Sakura Haruno is Usefull

Chapter 107: Three moves to deal with Haruno Sakura

As Sakura heard Uchiha Itachi greet her so familiarly, her brows arched slightly before a provocative smile spread across her lips.

"I don't recall being that close to you," she retorted.

"In my memory, we've only met once, haven't we?"

Before Itachi could react, Kisame Hoshigaki, standing beside him, removed the straw hat on his head and chuckled, speaking up first.

"Heh, Itachi-san, it seems your goodwill was completely ignored by this little brat."

"And you think it's your turn to laugh? Laugh at what?" Sakura snapped.

"With that ugly mug of yours, laughing just makes it worse. Do us all a favor and stop."

Kisame's naturally unappealing face twisted into an even uglier expression as he chuckled, prompting Sakura to voice her disgust without hesitation.

"You sharp-tongued little brat," Kisame muttered, his face darkening.

Even before he defected from the Hidden Mist Village, his grotesque appearance had made him an outcast among his so-called comrades. Sakura's harsh words had struck a nerve.

"Sakura-san, you can't possibly think you can take on the two of us alone," Itachi said, removing his straw hat and tossing it aside. He fixed his calm gaze on the kunoichi before him.

"If you leave now, I can act like I didn't see anything."

"Huh?" Sakura's expression was incredulous.

"You, a weasel, are telling me to leave my own turf? Do you even know who's in charge here?"

As she spoke, Sakura retrieved a pair of black gloves from her ninja pouch, putting them on with deliberate slowness. Then, she pulled out two spiked knuckles, slipping them over her hands with a smirk that dared them to test her.

Weasel?

Itachi resisted the urge to touch his face. True, his tear troughs were pronounced, but they hardly made him resemble a weasel, did they?

It was clear from her tone, though, that this girl had no intention of walking away.

Kisame, already agitated, couldn't hold back anymore.

While Itachi was stronger and typically the leader of their duo, he couldn't control Kisame in his current mood.

He decided instead to prepare for an escalating battle, thinking that if things got too noisy, he'd use the opportunity to let this Konoha prodigy escape unnoticed.

"Kisame, your fighting style is too flashy. Make it quick," Itachi advised.

Kisame pulled his massive, bandage-wrapped blade, Samehada, from his back and fixed his gaze on Sakura, who he saw as an overconfident brat.

"Itachi-san, for a kid like her, I won't need your help. Three moves, and she's done."

Hearing this, Sakura's smirk widened. She raised her hand and curled her fingers in a taunting gesture.

"Shark-face, you're ugly and full of hot air," she mocked.

"Watch me take you down with just three punches."

Kisame's patience snapped, and he charged at Sakura with Samehada in hand.

Sakura, brimming with fighting spirit, didn't back down. Instead, she advanced to meet him head-on, showing no fear of the massive blade, which was almost as large as her entire body.

Fully aware of Samehada's chakra-absorbing abilities, Sakura refrained from infusing her spiked knuckles with chakra. Instead, she relied purely on her monstrous strength as she launched her punches.

Itachi, observing from the side, froze slightly when he noticed the weapons Sakura wielded.

Tools crafted by the Ninja Cat Clan…

Because of the Uchiha massacre, Itachi had long been blacklisted by the Ninja Cat Clan, and he hadn't seen their craftsmanship in years. To think that one of their tools would end up in the hands of a non-Uchiha… Did that mean she had a close relationship with Sasuke?

If that were the case…

Would using Tsukuyomi on Haruno Sakura make Sasuke hate him even more?

Or should he just kill her outright?

Would Sasuke's hatred fuel greater power, perhaps even unlocking a higher form of the Sharingan?

Itachi's thoughts were momentarily consumed by the possibilities, his interest piqued.

Meanwhile, Sakura didn't spare him a glance. She focused entirely on Kisame and his massive blade. As Samehada slashed toward her, she didn't dodge but instead met it with a full-force punch.

The incredible strength behind her small fist sent shockwaves rippling through Kisame's body. His expression shifted as he immediately gripped the hilt of Samehada with both hands, realizing he couldn't afford to be careless.

Through sheer effort, Kisame managed to block Sakura's punch, though his hands trembled slightly from the impact.

Sakura was a little surprised. Among the opponents she had faced so far, aside from her training with Tsunade, Kisame was the first to withstand her monstrous strength head-on.

However, she hadn't used her full power. Kisame had relied on his massive physique and raw muscle to barely hold his ground.

She didn't miss the slight tremor in his hands.

Let's see what you've got next.

Sakura pivoted her body, taking advantage of Kisame's momentary stiffness from the punch. She spun and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick aimed straight at him!

Kisame's small eyes widened in alarm. The force behind this girl's attacks was the strongest he had ever encountered.

Desperately, he brought Samehada up to shield himself again.

Sakura's kick landed squarely on Samehada, producing a resounding impact. The force sent both Kisame and his sword flying into the nearby river, creating an enormous splash.

In just one punch and one kick, Kisame had been utterly overpowered in a simple taijutsu exchange.

The cascading water droplets dampened Itachi's hair as he stared, momentarily dumbfounded.

Though taijutsu wasn't Kisame's specialty, his towering physique made him a formidable opponent in close combat.

Yet, in this brief clash, he had been completely outmatched.

Is this Konoha's new generation?

Sakura lowered her leg, her expression playful as she watched Kisame crawl out of the river, coughing up blood.

"Is this what you meant by taking me down in three moves?" she taunted.

"What a joke."

Kisame, panting heavily and suppressing the turmoil in his body, glared at Sakura with bloodshot eyes. Without hesitation, he began forming hand seals at an incredible speed.

He no longer cared about Itachi's warning to keep things quiet.

Now, all he wanted was to kill this brat.

He had figured out that she was a taijutsu specialist. Engaging her in close combat was suicide, so he would rely on his expertise in ninjutsu to obliterate her.

Confidence surged within him.

Taking down this pink-haired kunoichi and fleeing Konoha afterward wouldn't be a problem.
