Chapter 19: Jaxon wilder

Jaxon and Max spent the day rehearsing at the studio, perfecting their sound and working on new material. As they took a break, Max turned to Jaxon with a thoughtful expression.

"Hey, Jaxon, have you ever thought about getting a stage name?" Max asked.

Jaxon raised an eyebrow. "A stage name? I don't know... I've always just gone by my real name."

Max nodded. "I know, but a stage name can be beneficial for branding and marketing. Plus, it can be a fun way to create a separate identity for yourself as an artist."

Jaxon thought about it for a moment. "I guess that makes sense. But where do I even start?"

Max grinned. "Well, let's brainstorm some ideas. What kind of vibe do you want your stage name to give off?"

Jaxon thought about it for a moment. "I want it to be cool and memorable, but also authentic and true to who I am."

Max nodded. "Okay, got it. Let's start throwing around some ideas."

As they brainstormed, Jaxon mentioned that he had always been fascinated by his grandfather's stories about the Wild West.

Max's eyes lit up. "That's it! Jaxon Wilder. It's got a great ring to it, and it's got a cool, edgy vibe."

Jaxon's eyes widened as he heard the name. "I love it! Jaxon Wilder is perfect."

Max smiled. "I'm glad you like it. Now, let's talk about what kind of image you want to project as Jaxon Wilder."

Jaxon thought about it for a moment. "I want to be seen as authentic to myself. I want my music to inspire people and make them feel something real."

Max nodded. "I love that. Okay, so we've got the stage name and the image. Now, let's talk about the music."

Jaxon grinned. "I've got a bunch of new songs that I've been working on. I'm excited about them."

Max's eyes lit up. "That's awesome! Let's hear them."

Jaxon pulled out his guitar and started playing one of his new songs. Max listened intently, nodding his head and making notes on his phone.

As Jaxon finished playing, Max looked up at him with a huge grin on his face. "Dude, that's amazing! You've outdone yourself."

Jaxon beamed with pride. "Thanks, Max. I'm excited about this new music."

Max nodded. "I can tell. Okay, so we've got the stage name, the image, and the music. Now, let's talk about the next steps."

Jaxon thought about it for a moment. "I guess we need to start getting the word out about Jaxon Wilder."

Max nodded. "Exactly. We need to start building a buzz around your new stage name and music."

Jaxon grinned. "I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make this happen."

Max smiled. "I know you are, Jaxon. And I'm right here with you every step of the way."

With their plan in place, Jaxon and Max spent the rest of the day rehearsing and preparing for the next steps in Jaxon's music career.

As the sun began to set, Jaxon packed up his gear and said goodbye to Max.

"Thanks for everything, Max," Jaxon said, shaking his producer's hand.

Max smiled. "No problem, Jaxon. You're going to do great things."

Jaxon grinned, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. He knew that this was just the beginning of an amazing journey.

As he walked out of the studio, Jaxon felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had taken the first steps towards launching his music career, and he was ready for whatever came next.

Over the next few days, Jaxon worked tirelessly to get the word out about his new stage name and music. He posted updates on social media, reached out to music bloggers and influencers, and even played a few local shows to get his name out there.

And then, just as things were starting to gain momentum, Jaxon received an email from a prominent music venue in town.

"Jaxon Wilder," the email read. "We've been hearing great things about your music, and we'd like to invite you to play a show at our venue next month."

Jaxon's heart skipped a beat as he read the email. This was the opportunity he had been waiting for – a chance to play a big show and make a name for himself in the music scene.

I will inform my team about it, Jaxon replied.

As he hit send, Jaxon felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. He knew that this was just the beginning of an amazing journey, and he was ready to take on whatever challenges came his way.

Negotiations details

Max, Jaxon's manager, sat across from Smith, the event host.

Max: "We're excited about the opportunity for Jaxon to perform at your event. However, we'd like to propose a slightly different arrangement."

Smith: "What did you have in mind?"

Max: "We'd like to take the lead on planning the event and marketing aspects. Our team has a lot of experience in this area, and we believe we can create a truly unforgettable experience for the audience."

Smith: "That's an interesting proposal. What kind of arrangement were you thinking of?"

Max: "We'd like to propose a 50-50 profit-sharing agreement. Our team will handle all the planning and marketing, and in return, we'll split the profits equally."

Smith: "I think we can work with that. But we'll need to discuss the details further and make sure everyone is on the same page."

Max: "Absolutely. We're open to negotiating the terms and making sure it's a win-win for both parties."

After some further discussion, both parties agreed to the deal.

Over the next few weeks, Jaxon worked tirelessly to prepare for the big show. He rehearsed his set list, worked on his stage presence, and even hired a professional photographer to take some promotional photos.
