"No, no… it's not…" Izuna was speechless. He couldn't find the right words to respond.
For a moment, Izuna felt confused inside. Because every word Arata Senju said… was right. And it made sense.
If his father had followed what Arata was saying, then yes… peace might have been possible. But he and his father had already made their decision. They never wanted peace with the Senju.
Why? Even if it was his brother's dream… why?
Because the hatred for the Senju Clan was too deep inside them. His mother had been killed by them… right in front of his eyes. And he could do nothing. After a while, his father came and killed the man responsible. But from that moment, his hatred for the Senju only grew stronger.
That's why he couldn't accept peace. He hated them.
Yes, he had planned for this. He wanted his brother to wipe out the Senju and dominate the world. The Uchiha were already powerful enough. Once they won the war, they could bring peace through force. That way, he could achieve two things at once—revenge on the Senju and fulfilling Madara's dream of world peace.
But now…
He started thinking, Was I wrong this whole time? Did I cause the deaths of my own clansmen, one after another?
For the first time, Izuna felt guilt.
Madara sighed. "Yes… If I had made peace with Hashirama back then… If I had become clan leader… so many of our people wouldn't have died."
Madara clenched his fist. "It really is our fault, isn't it?"
He looked at Arata. "I wanted to protect my clan. My people. And most of all, my younger brother. But because of my own stubbornness, I kept fighting Hashirama. And in the end… my own people suffered for it."
He exhaled and nodded. "Child, your idea… of building a place where we can protect our own people, our own families… It's not just your idea. It's what I wanted. What your father, my friend Hashirama, wanted. The peace we dreamed of. A world where our children can grow up without fear… That's always been our dream, hasn't it?"
Hashirama smiled brightly and nodded.
Even Tobirama, who had always been cautious of the Uchiha, agreed. After all, deep inside, even he was tired of war. He had lost too many people.
You might be wondering… Why is Madara agreeing so easily?
But this Madara… this version of Madara… is still young. He is not the Madara who fell into the manipulation of Black Zetsu. He is still the Madara who longs for peace, just like Hashirama does.
Hashirama laughed. "Haha! My son, you did good! You really said something amazing, you know?"
He looked at Arata with pride in his eyes. He had scolded his son earlier… but now, hearing his words, he felt proud.
Even Tobirama, standing behind him, looked at his nephew with admiration. He had always been cautious, but now… even he wanted peace.
Arata looked at Madara and Izuna with serious eyes.
"Uncle Madara. Izuna. Do you agree with me? Let's build a place together. A new home. A place where everyone can live without hatred."
Madara glanced at his younger brother.
Because no matter what… Madara always cared about Izuna the most. He couldn't make this decision alone. He needed his brother's thoughts.
Arata… just like Hashirama, was a foolish optimist. And Izuna… was the smart one. The one who used his brain.
Just like Hashirama had Tobirama…
As Arata spoke, Izuna finally found his voice.
"Brother... maybe I was wrong. All this time… If I had let you—if Father and I had allowed you to fight Hashirama—maybe our clan wouldn't have suffered so much. Maybe no one would have died..."
He took a deep breath. "I've heard it before, you know… from our own clansmen. Many of them wanted peace. They never wanted to fight. But I ignored them. I didn't care."
Izuna clenched his fists. "Now that I think about it… Father and I… we were the ones who caused all of this."
He looked down, guilt weighing on his heart. "I just realized… this revenge… this endless fighting… if we keep going, it'll only bring more pain. More hatred. More death."
Izuna turned to Madara, his voice shaking. "Brother… I'm sorry. I've been blind to your dream all these years. Let's talk about peace."
For a moment, Madara just stared at him.
Madara had always loved peace, deep down. He fought because he had no choice. Because he believed power was the only way to protect his clan.
Hearing these words from Izuna… Madara's heart ached.
Madara looked at his younger brother, his expression softening. "It doesn't matter, Izuna. What matters is that you understand now. And it's not too late."
Madara loved his younger brother more than anything. If Izuna had asked him to give up on peace and keep fighting, he would have done it. He would have thrown away his own dreams… just for his brother.
That was the love of the Uchiha.
They were willing to give up everything—dreams, hopes, even their lives—for the people they loved.
But when that love was lost… it turned into something else.
A curse.
A twisted love… that became hatred which awaken power inside them .....Mangekyu sharingan.
Madara smiled as he saw his brother agreeing to peace—to his dream.
With Madara accepting peace, Hashirama grinned and said, "Madara, we were friends before. We are friends now. And we will be friends in the future!"
He stretched out his hand. "Let's work together to bring peace to the entire Shinobi world. Let's end this war!" Hashirama said excitedly.
Madara glanced at Izuna, who gave him a small nod. Seeing his brother approve of his dream… Madara felt at peace. He stepped forward and shook hands with Hashirama.
Arata, watching this, was overjoyed.
No more war between Uchiha and Senju!
If he could merge the two clans, their strength would shake the entire world. And most importantly… he could finally marry an Uchiha girl!
This is perfect. This is what everyone wants. This is the best situation for all! Arata thought with satisfaction.
He grinned as he watched Madara and Hashirama shake hands, sealing their alliance.
Then, he spoke up.
"Uncle Madara, since our families are now connected, I think we can take it a step further!" Arata said with a smile. "Of course, it's just a suggestion. It's up to you."
After all, he had to make sure his real goal was achieved. The whole reason he wanted this peace in the first place.
Finally, his dream of marrying an Uchiha girl could come true!
Hashirama and Tobirama both turned to Arata, looking surprised—and a little confused.
What is this kid planning now?
But they didn't stop him.
After all, because of him, peace was happening.
So, maybe… … he was about to say something wise again.
