Spider-Verse: The Web of Deception.

Chapter 10: Chapter 9 : The Game Begins.

The Night is Long and t he city streets felt different.

Tobey's Spider-Man had spent countless nights perched above New York, the comforting hum of the city filling his senses. But tonight, the silence felt heavier, as if something was waiting, watching.

He couldn't explain it, but every shadow seemed like it could hold something sinister.

And then, it happened again.

A whisper.

Not on the wind this time, but in the back of his mind.

"I'm always watching."

Peter stiffened, his senses exploding. He spun around, but there was no one there. Not even a flicker of movement. It was as though the city had gone still, as if it were holding its breath.

He clenched his fists.

Who is doing this?

There was no answer.

But the feeling remained—this wasn't just paranoia. Something was coming. Something bigger than him, something far more dangerous than any villain he'd faced.

Earth-120703 – Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man :

Andrew's Spider-Man had always believed he could handle anything. After all, he'd taken down the Lizard, Electro, and even fought the Rhino. But this—this was different.

The man in the white suit, the cryptic messages, the sense of being watched—it all had a weight to it that Andrew couldn't shake off.

He had tried to convince himself that it was just a coincidence, that he was overreacting. But deep down, he knew it wasn't.

Tonight, he found himself at the same warehouse again. The SUV was still parked there, but now there were shadows moving around it.

He crouched low, creeping toward the entrance. His heart raced. His Spider-Sense buzzed, warning him of danger. But he pressed on.

His breath hitched when he saw them.

A group of men, all dressed in dark suits, surrounding a figure in white.

The man from before.

He was standing there, watching Andrew with cold, calculating eyes.

And for the first time in his life, Andrew felt a shiver crawl down his spine.

Earth-199999 – Tom Holland's Spider-Man :

Peter swung through the city, the familiar hum of his suit buzzing as he navigated the urban landscape. He had no idea what he was walking into, but his instincts were screaming that it was something big.

The warehouse from earlier had become the focal point of his investigation. There was a connection between the strange note and the ominous man in white, and Peter was determined to figure it out.

He landed softly on the roof of a nearby building, watching the warehouse below.

And then he saw it.

A group of familiar faces.

It was the same group he'd been tracking in his world—the group from Andrew's world.

But they weren't just standing around anymore. They were waiting for something.

Suddenly, the man in white appeared again.

Peter's heart raced.

He was so close.

The Web Tightens

Doflamingo watched with amusement.

The pieces were falling into place. The Spider-Men were beginning to understand the pull, the strings that had been set in motion. But they still didn't know who was really behind it all.

He admired their persistence, but he wasn't concerned.

Not yet.

"Soon, you'll be playing my game."

He leaned back in his chair, watching the Spider-Men across the three worlds move, unknowingly following the path he had set for them. The first test had gone well.

And now?

Now, it was time to bring them together.

The First Meeting:

The night stretched on, and the tension between the worlds was building. But in the heart of Doflamingo's web, a new plan was forming.

Tonight would be the night.

Earth-96283 – Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man

Peter felt a sharp tug in his chest, the air thick with an unfamiliar presence. His Spider-Sense went haywire as he swung through the city. There was something—someone—waiting for him.

The shadows twisted around him, and for a moment, he thought he saw something shift in the darkness. His heart raced as he prepared for the inevitable fight.

But then—he saw them.

Three figures standing in the middle of a quiet street.

"It's time," the man in white said, his voice calm but laced with an edge.

Peter's blood ran cold.

The figures weren't just any people. They were the other Spider-Men.

"What is this?" Peter demanded.

Andrew stepped forward, his face a mask of confusion and wariness. "I don't know how we got here. But I think we're all being pulled into the same thing."

Tom followed, his eyes wide with a mix of excitement and disbelief. "This doesn't feel like a coincidence. Do you think someone's manipulating us?"

Peter's mind raced. Could this be the beginning of the end? Were they all being controlled, led into a trap?

"You are being watched," the man in white whispered, stepping closer. "And soon, you'll be part of something much larger than you can understand."

A heavy silence fell between them, the weight of his words pressing down on the Spider-Men. The man in white smiled.

"Welcome to the game."

The Mastermind Revealed

Doflamingo watched the meeting unfold on the screens before him, a smirk on his face.

The Spider-Men were finally in the same place. And now, they would see the scope of his power.

He pressed a button, and the screens flickered, showing a map of the three worlds.

One by one, he was pulling the threads tighter.

"Let the real game begin."
