Edward doesn't understand the pricing standard behind the system. To him, [Endless Spring] seems more useful than [Bag Of Holding], but perhaps he is being too situational with it. He also remembered this Memory appearing in the original book. Currently, under it is in the position of Cassie, right? The blind girl.

Not only that he has a faint feeling that the system's product ranking works pretty differently from this world is one. After all Dormant Rank kills Awakened Beasts with one punch at least that's what level he believes crabies at when he recalls them from his memory.

'So expensive. There won't be too much improvement even if I upgraded though.' In the end, Edward decided to upgrade the soul anyway.

Edward felt a warm current rushing through his body enhancing it even further, as he felt the little cold he was feeling disappear like it never existed before. "Great, now I can feel even more safer with it."

Description: Sequence 9 of Tyrant Pathway. It's an upgradable soul but upgrading it will allow it to ascend to the next sequence but doesn't exactly mean the rank of the soul will be upgraded.

[Phantom Scales]: As a sailor you are a sea creature like many other creatures so the sea decided to bless you with illusory scales under your skin like all the other children of the sea to protect you from any harm.

[Physical Enhancement]: The ocean is a merciless creature even to its children. This is why a strong body and great balance are must-haves for any sailor.

[Aquatic Attributes]: As a child of sea of course you will gain some privileges under the water such as having an easier time holding your breath underwater and swimming faster.

[Night Vision]: The depth of the sea is dark so it blessed you with a vision that penetrates that darkness.

He turned around while looking at the fading pale light of the sun and eagerly rising dark sea he couldn't help but whisper to himself:

"It would be rather unfair to not have Tyrant Pathway when you are wandering middle of the ocean."

"Hey look, I still got money for myself to buy some weapon."

Because he doesn't have the Nightmare Spell killing creatures will grant him neither Memory nor Echo but simply SP. And he needed to use SP to buy rather expensive [Echoes] and [Memories] in the system store.

By the way, he found out that absorbing SP doesn't mean he absorbs soul shards just like Sunny, what a coincidence. Now if needed he can disguise himself as having Divine rank Aspect and say his Soul Core is unique like Sunny's one.

Sadly the cheapest Awakened rank items in the system store start from 10000 SP. With tears in his eyes, he can only search through the Dormant Rank [Memory] list.

He wasn't sure how long he had been searching through the list after marking a few candidates for his future weapon he closed the system window. After all, he got a whole night for himself to think about what to do use.

He stared at the distance of the dark sea, it was strangely calm, without any visible movement even for his enhanced sight.

Out there in the distance, a few kilometers away, a small orange light was shimmering in the darkness. Its reflections were rising and falling with the movement of waves.

It was too far away to make out any details, so Edward just stared at it for a while. Pretty soon, the light disappeared.

"I think that's supposed to be Nephis and Cassie."

At least he know which direction to head to tomorrow, heck, he could swim towards them right now. With [Sailor Soul] he was sure he could make it there in no time. At least faster than walking there during the day.

In the end, he decided to not do that, even though his newly gained night vision couldn't penetrate the dark sea.

[Thunder Shot]: Every time you swing this spear you will accumulate static energy and once you stop moving the spear it will be shot out from the spear.

[Silver Lightning]: Hit something with it and a jewel that contains lightning in it will shock your opponent.

[Memory: Book Of Skulls

Enchantments: [Flaming Skull].

Description: It's a very ancient book and the content written on it is long lost in the long river of the time. But still, it kept it is magical power as long you hold it and with it, you can summon a burning skull that will explode upon coming into contact with your enemy.

[Flaming Skull]: It's a floating big human skull that's shrouded in flames. Can't say anything more.

Listening to him spending a lot of money on weapons from Terarria seems a little wasteful but hearing him out he has a really convincing reason for doing this. Big! Flaming! Sword! Followed by a lot of nostalgia factor and he meant a lot of it.

Now he is armed to possibly any situation that comes to his mind during the time he was buying which isn't a lot sadly. But anyway with no more money to spend he decided to find Nephis and Cassie.
