Star Citizen Online: Isekai Edition

Chapter 157: Returning Back to Academy

Asurya Star System, Imperial Star Domain, Phoenix Star Sector, Starflame Star Segment, Phoenix Star Region, North-Western Galactic Quadrant

Several weeks later, Obscurus managed to reach the Phoenix Prime, the throne world of the Eternal Empire of the Asurya, and were already landing down in one of the space docks. The space docks, as usual, were swarming with countless starships that were coming in and out as the number of starships that could land down on the planet could be counted on one hand.

Originally, Arcturus wanted to hire some company to rework and upgrade the overall structure of the Obscurus, but that was now postponed because of the more pressing matters that they needed to handle.

Not to mention, he was right now without the financial capabilities to sustain such reconstruction as it would be extremely pricey. Initially, he planned to negotiate with the Imperial Government to do it in exchange for the Pseudo Bug Queen and Brain Bug, but those ideas were then scrapped...

Most importantly, they needed to meet with the representatives of Starlight Drive Yard Industries about the supply of the Dark Matter Energy Generators to Starlight Drive Yard Industries.

Additionally, there was also a scheduled meeting with the Headmaster of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy about the mission to the Ziras IV, as the mission itself was certainly a debacle from a certain point of view.

During the two weeks that they were on the journey, the lady received the news from the General Manager Centarus that the factory was semi-operational and they would be starting to produce the Dark Matter Energy Generators of the lowest tier.

The ones at the lowest were relatively easy to build, and they would be sold to the Mid-Level Civilizations and Mid-Level Star Nations and perhaps even some of the Low-Level Factions if they had some precious resources.

This would be their primary source of income, so they were in a hurry to finish all of the preparations as fast as possible. Right now, they were progressing even faster than their original plan, which was...

Obviously, only welcomed.

The sooner they could start production, the better for them, as right now, the Voidfuse Company seriously needed more money for the expansion and consolidation of their position. And this wasn't mentioning the money that would be needed for the establishment of the proper PMC.

Even though Zehal managed to negotiate with the Imperial Government rather good conditions and they secured a loan that was essentially interest-free from the Imperial Government in the size of one billion Universal Credits, there were several conditions attached.

It was most obvious that the Imperial Government wouldn't be providing them with a billion Universal Credits out of the clear sky. Right now, the Imperial Government provided them with the phase one loan in the sum of one hundred million Universal Credits.

Once they spent that amount and everything in the accounting was all right, the Imperial Government would loan them another three hundred million Universal Credits, and once the process repeated itself, they would get the remaining six hundred million Universal Credits.

Because they were talking about relatively huge sums of money, there were pretty strict regulations when it came to the government-sponsored loans. Yet, even from the initial 100 million Universal Credits, almost more than half was already spent on the factories at the Ziras IV and resources for the Dark Matter Energy Generators.

A few million would fall on salaries and employee benefits, which would be another big item on the list. Once again, the expertise of General Manager Declar has shown itself, as the man was pretty smart and due to his experience and skills he has already saved them several million in costs.

Which was a very pleasant thing to hear.

Having a good and competent employee in charge of their most important project was something that was making him sleep well at night.

"So, where are we heading at first?"

Arcturus looked at Zehal and Jeniael as they disembarked from the starship into the Space Docks that were above the orbit of the planet.

Normally speaking, even he wasn't allowed to land down with the starship on the throne world without paying a fee, so he left the starship in the spacedock, while they would take the Space Elevator to the planet.

"We should go back to check in the Academy and claim the points. Meetings with the Executives of the Starlight Drive Yard Industries could wait."

Zehal stated abbd Arcturus didn't have much problem with the division of things.

They took the space elevator back to the Phoenix Prime, more precisely to the Capital City of Celestara where the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy was located.

During the negotiations, they managed to get 100,000 Academy Points for every one of them, which was a great deal. For the hundred thousand Academy Points, Arcturus would be able to buy tons of resources and properly help him to a much higher Grade.

He already planned to buy Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum and perhaps even Beta-Grade Physical Strengthening Serum. Contrary to the delepoemetn of his Psionic Energy, because he was taking the easier way out on his Warrior Path, this was of no consequence for him.

Physical Strengthening Serums were a shortcut to obtaining a stronger Physique, and because Arcturus was primarily focusing on the Psionic Energy, he didn't mind using the Physical Strengthening Serums to advance through his Warrior Grades and strengthen his physique.

Fortunately, the Eternal Empire of Asurya had some of the most advanced Physical Strengthening Serums in the Cosmos, according to what his master told him, because the primary focus of the Imperium was on Genetical Engineering.

With the amount of the points he would receive from the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, it sounded feasible that he would be able to buy both Gamma-Grade and Beta-Grade Physical Strengthening Serum and elevate his physical capabilities to the Beta-Grade straight away.

And everything shouldn't be longer than a few weeks.

Among their group, Zehal planned to mimic this approach because this was the best way to increase her power in a very short time and especially increase her survivability. However, she would use Universal Credits to buy the Physical Strengthening Serum through her family's connection.

What was rather interesting was that the Physical Strengthening Serums that he and Zehal were planning to buy were of the highest quality. On the free market, they were being sold for a really exorbitant price.

Soon enough, all three of them arrived back at the premises of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy as they went to the Mission Administration Department to redeem their rewards for the Arachnid Extermination Mission to the Ziras IV.

As was agreed, all four of them received 100,000 Academy Points to their student accounts and also got their Credits for the semester this one and the next one, because they accomplished an almost impossible mission.

Once they got their Academy Points, everyone went to select what they wanted.

Jeniael was going to consume everything in one go because she was someone who was practicing the most old-fashioned way of the Warrior Path, and that was one of the hellishly expensive things to do.

Arcturus had already spoken with his two companions about the planets whose coordinates he had found, and both of them were rather interested in exploring them.
