Sakura sneers at hearing Naruto

SAKURA:

"You're just a noisy, useless ninja wannabe, Naruto Uzumaki. Living with Izumi Uchiha must be charity and nobody wants you otherwise!"

Ino's eyes blaze with anger, she tackles Sakura

INO AND SAKURA FIGHT INTENSIFIES, WHILE:

Shikamaru and Choji watch with interest, snacking on chips

SHIKAMARU:

"Choji, this fight's entertaining. But didn't Naruto just enroll today... and wasn't he walking with Izumi Uchiha to enrollment this morning?"

CHOJI:*

"Yeah, Shikamaru! I saw them together. Izumi Uchiha – the former Uchiha clan member who got banished... Naruto's living with her? That's heavy."

SHIKAMARU NODS, EYES NARROWED:

"Exactly. Naruto's situation's more complex than we thought. This fight aside, I'm curious what's Izumi Uchiha's interest in him?"

Just then, Ino lands a solid punch on Sakura, sending her stumbling back

INO STANDS TALL, CHEST HEAVING:

"Enough, Sakura. Naruto Uzumaki is under my care – respect him or face me wrath!"

Sakura glares, rubbing her jaw, before storming off –

FIRST DAY OF ACADEMY, CROWDED HALLWAY BUZZES WITH EXCITED CHATTER...

Students eager to start their ninja training careers mill around

NARUTO STANDS OUT, THANKS TO NEE-CHAN IZUMI'S THOUGHTFULNESS:

Izumi arrived earlier, handing him a fresh new academy uniform

"Naruto-kun, first day impressions matter. Wear these, look sharp!"

Naruto beams, wearing the crisp black uniform with orange trim, feeling confident

SCENE SHIFTS TO INO AND HINATA, BOTH SCANNING THE CROWD FOR NARUTO:

Ino's eyes sparkle with friendship, while Hinata's gentle gaze shows concern

INO:

"Hinata, have you seen Naruto yet? I wanted to wish him good luck on our first day."

HINATA:

"Not yet, Ino... but I sense he's nearby. Naruto-kun always has a lively aura."

Meanwhile, Sakura leans against a wall, eyes fixed on the entrance

SAKURA THINKS TO HERSELF:

"Any moment now... Sasuke-kun will arrive, and everyone will notice him – especially me noticing him."

SHIKAMARU SHAKES HIS HEAD, A MIX OF AMUSEMENT AND EXASPERATION...

"Women are such a headache..."

He glances at Sakura pining for Sasuke, Ino and Hinata searching for Naruto

CHOJI, MUNCHING ON SNACKS BESIDE HIM, OBIVIOUSLY CLUELESS:

"Mmmmm, these chips are awesome, Shikamaru! Want some?"

Shikamaru facepalms, chuckling low in his throat

SHIKAMARU:

"Choji, you're missing the drama unfolding before us. Sakura waits for Sasuke, Ino and Hinata seek Naruto... complicated..

Choji swallows his snack, still confused

CHOJI:

"Huh? Complicated? They just like them, right? Like how I like food!"

Shikamaru bursts out laughing

SHIKAMARU:

"Exactly your point, Choji and you understand food relationships perfectly; female friendships and crushes? Not your forte!"

Just then, someone walks into view, Ino and Hinata thinks about him and smiles

THE DOORS SWING OPEN, AND SASUKE UCHIHA WALKS IN, LATE AS USUAL...

His piercing eyes scan the room with a hint of disdain, cold and arrogant demeanor intact

COLLECTIVE GASPS AND STARED EXPRESSSIONS FROM THE FEMALE STUDENTS:

Sakura's eyes widen, dreamy sparkle igniting her gaze

SAKURA THINKS TO HERSELF:*

"Sasuke-kun... always so cool and powerful. My heart skips beats whenever he's near."

Ino's expression turns intrigued, observing Sakura's reaction

INO WHISPERS TO HINATA:

"Hinata, Sakura's utterly smitten with Sasuke. Wonder if he even notices her... or anyone."

Hinata nods gently, also watching Sasuke

HINATA ADDS:

"Ino, Sasuke-sama seems... lonely. Despite his strong aura, his eyes appear sad."

Other female students continue staring, mesmerized by Sasuke's presence

CHOJI LEANS OVER TO SHIKAMARU, WHISPERING:

"Shikamaru, what's with all the girls? Sasuke just walked in – didn't even smile or anything!"
