Chapter 317: Lena
"What the hell are you even saying now? You aren't even making any sense right now," Aaron said.
"Aaron, I'll say this once and only once—let us go now, leave the girl, and walk," Silva said. He balled his fists.
"Bro, let's take a breather now," Sage spoke.
"Sage, are you standing with him right now?" Silva asked, his eyes boring a hole through her soul. She subconsciously took a step back.
Silva's eyes were already glowing. He looked at all of them, not knowing why they were acting like this all of a sudden.
"Silva, please, calm down," Lia said. She tried to walk close to him and calm him down, but Silva looked at her, and she froze in fear. His gaze caused her to shiver.
"Amber, are you coming or not?" Silva asked.
"I am," she said and walked toward Silva. As she did, Silva noticed that Ranin frowned a bit. Silva saw that, and all his mind said one thing:
"Kill the girl."
He immediately pulled out his sword and pointed it at her. "She dies now," he said in a low tone.
"Silva, what the hell? Get a hold of yourself now! You can't just kill her over the disagreement we're having," Aaron said.
"Watch me," Silva said. He took a step forward, and all of them blocked him—Fay, Sage, Lia, Leah, and Aaron.
"Get out of my way," Silva said.
"Not going to happen, bro," Aaron said. His wings came out and started flapping at a crazy speed. He shot into the air and pointed his hand at Silva to cast a spell.
A massive formation formed under Silva, Dawn, and Amber, but suddenly, Silva vanished. Aaron was shocked—he looked around but couldn't find Silva.
Silva then appeared above him, his face completely pissed off. He slashed down with so much force that it would chop Aaron in half.
Aaron made a last-minute call to cover himself with wind, managing to slow the sword down for a moment and reduce the impact force, but the blade still hit Aaron and sent him to the ground.
A deep gash was on his back, blood pouring out like a fountain. But Aaron got back on his feet. As a fairy, he had a very good healing factor, so the cut began healing.
Silva came down to the ground, his eyes focused on Aaron, but then a huge ice lance shot toward him. The clone suddenly moved and smashed the ice lance with a punch.
"Thank you. Make sure none of their attacks get to me—I want to handle Aaron myself. He's really pissing me off right now."
The clone smiled and looked at them. "Why don't you lot come fight me? I'll keep you busy while Silva beats up Aaron," the clone said and started walking toward them, but Aaron tried to block the clone.
A punch landed on Aaron's face. He flipped in the air and landed on the ground. Silva picked up Aaron from the ground and chucked him into a wall with so much force that he broke through it.
The people inside ran out of their house, running in all directions, starting a panic. Silva walked into the house, picked Aaron up like a ragdoll, and dragged him outside.
The clone was busy fighting the others as they tried to protect Ranin. Silva made another clone. "Get her," he ordered.
The clone ran there, faster than any of them could blink, and brought Ranin to Silva.
Silva grabbed her with one hand and grabbed Aaron with the other.
"Silva, you can't do this, you can't," Aaron said.
Silva smashed his face into the ground and chucked him over to the others. Sage managed to catch him so he didn't hit the ground.
The first clone came and stood beside Silva with the second one. Silva held Ranin by her face and looked her right in the eye.
"Are you going to reveal yourself, or should I crack your skull first?" he asked in a cold, detached tone.
"What the hell are you doing, Silva?!" Lia screamed at him, but he didn't care. He started adding pressure to Ranin's head slowly.
Ranin squealed and thrashed around, struggling, tears streaming down her face. Her eyes begged Silva to let her go, but he didn't. Instead, he kept going until blood leaked from her mouth and nose.
"Fine! Enough!" Ranin suddenly yelled and vanished from Silva's hand. She appeared in the air, floating.
Everyone looked in shock. What the hell was happening?

"You know, you really are something. You found out that this innocent little girl was something else? That's really awesome," Ranin said.
"I didn't know what you were. I was going to leave you because, after all, you've survived for so long with your brother. You can definitely survive alone—and with the money I gave you.
"But when my people started acting different because of you, it shocked me. Why would they fight me because of a little girl? It didn't make sense to me.
"Finally, when Amber walked over to me and you frowned, I saw that. And that was when I knew you were the cause of what was happening," Silva said.
"Sigh, I guess this form is no longer important to me," Ranin said.
Her body transformed into a beautiful purple-haired lady, blessed with an ample shape. She was dressed scantily, as if to seduce.
"My name is Lena, the Mage of a Thousand Spells, the master of all dark magic. I got word of you coming this way, and I came here to infiltrate you and your party.
"I even set up this elaborate plan to get my brother killed and then use magical manipulation to make you all care for me and take me along.
"It was going so well… until the dragon pride had to kick in and destroy everything. What a bummer," Lena said.
"I see, so that is what happened." Silva said, he finally understood why everything happened the way it did.
