Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 146: Buying A Benz!

Sophia's heels clicked loudly as she led Hugo through the grand, glowing showroom. Each car they passed looked like it belonged in a music video or a blockbuster movie.

They all seemed to be silently laughing at him, daring him to check his bank account. But Hugo ignored their taunts, holding his head high.

He was on a mission, and no shiny hunk of metal was going to intimidate him.

She finally stopped in front of a jet-black Benz, its glossy surface reflecting the overhead lights like a mirror. It looked sleek, powerful, and expensive enough to make a grown man cry.

"This is our C-Class model," Sophia said with a polished smile, her hand gliding over the car's hood as if she were stroking a sleeping dragon.

"It's slightly above your budget, but it comes with premium leather seats, a state-of-the-art sound system, and the latest driving technology. Truly a steal."

Hugo's jaw dropped as he stared at the car. The Benz wasn't just a car—it was a statement. A declaration to the world that its owner had made it.

He imagined himself behind the wheel, windows down, sunglasses on, and the bass of his music thumping so hard that people would stop on the sidewalk just to catch a glimpse of him.

For a moment, he could even hear imaginary cheers in his head.

'This,' he thought, gawking dramatically at the car, 'this is it. This is the car of my dreams.'

"Nice," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. He opened the door and slid into the driver's seat, his hands gripping the leather steering wheel. The seats were comfy and of high quality.

"Oh yeah," he muttered, "I could definitely get used to this."

Sophia's smile didn't falter. "Shall we discuss the price?"

Hugo hesitated. He knew this was the part where things could go south.

He climbed out of the car, brushed invisible dust off his shirt, and cleared his throat, trying to look calm, though his wallet was already whispering desperate prayers in his pocket. "Uh, yeah. So, uh, how much are we talking?"

Sophia's expression remained as unreadable as ever. "This particular model is $28,000."

Hugo froze. His face didn't move, but his brain was screaming.

'Twenty-eight thousand?! That's not slightly above my budget; that's my budget's evil twin who grew up rich!'

He coughed, straightening his posture. "Ah, I see. Well, that's… an interesting number. Let's talk about bringing it down a notch, yeah?"

Sophia tilted her head slightly, as if she hadn't quite heard him. "We don't negotiate here, sir. The prices are fixed."

Hugo blinked. "Fixed? As in, not even a little wiggle room?"

"That's correct."

He took a deep breath, leaning casually against the car like he'd seen in those old sales movies.

"Alright, let's not get caught up in technicalities. Look at me. Do I look like a man who belongs in a cheap car?"

He spread his arms wide, flashing her his most confident grin. "I belong in this Benz. Me and this car? We're a perfect match. You can't put a price on destiny."

Sophia's face didn't budge. "Destiny or not, the price is $28,000."

Hugo frowned. "Okay, fine. What if I pay in cash? Like, all at once. Doesn't that earn me a discount?"

"It does not."

His mind raced. He couldn't lose this battle. He'd watched enough late night infomercials to know that persistence was key.

"Alright, alright," he said, pacing back and forth like a detective piecing together clues. "What if I promise to tell all my friends about this dealership? Free advertising. Huh? Pretty good deal, right?"

"We don't rely on word-of-mouth advertising, sir."

He stopped pacing, his eyes narrowing. "Alright, how about this: I throw in a signed picture of myself. Limited edition. Trust me, in a few years, that photo could be worth more than this car!"

Sophia didn't even blink. "That won't be necessary."

Hugo slumped against the car, defeated but not entirely broken. For a moment, he considered walking away.

But then he looked at the Benz again, sitting there like a trophy he couldn't give up on. 'No,' he thought. 'I didn't come this far just to lose.'

Straightening up, he pulled out his phone and pretended to scroll through some imaginary financial documents. "Alright, final offer: $25,000. Cash. Right now."

Sophia's calm expression didn't waver. "The price is $28,000."

Hugo groaned loudly, throwing his hands up. "You're like a brick wall! Do you ever give discounts? Ever?"

"No," she replied, her tone as steady as ever.

He sighed, defeated but still clinging to his pride. "Fine. You win. I'll take it. But just know this—when I drive out of here, it'll be the Benz that won me, not the other way around."

Sophia nodded, jotting something down on her clipboard. "Excellent choice, sir. I'll have the paperwork prepared."

As she walked off, Hugo muttered under his breath, "She's good. Too good." Then he glanced back at the Benz, a small smile creeping onto his face. "But you're worth it, baby."

...

Thirty minutes later, Hugo stepped out of the dealership, clutching the keys to his brand-new Benz.

His wallet felt lighter than air, and his soul ached just a little, but none of that mattered.

He approached the car with reverence, unlocking it with a satisfying beep. Sliding into the leather driver's seat which felt like a throne, he gripped the steering wheel like it was a crown.

Vrooom!

The engine purred to life, smooth and powerful, sending shivers of excitement down his spine.

"This," he whispered to himself, staring straight ahead, "this is the start of something big."

He revved the engine and pulled out of the dealership, his chest puffed up with pride. For the first time in his life, Hugo felt unstoppable.

He had bought a Benz!
