Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master

Chapter 1294: The Silver Blue Facet Of Death Bomb

"No time for any of that!" William didn't like the panic shown on these masters' faces and words, "the bomb area of effect is enough to get any of us inside no matter how fast we run!"

"Then…"

"Just surround me," William waved his hand, as if he was a supreme master speaking with kids, "don't let any enemy interrupt me and we may have a chance…"

Then he paused, took a look above him, before adding, "yet we first need to do something with these Chimeras and the den…"

William was moving around with seven Chimeras. Even if five of them were burdened with lots of wounds, they were still a force to be reckoned with.

On top of that, he couldn't leave the den alone for that long, or else more Chimeras would pop out from it.

"Time to deal with these…" As he made up his mind, he dashed away, taking the Chimeras with him, "move the bomb carefully to the den location," he shouted before he moved, "make sure to not get hit by anything or else…"

William's warning made all the masters around stiff. They turned to look at the den, then at the bomb, then at all the enemies standing between them and the den.

"We need help, screw what he said," one of the masters bitterly smiled, "he is confident to face seven of such scary monsters on his own… Even doing it in the middle of all these enemies… We ain't like him…"

"True…" Another master admitted it in a bitter tone, "let's ask Fang and Sloth for help…"

The responsibility over them was simply huge. The fate of not only everyone here, but everyone living in the city above and surrounding areas was on their shoulders.

If they made a mistake of some sort and ended up letting an attack hit the bomb, then they'd all be screwed!

As they contacted Fang and Sloth to arrange reinforcements for them, William started to deal with the Chimeras.

The biggest problem in dealing with flying monsters was to land the attacks successfully on them. As they were able to fly, they could easily evade the incoming attacks from the ground.

But to William this wasn't a problem at all. He used his dash technique to push his body high in the air, releasing all the dozens of attacks he stored over his tails.

"They indeed got way weaker by being here," William dealt with lots of Chimeras before in his past life. He knew how troublesome they were, not an easy task to even a seasoned master in the higher realm.

But when he attacked them, three Chimeras instantly lost their lives. As for the rest, they got different wounds, even two lost a wing from theirs.

"Couple more and I'm done here," William was feeling bad to let go of such killing machines. He planned to use these in killing more enemies, but now he had to kill all the Chimeras before he'd deal with the bomb.

He also couldn't risk taking long in dealing with them, or else more Chimeras would come out from the den. So he made it swift and killed all the Chimeras, before turning towards the den.

He was fighting the Chimeras in the middle of dense enemy masters. But with the help of the Chimeras, he managed to kill a lot before he dashed away.

As he ran towards the den, he noticed what the masters did. "They still brought those two… It's going to be noisy…"

"You… What do you think you are doing by letting this here?" The moment he drew closer, Sloth exploded in anger at him, "do you know how stupid this is?"

"Just keep me safe and sound, don't let anyone interrupt me," William rolled his eyes at Sloth, "let me deal with this…"

"They said you still don't know how to deal with the situation!" Sloth shouted in anger, while pointing at other masters.

"And I still don't know, but shouting and acting in such a way won't help," William passed by Sloth, "make sure no one interrupts me, or else everyone here will die!"

William wasn't bluffing, he actually had no clue about how to stop this bomb. He first needed to know how much time they got, before he'd decide if he'd work on a solution here or get the bomb outside and pass it through one of the portals in the city above to an unhabituated place.

Luckily there was a way to determine how long it'd take from this scary bomb to detonate. "Every facet needs one hundred flashes from its lines for the bomb to detonate… And this one had thirty-five facets…"

William returned to closely examine the bomb after watching all masters spread and form a tight net around him. They were enough to secure this spot and not let anything interrupt William.

"Interesting…" In the middle of all the explosions coming from fighting all over the place, William kept himself sitting, looking closely at the bomb, without caring about anything else happening around him.

The first thing he noticed was how slow the flashing happened on all facets of this bomb. When he timed it, it'd take roughly an hour for one facet's lines to flash for a single time.

The next thing he noticed was that not all facets' lines were flashing at the same pace. "It seems the spirit power here is so weak and thin that it is not enough to power up all facets…"

This was all great news for him. Even if he calculated the timing based on the fastest facet's line flashes, William was sure they had enough time on his hands to deal with this bomb.

"I'd say it'd take at least one hundred hours, up to five hundred hours to detonate…" After a couple more hours, he managed to get a rough estimate about how long this bomb would take before it'd detonate.

During which, William made sure to attack the den every now and then with his new technique.
