Izumi's eyes widened – honor and purpose replacing her sadness

Izumi bowed deeply, accepting the ANBU offer

THIRD HOKAGE SMILED, HANDING HER AN ANBU MASK:

"Welcome to ANBU, Izumi Umino. Your first mission... and ongoing task, is to protect and care for Naruto Uzumaki.

Observe him, guide him, and keep him safe."

Izumi's eyes sparkled with delight and this task aligned perfectly with her feelings towards Naruto

IZUMI BOWED AGAIN, ENTHUSIASTICALLY:

"Thank you, Hokage-sama! I accept this mission with honor. Naruto-kun has already stolen a piece of my heart."

Third Hokage chuckled, nodding in approval

LATER THAT DAY, NARUTO'S CURRENT RAMEN-SHOP NEARBY HOME...

Izumi found Naruto eating ramen alone, as usual

IZUMI APPROACHED HIM, SMILING:

"Naruto-kun, from today onwards... you'll be living with me! Hokage-sama assigned me to take care of you."

Naruto's eyes widened, ramen noodles halted mid-air

NARUTO STUNNED:

"H-huh?! Live with YOU, Izumi-chan?!

HEARTWARMING SCENE UNFOLDS...

Days passed, Naruto and Izumi settled into their cozy new home

Naruto helped with chores, Izumi cooked delicious meals and their bond grew stronger

NARUTO LOOKED UP AT IZUMI WITH A SMILE:

Naruto spent hours in his room, secretly working on a surprise for Nee-chan Izumi

Finally finished, he carefully placed the handmade gift on the kitchen table

Izumi walked into the kitchen, eyes widening at the sight

A beautifully crafted, if slightly clumsy, wooden pendant with her name "Izumi" carved into it

IZUMI'S HEART SWELLED WITH EMOTION:

"Naruto-kun... this is incredible! You made this for me?"

Naruto nodded eagerly, hoping she'd like it

NARUTO SAID SOFTLY:

"Yeah, Nee-chan. Wanted to thank you for taking care of me like family. You're always there for me."

Izumi's eyes misted; no one had ever made something so thoughtful for her

She gently hugged Naruto, pendant clutched in her hand

IZUMI WHISPERED:

"This means everything to me, Naruto-kun. I'll treasure it always... and treasure you too."
