Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 103: Night Liberators Suspicion

Full of joy, Thalenia strode along while jumping up and down happily. Arthur smiled; her demeanor was completely different from when she was fighting.

"So, this is what it feels like to be free without being restrained by the Dark Pillar?" asked Thalenia. Arthur smiled broadly at the demeanor of his mythological race servant.

Indeed, by summoning a servant, Thalenia could be free from the Dark Pillar. But, Arthur's purpose wasn't that, but rather to obtain the woman's basic buffs, HP and MP regen.

Currently, both attributes can regen around 500-700/5 seconds. However, it was possible that Arthur could get a large amount of regen if he could level up Thalenia's servant.

'Regen of less than 1000/five seconds would be useless given my large amount of HP and MP," Arthur said.

'Looks like I'll have to increase the level of Thalenia's servant soon.'

"Master!" called Thalenia. Arthur immediately turned to look at the woman in the emerald dress.

"I want to visit some places. Is it okay?"

Arthur was curious about the places Thalenia was referring to. The woman explained there were two places she wanted to go, a waterfall in the snow mountains and the Sylph forest. This was the first time Arthur had heard of these places.

"I've never heard of those two places."

"The Waterfall of the Snow Mountains is on the 14th floor, while the Sylph Forest is on the 17th floor," said Thalenia, Arthur smiled in response to the woman's words.

"We will visit them when we reach those two floors. Do you understand?" asked Arthur, gently stroking Thalenia's hair.

"I understand."

The staff from the servant room walked over to Arthur, carrying a digital payment box, as Arthur had to pay the fee for the summoning of the mythological race servant.

The price of summoning a beast servant starts at 5000 RL, while the cost of summoning a mythological race servant starts at 10000 RL. The price will change based on the rarity and characteristics of the servant to be summoned.

The cathedral set the price for Arthur's Nymph servant at 25000 RL. That was because the Nymph race was one of the five main races living in the Dark Pillar in the past. Arthur had no objection to the price.

The transaction was successful after Arthur tapped his system watch against the screen of the digital payment box.

The staff confirmed Arthur's money and allowed Arthur to leave, as other adventurers wanted to summon beast servants.

Thalenia returned to Arthur's body per the young man's orders. He didn't want people to see him walking with a mythological race servant; it would make many people fight over him. Explore new worlds at empire

He stepped outside and accidentally passed a member of the Night Liberators. Luckily for Arthur, he had used camouflage earrings so they wouldn't notice. That was even better.

"Wait!" said a man from the three-person Night Liberators group just as Arthur passed beside him.

Arthur stopped walking, feeling the man's words were meant for him. He glanced back, clearly seeing the man walking toward him. The man's eyes were narrowed, trying to analyze Arthur's face and posture.

"I feel I know you," he said, which was enough to put Arthur on his guard.

"What do you mean? We just met."

The man gazed over Arthur's head, noticing the red title that said murderer clearly. It made him more curious.

"How did you get the title?" the man asked, pointing at the top of Arthur's head.

"I got it because I killed one of the Dark Legion members in the last battle," Arthur replied, giving a reasonable excuse.

"Can I see your profile status?"

'I had expected it. He asked me to see my profile status. Even though I'm wearing camouflage earrings, the ability can't disguise the name on my profile,' Arthur explained.

"I don't know who you are, but it's clearly written in the basic rules that one has the right to refuse someone's request about profile status."

The man explained that he was Mason, an aide to the Leader of the Night Liberators. He also ensured Arthur's safety and privacy if he was willing to show his profile status. Still, Arthur was reluctant to reveal it to him.

"That would make you look suspicious. We are hunting a dangerous man. Somehow, your face looks familiar to him."

"Am I him in your opinion?" asked Arthur, making sure.

Mason shook his head. Although Arthur's face was like Aaron's, something in his heart said Arthur wasn't.

"Then I'm not him. Can I go? I have something to do," Arthur replied.

The man before him was silent for a moment, then sighed as he invited Arthur to leave. Arthur smiled and thanked him, leaving the City Cathedral.

"I don't trust him yet," Mason replied, still suspicious.

"You both go follow him. I need to know who he really is."

"Yes, Mr. Mason."

Arthur stepped away, hoping to escape the Night Liberators' suspicions. But, just as Arthur had predicted, several members of the Night Liberators were seen following behind at a slow pace.

To show that Arthur was not Aaron, he needed to do something that would not make them feel suspicious. What they thought of Aaron was a ruthless man, a master criminal, and a serial murderer.

Arthur just needed to do the opposite of Aaron's attitude by doing good things, and Arthur knew how to do that.

Just before returning to the inn, Arthur entered the fruit shop and bought two bags of fresh fruit. The two Night Liberators Mason had ordered were still following Arthur; their job was to observe Arthur's daily activities.

After buying enough, Arthur stepped towards the city's southeast. There was a small orphanage with an old, weathered wooden house. The nun of the orphanage greeted Arthur's arrival.

Without hesitation, Arthur gave the nun two paper bags full of fruit. The nurse accepted with a smile, inviting Arthur to come and see the children.

Arthur shook his head; he wasn't good at interacting with children and didn't want to take any risks.

The young man said goodbye and left the place. From his aura sensitivity, Arthur could sense the same two energy fluctuations still following him from the city cathedral. Arthur just needed to do something else they wouldn't suspect.

He braved his way into the Sky Sword HQ and met with Andrew. Arthur asked Andrew to talk outside, which confused the man.

"What are you asking me to talk about outside the HQ, Arthur?" asked Andrew, curious.

"It's about the monster raid on the 11th floor. Do you know what the floor boss looks like there?" asked Arthur, although he didn't care because he was already confident that he could defeat it.

The two continued to talk endlessly, their closeness making the two members of the Night Liberators confused.

If Arthur were Aaron, it would have been impossible for him to talk casually with the leader of the Sky Sword, considering the three main groups were enemies of Aaron.

"Looks like he's not Aaron."

"That's right. Aaron isn't a fool. He wouldn't be able to interact with Andrew."

Having no definite information, the two members of the Night Liberators left the place. Arthur felt the fluctuations of the two men begin to vanish, a sign that they were no longer pursuing him.

"Thankfully, they're not pursuing me anymore."

"Who are you referring to?" asked Andrew.

"The Night Liberators."

"Night Liberators? How did you run into them?" asked Andrew.

Arthur told Andrew everything, especially when he met Luke's aide, Mason. Andrew listened and then came to his senses about the situation.

He asked Arthur to be more careful; it was safer for him to climb the floor immediately.

"Do you need my help removing the red title again?" asked Andrew, offering to help.

"Sure. That would be a big help to me."
