my dreams forever.

After that conversation, I dived at my full speed towards basilisk's wide opened mouth. Soon I reached it and...

"GULP" -got swallowed by that basilisk. After swallowing its prey, the basilisk started to get inside the hole it made.

But right before it could completely disappear, it started to move weirdly and started to get out of its hole.

"KREEEAAAKK!"

It gave a loud screech and started to slam its head and tail at the nearby boulders as if hitting something. Slowly its movements started to get sloppy and slow.

"KREEAAAKK....KEAKKRR!!"

It screeched once more before a bright light came out of its stomach and soon its stomach got blown into peaces and the basilisk got cut in half.

Both of its body part were slithering and moving in pain but after a few minutes it started to slow down and finally it stopped.

There was a huge trail of blood and the organs and meat of the basilisk was blown to several places, tens of meters away.

In the middle of all that chaos was standing a person, breathing heavily while clutching his sword in his right hand which was glowing in a vibrant bluish-purple colour.

"*Pant* It *Pant * was a *Pant* success...*Sigh* I survived once agian....barely." I said panting, sitting down in the middle of all the blood and organs.

"But it still was one hell of a scary experience which I wouldn't want to experience again." I said while grinning widely.

"Now than, what should I do with you? You were one huge pain in the ass, you know." I said, looking at the fallen basilisk. Hmm....I started to think of what to do.

"Gluttony!" I screamed, extending my hand. As soon as I said it, a purple-black demonic mist came out of my palm and went towards the fallen basilisk.

Just after a few seconds, it had already covered the whole mass and was now absorbing it at a fast speed. After waiting for two-three minutes, it finally absorbed the whole basilisk alongside its blood and...parts.
