Chapter 370: Special Grade Gawee Cart

The battlefield was filled with bodies but each one they touched just crumbled down.

Everyone was just confused. This wasn't supposed to happen.

They all turned to the Chieftain, but they found him inside the two red explosion places; he was moving and using some device and searching for something.

Dream Fortune then floated toward the giant hands of Medos, each was bigger than her. They, too, were barely husks. They would crumble if touched.

'Shadow. Use your shadow realm ability to contain them. I will give you the list of beasts that you will take in too!" Dream Fortune said.

Her shadow moved and the Shadow Dragon shifted around and sank the hands with careful mastery.

The Shadows weren't tangible so the hands didn't crumble. So also the other beasts ordered by Dream Fortune.

The other people saw that; they, too, used their means and began to take the even crumbling dust of beasts.

Hours later, the unknown Chieftain came out from the two locations. His face showed content with what he got.

"Did any Medos die?" They asked.

"Medos are too smart for that. Especially intelligent types." He said. He seemed willing to discuss as he said, "Why do you think that happened!"

He pointed at the largest destruction.

A vast chasm was created due to that nuke-like explosion.

They all trembled, including Dream Fortune. Not of the explosion site, they all can bring forth that kind of devastation. It wasn't anything unique.

But what had transpired, and what had made it? They all heard the screams and echoes of multiple sounds.

"That wasn't just a damn casual boom?" The afro-style man said with apprehension, "What was it?"

"Who knows?" The chieftain shrugged; he had heard it before and even experienced it in one of his fights, but he didn't know and didn't care!

"They came knowing they would lose. So they contracted another big monster to act if there was no clear victory!" Dream Fortune said.

"If the Living Root Child continued, he would have died. Immortal or not he won't be resurrecting!" The Chieftain said.

"Yeah!" Dream Fortune concurred, "But that flying thing will die in the way!"

The Chieftain sighed, "They contacted three of them. The one with the red ball, the flying monster and a teleporter to save them in case things went out of control."

He also added as he looked around, "They won't die, the Living Root Child will. They are not stupid, they have been watching him!"

Brown Team and the others stared at the two, wondering if they were talking about Red Canvas or not.

So, the boy wasn't done using his cards, how much secret did he have?

"Have you seen him use it?" Dream Fortune asked almost pleadingly.

"Have you?" He asked back and she shook. Her Fortune ability allowed her to see its after-effects if possible used.

"I felt its usage." The Chieftain said, "After I arrived, I saw it was used against a Battle Beast. The child was quite weak by then and I even failed to believe it was him that pulled that power."

Dream Fortune was dragging the conversation to serve as a warning to the players around her. Hopefully, that will deter them.

The Chieftain, too, understood her attention, and that's why he continued the discussion as earnestly as he could.

***

The subject of their conversation was sleeping soundly in a luxurious room. The bed he was on had 10% softness of the Lord Cushion of his Red Book.

His attire was not on him; he was in a white t-shirt and soft half-trousers. All his injuries were gone, though, and he slept with peaceful expressions and even a soft smile as if he were having a good dream.

The condition of the room was cool, filled with the scent of nature, and the light was dim, which allowed comfortable resting.

Ding!

This brings him out of his sleep slowly without irritation.

[Congratulations]

He opened his eyes and looked around before he turned and tucked under his soft fabric blanket.

[Your evolution has ended]

He has no idea that he has been asleep for 5 days now. So he felt hunger and thirst too.

He groaned like a spoiled brat who had everything in a silver spoon. And he sat down, lazily, his eyes half closed, remnants of sleep still in them.

Somehow, the bed shifted and became a couch, and the comforting feelings of sleeping reduced drastically.

Now it was up vibrantly wakefulness.

Before his evolution ended, other notifications filled his eyes, and he remembered the battle that happened, and he took a deep sigh.

It felt like a dream.

Still, something persisted and that was the bitter taste of Deific Seal. As if it was a wound in his psyche that refused to heal.

He pushed that away. He had suffered something similar and that was when he had an extreme desire to pursue something that would add strength to his fragile body.

"Damn it." Seth ran his hand through his lush hair, "I failed to even harvest a single Monster Core, let alone Beast Core!"

"I didn't even have a full view of the devastation from an omniscient view!" He lamented. He wanted to paint that.

"Why am I starting with negativity?" Seth wondered. Well, it was human nature to focus on things they don't have rather than things they have.

He shook his head and pulled positivity to his heart and then went through his notification.

"WOW!" Seth was speechless.

"Gawee Cart Grade 5!" Seth was beyond shock.

"Not that is not right!"

"It's Special Gawee Cary Grade 5!"

Seth leaned back on the couch, his right hand went to settle on the back lean support and he scrutinized the thing that changed.

"Haha. Here I was complaining that I didn't harvest any beast cores."

"Now I understand. Everything with the name Gawee has surprises in store with them. Good. Good."

What Seth was seeing was more than enough to be the benefits of that deadly battle.

Seth went back and read through the notification from the beginning.

Ding!

[Gawee Cart evolving]

It took four days before its evolution to finish.

[Gawee Cart has improved to become Special Gawee Cart]

The special Gawee Cart function was simple, synchronization with Seth and his arms on a deeper level than before. Almost became an extension of one.

This means the horses, the red book, the staff, the azure attire, the Soothing Gourd, and everything owned by Seth has seamlessly synced with the Gawee.

Their functions were linked together.

More than anything, Seth was more linked to the cart than anything. It now was like an extension of him.
