Mingming dragged his body, full of holes, barely moving.

As the firewood drained from his body, a terrible chill began to invade his insides.

It was the aura that turned everything into jewels.

His whole body was in excruciating pain, but all Mingming could think about was protecting the Attachment Human.

As the Jewel Spider approached the Attachment Human, Mingming summoned the last of his strength and blocked its path.

The cold eyes, seemingly made of jewels, stared at Mingming indifferently.

There was no emotion, no life in that gaze.

It merely shimmered, like something inanimate.

The Jewel Spider's sharp legs flashed and moved.

Mingming instinctively sensed that the outcome of the battle had already been decided before it even began.

But he could not retreat.

He had to fight until the very end to protect the Attachment Human.

Even if it meant death, no matter what, he had to hold on until his mother arrived.

“Miiing!”

A brutal battle continued.

Mingming struggled desperately to avoid the Jewel Spider’s sharp attacks.

But Mingming's body was already not functioning normally.

Like the rocks and trees scattered around, his body was being eroded by the external environment.

Brightly colored jewels sprouted from his body in various places.

With almost no firewood left, the Mini Reaper Mingming no longer had enough to protect his large body.

If he returned to his Mini Reaper form, this erosion wouldn’t be able to touch him, but that wasn’t possible.

Even if it was a futile struggle, he needed a large mass to block that Jewel Spider.

Mingming’s broken body could barely put up any proper resistance.

All he could do was endure.

Finally, the inevitable moment arrived.
