Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 554: Not Over

The warrior class alien kicked Murmur's sword before blasting him away. Nidhogg and Jinwu immediately swept in from both sides. The alien kicked Nidhogg, cracking his scales. However, Jinwu was able to scorch its right arm.

Before he could get away, the alien grasped Jinwu and tossed him to Nidhogg so that both of them couldn't return for the time being.

Taking advantage of the distraction, the horseman of the apocalypse came from behind. The alien turned around to stop him, but it was too late. The rider had swung his sword, severing the alien's scorched arm.

The alien wanted to counterattack, but Noelle was there to stop him. She skillfully hit his legs, which forced him to stay in his position.

The alien reached Noelle with his hand, but Murmur had returned and deflected that arm.

Both he and Noelle then turned around and struck the alien's chest, leaving a burning flame and purple flash on its chest that erupted and finally cut through its skin. The blood spurted out of its body.

The alien kicked her in the head, shattering her helmet.

Instead of taking a step back and getting away, Noelle actually pushed forward and struck the alien in rapid succession as the flame erupted in three directions.

The scorched mark was left behind on the neck, which allowed Murmur to slice the alien's neck.

Obviously, the alien knew what would happen if Murmur cut his neck, so he desperately stopped it with his arm.

The sword pierced deep into his flesh but became stuck, which surprised Murmur. The horseman of the apocalypse reappeared from behind and struck this alien's arm, which prevented him from stopping anyone's attack anymore.

Seeing this chance, Noelle's eyes turned bloodshot as she dragged her sword with all her strength to send the alien's neck flying.

The moment they saw the flying head, Jinwu and Nidhogg burned it into ashes to ensure that the alien was dead.

The alien, who was already missing its head, finally fell to the ground.

"Ha… Ha…" Noelle panted a few times, her eyes couldn't escape from the alien's corpse. She had never thought it was possible.

It was true that Jinwu, Nidhogg, Asmodeus, and Sera had helped her. However, if she had to compare it with Flora and her five spirits, the former was still a bit weaker.

But the fact that she could kill this alien meant she had actually gotten stronger. Murmur, now having escaped from the restraint of Noelle's previous fighting style, could show his true worth. The horseman of the apocalypse brought the element of surprise that she lacked.

Once she got accustomed to fighting with her familiars, she might get even stronger. In the end, whether she fought alongside her familiars or not, people only thought she was the one who killed that alien, so it didn't really matter.

"Huu…" Noelle let out a long breath.

"It's tiring, but shouldn't we help them?" Murmur pointed at the other warrior class alien.

Instead of checking their condition, Noelle simply glanced at Nidhogg and Jinwu, who remained in their position. She said, "No. There's no need to."

If Nathan recalled his familiars, they should help immediately. However, the fact that Jinwu and Nidhogg were still here meant Nathan had the situation under control.

"Thank you for your hard work. Get some rest for now. I'm afraid we'll be fighting again soon."

As Noelle thought, Nathan and the others didn't need any help. In fact, because of her help, they managed to have Flora become the focus of this fight.

She skillfully handled the warrior class alien's attack together with the others.

The warrior class alien stomped the ground to create multiple craters on the battlefield, sent forth giant tentacles, and smashed some familiars, but it was useless.

Anubis maintained his position on the back, healing everyone.

Other familiars worked together in order to fend off his attack or injure him.

It didn't take too long for Fenrir to actually bite the alien's arm and tear it apart.

The lamia sliced one of its wings while the fire spirit burned the other one.

The alien struggled desperately with his club and tentacles, but to no avail. It was frustrating enough to have the other warrior class alien die, but him not being able to do anything against these familiars angered him to death.

In the end, Selena and Flora combined their attack and hit the alien's stomach, creating a massive hole.

Alavenya, Nathan, and the plant spirit stopped the arm from hitting everyone with the club while the earth spirit, Amphitrite, and Yin Zhen stopped the tentacles.

Without being able to fight back anymore, Flora and Selena hit the alien's head and crushed it with their extraordinary firepower.

The blood spurted like rain as that massive body fell to the ground. When the soldiers saw it, they couldn't help but cheer. They had won.

All they had to do was clear up the battlefield.

Nathan delegated Alavenya for this task since he and Flora were exhausted from fighting the mature class aliens while Selena had used a lot of ena for eliminating the other mature class aliens.

When Nathan returned to the inside of the formation, the people were cheering for him.

"We won."

"We won!"

"Your Highness Flora!"

"Young Hero Nathan."

Flora chuckled when she heard those praises. She teased Nathan, "Hero, they say. Cough. There are a lot of fairy tales about the heroes. Do you know what the ending is?"

If only Nathan was in the mood for a joke, he would reply to her. However, Nathan's concern was on the battlefield.

"I don't care. Tell the soldiers to get ready to leave the moment we kill those aliens. Anubis will heal them on the way. Have everyone help each other."

Flora looked at Nathan with a pout. "We've won. Can't you relax for a bit?"

"If I were to do that, how many people would lose their lives? And I'm not even talking about the soldiers here."

"Huh?" Flora tilted her head in confusion.

"Our battle was pretty big, right?"

"Yes."

"When you had such a big battle, shouldn't you check it?"

"Check… who?" Flora raised her head, gazing at the hills in the distance. "Ah!"

That was right. There was supposed to be a base over there. They should have sent reinforcements with such a battle. The ruckus alone would definitely be heard from a distance.

The fact they hadn't sent anyone out meant they were either engaging an enemy or wiped out.

Nathan sighed. "Get ready. Our battle is not over yet."
