Chapter 165: The villain position is his

No one said anything and all of them kept praying as they saw the sword of light smash into the darkness.

Yet there was no doubt Brook, who wanted to move up, decided to back down since he knew this wasn't his stage.

Meanwhile, Chopper had his mouth wide open, watching Masa's strength for the second time.

Kureha... well, she knew well that being obedient was the best path for all of them, but unfortunately, some people were just so stupid.

Meanwhile, Vivi and Igaram were shocked when they saw Masa's strength.

However, there was no doubt for the civilians of this kingdom that Masa's appearance during their darkest moments was their hope, and he was the only one who could save them from this crisis.

"How radiant..."

Unlike before, this light was so gentle in their eyes, but in the eyes of the group of five, it was a terror!

"GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

The other four were directly swallowed by the sword of light, but the man with the power of darkness held on for a while before his body was burnt by the light.

The heat of the light, the purification effect, and the impact that came from the solidified light swung at the skill of the highest swordsmanship, creating a disaster-like effect.

The sky, clouds, and sea were divided in half, yet Masa's eyes had always been focused on the tiny darkness that tainted his sword of light.

Marshall D. Teach.

While learning medicine and getting a Chopper were good reasons to stay, as Masa had solved all of them, he should have left and continued with his journey, but he decided to stay, and the answer to all of that was due to this person.

The most unique person with a strange lineage.

Yes, while Masa felt that it was unfair, he knew well that if someone had come from a famous individual lineage, it would give them more benefits.

In the easiest example, one with good-looking parents would naturally inherit their good-looking appearance, too, right?

The world worked like that, and Teach came from a unique lineage that allowed him to eat two Devil Fruits, which allowed him to become one of the strongest people on the ocean.

As for Teach's followers?

Well, they were good, but that's it, and his target had always been Marshal D. Teach.

So, should he devour Teach?

Or should he replicate Teach's DNA?

Still, if he devoured Teach, Masa would gain the power of Yami Yami no Mi.

'Yami Yami no Mi.'

When Masa thought of this Devil Fruit, he had to say it was okay as it didn't make Teach become the most powerful existence.

Even if Teach had such a Devil Fruit, he would run away when he met Akainu and other admirals rather than fighting them.

Yet, there was no doubt that the power of the darkness was quite tempting, he thought, and it was much faster to devour Teach directly than to do deep research about Teach's body.

'It might take months or more...'

Still, as one of the villains that would appear at the end, Teach was tougher and could hold on even if his entire body was breaking.

"Stop! Stop! It was our fault! I didn't know that it was your ship! If I knew that it was yours, then I wouldn't have done anything! Let's stop fighting, okay? This is our misunderstanding! I am just here for a doctor! I am hurt! I just want to cure my disease!"

As Teach begged while crying, he tried to observe Masa, the one who had attacked him so suddenly without any precautions with an all-out attack. Still, he couldn't help but curse his luck, wondering how he had met such a troublesome opponent.

'That sword of light... don't tell me that he has eaten the Pika Pika no Mi...'

The death of Kizaru wasn't something that could be hidden from the world, and everyone knew about it, yet Teach had never expected that someone had eaten the Pika Pika no Mi.

Naturally, Teach knew how powerful this Devil Fruit was, and he would be lying if he wasn't tempted by it, but then again, one Logia was enough, as it was complicated to develop it. The best Devil Fruit for him was the simple yet the most destructive, and he knew which Devil Fruit he should take, so he should refrain from having a fight between them.

At the same time, he would be lying if he wasn't tempted to get Masa by his side.

Young, powerful, and also smart.

If he wasn't wrong, he could tell that Masa should have developed the supreme ship that made him in love.

'If I can get him...'

Yet, as Teach was full of delusion, Masa started to question himself.

Why should he overthink?

Even with the death of Kizaru, Masa never thought much of it and even killed him, then gained the Devil Fruit, so why should he hesitate when it was the case with Teach?

Was he affected by the will of the world?

Masa shook his head, thinking he thought too much, and he also wondered why he hesitated.

So, what if Teach was the last villain or what?

'Well, if the world wishes to, I can become the villain, too.'

Still, if he was the villain, then the savior might not be able to do anything, though.

At the same time, frankly, the more Teach begged, the more suspicious Masa became, as he could imagine that Teach might stab him in the back.

"Really?"

"Yeah! Yeah! I won't do anything! I am just asking someone to help me to cure my disease!"

Inwardly, Teach thought that this young man was so naive, yet even so, his act was so real; he appeared so desperate, telling Masa that he was just afraid of dying and wanted to cure himself.

'Hmm... if he is so naive... then can I attack him? Moreover, the Pika Pika no Mi isn't bad.'

When Teach thought about the speed that he could gain and also that sword of light, the light of greed in his eyes couldn't be hidden. Fortunately, he bowed his head repeatedly, telling Masa that he wanted to live.

"Please! I just want to ask Dr. Kureha to cure my disease! I—"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!

The intense light burst out once again, piercing the sky, creating a gigantic light of sword once again.

Yet, this stumped Teach, wondering what was happening.

Eh?

Why did Masa use this technique again?

Also, shouldn't it be used only once?

Shouldn't the ultimate attack only be used once?

Why the heck could Masa use it so many times?!

Yet, Masa ignored Teach's feelings and compressed all the light into his gigantic sword of light, then swung it once again at Teach.

"Ah..."

Teach was dumbfounded, watching the gigantic sword of light that fell onto him once again.

Was his dream ending just like this?

End, without him being able to do anything?

Was that it?

"FUUUUCCKKK! I WON'T DIE! I STILL HAVEN'T BECOME THE PIRATE KING! ONE PIECE IS MINE!"

Fate had chosen him, and he was the one, so how could he die just like this, especially against someone who wasn't even chosen by fate?

The darkness of his body spread once again, absorbing all the light that was about to annihilate him.

His desire, dream, and everything!

Teach wouldn't end just like this!

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The darkness grew and fought fiercely against the light, yet even so, the impact was so great that Teach's body might crumble at any moment.

However, he stood!

"I won!"

Teach showed a fierce and arrogant expression, showing his victory against Masa's light!

Yet, Masa just calmly created another gigantic sword of light.

"..." Teach.

"..." Everyone.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
