Erza: Who are you?

??? : My name is Lahar. I am the commander of the Magic Council's army. We're here to arrest a criminal among you.

We all looked in one direction, to see Jellal, who had lowered his head.

Lahar: This person is you, Jellal.

Jellal approached, holding out his hands, surrendering without resistance. They put handcuffs on him and directed him toward a cart that served as a cell. Just as he was about to enter...

Natsu (intervening): He's not going anywhere!

Lucy: Natsu!!!

Gray: Idiot, what are you doing?!

We were all surprised that Natsu was trying to stop them from taking Jellal. Erza was silent.

Natsu: You can't just leave like this, and have you thought about Erza? She'll be sad again if you leave.

I appeared next to Natsu and used a pushback with my lightning energy.

Me: Well, at this point, Natsu won't stop, so it's better to finish the job, don't you think?

Gray (placing his hands together to use his magic): Unfortunately, you're not wrong, and I don't want to see Erza depressed either.

We all began to resist until...

Erza (shouting): Enough!

Everyone stopped and looked at Erza.

Erza: Sit down!

Natsu (kneeling): O-ok.

Jellal smiled and entered the cell. Before they could close the door, there was a flash, and he said to Erza:

After that, the Council guards left with their carts. A few minutes passed, and Erza had isolated herself a bit on a hill. We waited for her to finish before heading to Cait Shelter to meet up with the other guilds. The sunrise left a scarlet sky that day, just like the color of her hair. We were all sitting in the forest, and I was lying on a stone with Wendy, whose eyes were fixed on the sky. I understood her; her friend had just been arrested, and she was probably lost in thought. She stood up and seemed to be going somewhere.

Carla: Wendy, where are you going?

Wendy: I won't go far, don't worry.

She headed toward the hill where Erza had gone, I suppose to support her since she understood her pain.

We all gathered at Cait Shelter, celebrating the success of our mission with the whole alliance. We were all gathered in front of the village entrance, getting ready to leave. I avoided asking questions to the Master. I don't know why, but it would have spoiled the mood.

Wendy: Do you promise you'll come back?

Natsu: Of course, we'll come whenever you want.

Ichiya was showing off again, trying to get us all to dance. Strangely, the Master of Cait Shelter and all the other villagers weren't dancing, which stopped the others.

Master Lowbawl: Sorry to ruin the mood, but I just realized we haven't been honest with all of you.

He began to explain the true history of Nirvana, how the Nirvites fell with it, and how he stopped it from being activated.

Lowbawl: This has truly been the worst mistake of my life, but at least I was happy to fulfill the wishes of two people: Sonic and Wendy.

The others looked at me, arms crossed, and Wendy, who was shocked.

Lowbawl: I fulfilled their wishes by creating a guild and people with whom you could live.

A minute of silence followed this revelation.

Me: Why...

The Master looked at me.

Me: Why didn't you at least remind Wendy who I was since my sudden disappearance? I was lost, didn't know what to do before joining Fairy Tail.

Lowbawl: Do you remember the lightning that struck the village that day?

It wasn't just a simple lightning bolt. It was an explosion of magical energy from elsewhere that erased the memory of several of us. It even destroyed some of my illusions.

Suddenly, he began to glow, and so did all the other villagers, except for Wendy and Carla. The villagers disappeared one by one. Wendy ran toward each of them, but they all vanished. Only the Master remained, beginning to evaporate.

Lowbawl: Now, my time has come. I now entrust Wendy and Carla to you.

Wendy (in tears, running toward him): Master, don't go.

She collapsed beside Carla, who was also crying. We all remained silent, tears starting to fall from my cheeks, but I curled up into a ball, trying to hide. Lucy picked me up and gently stroked my spines.

It was at that moment that Erza placed her hand on her shoulder.

Erza: We all suffer when we lose a dear friend. But don't worry, your friends are here for you. Come with us, your place is with Fairy Tail now.
