After spending another half of the night, Rishi was finally able to collect all the necessary information that Sia has asked for.
And seeing those information, as dimwitted as he was, even Rishi could tell that something was wrong. Without further ado, he rushed into Sia's office.
"Shien, you were right. There is something off about this company. like you had asked, I checked the transaction history of this charity organization. This charity organization receives funds from several important figures from business sector, entertainment industry as well as the political field"
"This organization recieves a huge sum of amount as their charity and they indeed disitribute the amount to orphanages, less developed and backward places. I checked those orphanages and other field that recieves support from the charity and they were indeed gennuine"
"But that was only the first layer that was used to cheat the donors. After I investigated further I found out that after the amount was transferred to orphanages they were split into smaller amounts and further transferred to other accounts. Though in the report it was stated as paying for students living expenses, books and other stuff, we found out it was actually not. In short, these funds were divided and transferred to several minor accounts. And at one point, all these amount from the minor account was then transferred to a business account" Rishi explained while submitting proof.
"And this Business account must belong to one of the investors of the Pharmaceutical company and the investor is somehow connected to Mr. Pie, right?" Sia analysed
Heaving a long sigh, Rishi answered "Yeah, you are right as always. Anyways, this investors name is Wie Zhou An, Mr. Pie's maternal Uncle"
"Hmm...interesting" Just as Sia finished speaking, HK entered the office in a hurry and reported
"I checked the Research base of this Pharmaceutical company and found out something. This is an insider news, he said that even though they are responsible for experimenting and innovating drugs, the actual experiement on the drugs are carried out somewhere else. In other words, most of the drugs, esoecially those which are highly potent are never carried out in their base. Everyone there are aware of this but no one is willing to question or doubt the company"
It did not take long for Sia to understand the reason behind it.
"The drug experiment must be carried out in these illegal research bases. The best way to analyze drug reactions is through experimenting on humans which is unlawful. With those researchers having captives ranging from babies to adult, they might get the best drug analysis data while saving time, resources and finance"
"I can't believe how far human can go" Rishi sighed
"We couldn't save them, but we can atleast punish those who tormented them" HK sighed
"Rishi, HK, gather a team. Its time to end this cat-and-mouse game" Sia ordered

Looking at the three culprits in front, Sia smiled and asked "So, where shall we begin?"
Seeing that none of them had the intention to speak, Sia smiled and said "Sure, you can remain quiet. Now, I will start recounting the whole incident and your specific roles in the incident. you can still remain but...your silence will indirectly be taken as acceptance. You can deny the claims but you will have to give us the reason. Now, shall we start?"
few hours later, Sia was seen standing outside the station stretching her tired body. Looking up at the sky that was about to turn dark, Sia sighed "I can finally get some rest"
Now that the criminal was finally caught, she could finally wrap up this case. Even though there were still lot of things to take care off, Sia could not be bothered with them and left it for her teammates to take care off. After all, she had used too much of her brain these days, so it was only right for her teammates to do the hard work right?
Just as she was enjoying the breeze, she heard the horn of a car. Looking around, she finally noticed a familiar car parked not far away. The car was partially hidden and could not be seen properly from where she stood. Doubtfully, as she walked closer, she finally realised who the car belong to. With a smile, Sia made her way towards the car and hoped in. Looking at her little cutie, Sia could not help but grin "How come you are here?"
"Why else if not to pick you up?" John grinned. "I need to be careful even when picking you up"
Hearing which Sia simply smiled. fastening her seat belt, Sia asked "How did you know I would be out now?"
"Heh, do you think its a coincidence? I have been waiting outside for f***ing two whole hours for you" John groaned
"And who asked you to wait though? You could have just given me a call and asked when I would come out, just like you did in the past" Sia smile
Glancing at her from the corner of his eyes, John scoffed "Heh, do you think I want to? If not for certain someone's insistence, I wouldn't even be here"
"Whats wrong? Who forced our little cutie?" Sia smirked
"Who else other than your Habibi" John scoffed
"Mu Jun? No wonder you are here" Sia said with a look of realisation
"Hoho....you are speaking as if I never picked you up voluntarily?"
"I did not say that" Sia shrugged innocently as she turned to look at the window "So, why did he ask you to come pick me up instead of himself?"
Though she sounded indifferent, If one listened to Sia closely, one would hear a hint of disappointment in her tone.
"He said he had to go for an urgent business trip and wouldn't be back for a week. He was worried that you would be tired when you were done with your work so he asked me to pick you up and take care of you for the next few days" Noticing the disappointment on her face, he sighed.
"Stop making that face, it was not that he went there willingly. He has just started working at him family company and this was his first business trip so he cannot cancel it. Also, do you know how many time he had called me this morning? He has been calling since early morning asking me to deliver you breakfast, deliver you coffee, see if you were doing good and what not. Especially after the news of whatever Pie arrested was shown in the news, he had been calling me asking me to pick you up and if I had picked you up. Your man is simply annoying" John groaned
Hearing that Sia finally felt a little better. While gazing out of the window, she asked "When did he leave?"
"Yesterday evening" John responded
"That must be after he delivered the food" Sia muttered in a low voice.
She sometimes could not help but find it surreal that she was soo lucky to find such a boyfriend.
Was God compensating her for all the suffering she had been through?
