Chapter 162: Items for Slip Formation
'Did you feel their rain magic, Aerith?' asked Arthur.
'Yes. I felt it,' Aerith explained.
'Their rain magic was broken by a member of that group. I made a mistake,' Arthur replied.
The reason why Arthur said this was because he was the first one to reveal the truth about the Nymph village, which had been protected for hundreds of years.
It was perhaps the magic fluctuation when Arthur destroyed their rain magic wall that made the group come.
Once humans discovered the Nymph Village's existence, they would come in great numbers. That would put Nyxie and the others' safety at risk.
'So, what are you gonna do?' asked Aerith.
'I plan to create a powerful and eternal magic shield here. But, I don't know how to do it,' said Arthur.
Currently, Arthur was in a wooden dome house created using earth elemental magic exclusively for Arthur.
Nyxie and the others welcomed Arthur kindly, where before they had refused and even planned to kill him due to their principles.
After Arthur saved the Nymph village, they decided to let Arthur stay for a while in this place. Arthur even promised to create a protective magic that could protect them better than the rain protection magic.
A dimensional rift surprisingly appeared before Arthur. The man opened his eyes while still sitting cross-legged on the soft cushion on the floor of the dome house, staring straight ahead as he watched Aerith emerge from the dimensional rift.
"Do you need to form a slip formation?" asked Aerith, making sure.
"What's a slip formation?" asked Arthur.
Aerith explained a slip formation was a crafting tool that could store many magic spells or talents. Mostly, slip formations are used for attack methods by keeping the strongest magic spells inside. However, it can be used as a defense method as well.
In Visiri, many shops sold slip formations with magic embedded in it, and some sold empty slip formations. Still, Aerith had not found any slip formations being used on Earth.
"With a slip formation, your magic talent can be used elsewhere by only requiring activation from another mage."
"In short, you lend your talent under the condition that the activating mage must have a sufficient amount of MP," Aerith explained as she sat on the round cushion provided in the wooden dome house.
"Then, how can I protect them? Is common magic enough for them and won't be easily destroyed by those mages?" Arthur asked.
"That depends on their ability to activate magic on the slip formation. With your current tier, any kind of defense magic will be difficult to break unless it is done by a mage with the Archmage tier," Aerith replied.
Arthur was silent for a moment. He activated his talent panel to bring up both of his talent panels. Common magic might work, but Arthur needed more power than common defense magic.

"As for the magic for the slip formation, I think the Domain Reality sub talent of my main talent and the Gravity Area Control of my secondary talent are enough to protect this place," Arthur replied, showing both talent panels to Aerith.
Aerith squinted, she looked at the sub talents thoroughly, along with the amount of MP required. In total for both talents, it required 70000 MP for activation, plus 5000 MP for synchronization with the mage.
"About 75000 MP to activate the slip formation in total. Are you sure they have that amount of MP?" asked Aerith, looking at Arthur sternly.
"I have no idea. However, I'm sure they do. They can combine their powers to perform this activation, right?"
"They can."
"The most important thing is the slip formation," Aerith replied.
"Do you have it?" asked Arthur, hopefully.
Aerith responded with a shaking of her head. She didn't have the formation slip. That made Arthur sigh and puzzled, the man could not continue to stay here and protect this place, it would ruin his dream.
"But, I can make one. My crafting skills are already at the highest level," Aerith replied, a big smile instantly spread across Arthur's face at Aerith's words.
"What items do you need?" Arthur asked.
"I need an empty slip, three pieces of Red Ruby Gem Lv.3, three pieces of Blue Amethyst Gem Lv. 3, and a Soul Essence of a Light Elemental Monster," Aerith said.
Arthur took out six gems of two different types, Ruby and Amethyst. As for the empty slips, he didn't have one, let alone a soul essence of a light elemental monster. Aerith smiled, the woman asked for a compensation slip which Arthur had.
"Compensation slip?"
"I just need to dismantle the cores of these slips with my magic, and take them all out. But, it must be with an unused compensation slip," Aerith replied.
Fortunately, Arthur had two remaining unused compensation slips. He handed them to Aerith along with the six gems. Aerith took it and made the three items float before her.
"You'd better start looking for the light elemental monster," Aerith pleaded.
"Where should I look for them? What differentiates them from other elemental monsters?" Arthur asked.
"They are in sunny, clean places, or places close to the sun. The characteristic mark that distinguishes them is that there are specks of light around their bodies," Aerith answered, Arthur nodded in agreement.
The woman said she would wait for Arthur in the Dark Dimension. When the man had gotten the items, Aerith would reappear before him. Arthur understood.
Aerith stepped into the dimensional rift and disappeared. Arthur rose from his cross-legged seat, stepping forward through the curtained door of the wooden dome house. Arthur's appearance outside the house surprised many people, including Philise.
"Mr. Arthur," Philise greeted.
"Where are Nyxie and Miki?" Arthur asked.
Philise explained that they were getting ready for dinner. Servant Thalenia had returned to Aaron's body, Thania had explained everything and Nyxie understood the situation. The most important thing to Nyxie was that Thalenia lived with a powerful man like Arthur.
"Tell them I'll go look for monsters," Arthur replied.
"Monsters? What monster? What for?"
"A light elemental monster," Arthur said.
"I need the monster's soul essence for my purposes."
Nerisha heard their talk. She stepped closer to Arthur and Philise while saying something which surprised Arthur. Arthur turned to look at Nerisha's face.
"We have a lot of soul essences of light element monsters."
'What an unexpected coincidence,' Arthur said.
"How many do you need?" Nerisha asked.
"Just one."
Nerisha nodded. She invited Arthur to visit the vault where they kept many magic items. As the curtain slid aside, Arthur saw that the warehouse was larger than a typical domed house.
The woman continued walking until she came to a wooden shelf filled with medium-sized chests, divided according to the magic elements. She picked up a white medium chest with the element of light written on it.
Opening the chest and revealing a white soul orb, Nerisha handed it to Arthur.
"I don't know what you're creating, but be careful with it," Nerisha replied, putting the chest back.
"Don't worry. It's not a dangerous matter."
