Xiao Yu finally compromised, but he demanded to have the first pick of any good items.

Xiao Yu was even more cautious than Lin Shen. Although he could navigate the area relying on his special talents and abilities, he still crawled on the ground, inching forward even more slowly than a slow-moving cow, almost as if taking three steps back for every step forward.

Every couple of crawls forward, he would vigilantly scan his surroundings. After a while, he was still far away from Duo, making Lin Shen somewhat anxious.

"If you keep going like this, even if there weren't any dangers originally, you might just attract some terrifying creatures," Lin Shen whispered harshly to Xiao Yu.

Xiao Yu ignored him but did speed up a little, still frustratingly slow.

Finally, when he crawled near Duo, he cautiously summoned cutlery and threw the Asura Blade at Duo. Only when Duo didn't react did he continue to crawl forward.

Fortunately, his worries didn't materialize; Duo really seemed as if dead, not reacting at all.

Xiao Yu searched him and quickly dug out many small items, taking everything he could before hurrying back.

"What are all these things?" Lin Shen looked at the items Xiao Yu had scavenged; a complete mess of assorted items.

The most numerous were items resembling Pet Capsules, red, green, blue, purple—they weren't real Pet Capsules, and it was unclear what they were.

The rest seemed like everyday use items, with no electronic devices found.

"How come you didn't take the watch from his wrist?" Lin Shen pointed at the watch on Duo's left wrist, saying that the item was most likely a communicator, or possibly a teleporter.

It might be connected to the Divine Being's network. Even if not connected, it could still hold some valuable information.

"It's locked; I couldn't take it off. I tried, but I couldn't break the strap, not even scratch it," Xiao Yu said helplessly.

"Forget it." Lin Shen picked up a capsule and carefully examined it for a while. He discovered that the top seemed to be a switch. He pressed it, but the capsule just beeped, emitting an electronic voice: "Non-binder verification, Space Capsule cannot be opened."

"So this thing is actually a Spatial Device?" Lin Shen was overjoyed.

He couldn't open it, but Duo's body was right there. Using Duo's body to unlock it would allow him to open the Spatial Device.

Lin Shen pressed all the Space Capsules, but most were already bound and couldn't be opened by others.

However, there were two Space Capsules that Lin Shen pressed and they opened. Inside the capsules was a white vortex, but nothing else was visible.

Lin Shen tipped it over, and suddenly various items fell out.

But these were just miscellaneous items, clothes, boots, socks, etc., and more and more clothing of various styles nearly buried Lin Shen.

After dumping out everything, that was all that was there.

Lin Shen then tipped another Space Capsule, and then various types of food ingredients and fruits appeared, looking very fresh.

"Divine Beings really are extravagant, using such good things to store clothes and food," Lin Shen said since there wasn't anything useful, he just put the items back.

Knowing it wasn't dangerous, he didn't need Xiao Yu anymore and went over to Duo himself.

Duo's face was pale, looking like a corpse in a funeral home, probably completely dead.

"This thing is so intelligent; I don't know if it can be opened by a corpse. If it can determine whether the binder is dead, that would be problematic," Lin Shen took a purple capsule and used Duo's hand to press it.

Lin Shen pressed Duo's finger on the Space Capsule button, then heard a click, and the Space Capsule opened.

Lin Shen was overjoyed, just thinking about using Duo's hand to press the other Space Capsules when he suddenly felt Duo's finger move.

Turning his head, Lin Shen saw that although Duo's eyes were still closed, the eyeballs beneath were moving as if about to wake up.

"He's not dead?" Lin Shen was shocked. His mind racing, he hurriedly stuffed back all the items into Duo's body, only keeping the capsule he had just opened, which he quietly pocketed.

"Duo… Duo…" Lin Shen tapped Duo's cheek and called out twice.

Duo's eyes slowly opened, and he actually came back to life.

"Duo, you're finally awake; it's so good you're okay. I thought you were dead," Lin Shen said, watching Duo sit up on his own and forcing a smile.

"Who are you?" Duo looked at Lin Shen with a hint of confusion.

"It's me, Tian. You and Uncle Xue once saved my life, don't you remember?" Lin Shen said.

Duo looked at Lin Shen for a long while without speaking, causing Lin Shen to feel a bit uneasy, before finally speaking, "I sort of remember, but some things are not very clear. Uncle Xue and I were attacked by Deformed Species. I was injured, and my brain seems to have been affected, I can't remember well."

"What injured you?" Lin Shen breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at Duo's appearance, it seemed it wasn't just a matter of unclear memory; that confused look in his eyes probably meant he couldn't remember many things.

"Could it be amnesia?" A thrill ran through Lin Shen's heart. Amnesia would be perfect. If Duo wasn't amnesic, Lin Shen would be worried he could tell his background wasn't legitimate.

"This isn't a place to talk. If the Deformed Species that injured you come back, that would be troublesome. Let's find a place to hide," Lin Shen reached out to help Duo, but Duo instinctively rejected his help.

"I can stand on my own," Duo stood up on his own, his mobility seemed fine, he was much faster than Lin Shen.

"Wait for me," Lin Shen struggled to keep up with his pace.

Duo frowned slightly, slowing down to wait for Lin Shen.

When they reached a corner and saw Xiao Yu, Xiao Yu immediately put on an innocent expression, "Hello, I'm Xiao Yu, his biological son."

Duo looked at Xiao Yu in surprise, then at Lin Shen, and then said, "It seems the variability in genetic inheritance is increasing, such an ordinary person can also have such an excellent child."

Xiao Yu immediately burst into laughter, casting a proud glance at Lin Shen.

Lin Shen coughed lightly and said, "Let's not talk so much anymore. We better find a safe place to hide first."
