Reincarnated As The Villainess's Son

Chapter 383: [Wedding By Blood] [35] [Himmel V/s The Immortal Twins]

"You seem to be in trouble, brother,"

Vikoka said, staring dead into my eyes.

"Something is wrong with him."

Khokan got to his feet, his hand clenching tightly on his trident.

"He is different. For some reason—"

"He is an Avatar of two gods."

Vikoka completed his words, his hand trembling violently.

"That shouldn't be possible."

Khokan glared at me with hatred in his eyes, his expression that of pure rage.

"We need to inform Rangar about this." Vikoka said, his voice barely a whisper as he tried to step back.

"No!"

Khokan yelled, his trident glowing in a hue of purple.

"We are killing him, right here! Right now!"

"Huff..."

I let out a deep breath as I got into position, forming a blade of mana.

It will be hard. No. It's near impossible to win against them.

They have all the advantages in almost everything.

But it doesn't mean I can't win against them.

'...I need to be fast.'

The divinity I took from Elijah isn't mine.

I can't produce it on my own because I don't have Elyon's soul.

All I did was make his divinity my own, which will deplete sooner or later.

"Huff..."

There isn't anything to fear. I know how to beat them from my previous life.

Memories of my life as Inder started to resurface as a plan formed in my mind.

Khokan's voice boomed in my ears. "I will sacrifice your blood to my goddess—"

Golden lightning rushed through my veins, my body blurred as I reached him near instantly. "No you don't."

I swept my blade, cutting him in two, his body thrown away from the pressure.

The place burst into chaos as Vikoka moved.

Khokan's body remerged as he rushed at me once again.

They both are well-coordinated with years of experience, and right now, I can't afford to hold back.

Golden streaks of lightning trailed behind me as I moved across the battlefield.

Khokan and Vikoka didn't waste a moment either.

Vikoka was the first to respond, his hand weaving through the air, conjuring a jagged wall of earth to slow me down.

But I shifted my momentum, my foot planting into the base of the wall, and used it as leverage to launch into a spin.

Mana condensed into a sharp arc as I twisted mid-air, slashing through the earth like butter and forcing Vikoka to retreat.

The shards didn't even hit the ground before Khokan came at me again, his trident raised above my head.

The impact rang out as my mana blade met his trident, the resulting shockwave flattening the nearby ground.

I was faster, but he was stronger. I grit my teeth and ducked under his second swing.

Then—

"Behind you!" Vikoka yelled, already forming a sigil of fire in the air.

I leapt to the side just as a column of blue flame scorched where I'd been standing.

The heat singed my hair, but I didn't stop.

I darted back in, this time aiming not at their bodies—but their balance.

Khokan swung again, his trident cleaving through a pillar behind me, but I twisted under him and drove a sharp pulse of lightning at his knee joint.

Crack!

He stumbled.

And that was enough.

I launched upward, my blade coming down like a comet of divine light. Khokan raised his trident to block—

But I feinted.

Instead of clashing head-on, I let go of the blade, letting it detonate mid-air into a burst of mana shards.

He instinctively shielded his face, giving me the opening.

My palm slammed into his chest.

The properties of his flesh turned acidic, force enough to send him tumbling like a ragdoll.

Vikoka rushed in then, his speed equal to mine—but his style was more graceful, slippery.

He weaved through my counters, his strikes flowing like water around my defenses.

'I can copy it.'

Mana became my guide as I mimicked the rhythm of his footwork, making him stunned.

Then I feigned a collapse—just a stumble.

Vikoka took the bait, lunging for my exposed side.

I bent backward, one hand touching the ground, and spun, sweeping his legs clean out from under him.

He flipped back in mid-air, landed on his feet but I was already behind him.

Muspelh!

BOOM!

A bluish explosion rocked the field as I used the origin fire.

Vikoka screamed, thrown backward into the statue of the goddess Anant.

The statue shattered on impact while I panted for air.

Fighting in such conditions with those above my rank took a huge toll on my body.

'Fuck.'

I could feel it... Elyon's borrowed divinity fraying at the edges.

Drawing in a deep breath, I let the golden lightning roam in my veins.

My speed skyrocketed with next step as I looked at the nobles and black-armored soldiers standing around them.

Just my gaze was enough to scare them as half of them backed away.

'They don't have any intention of fighting me.'

Good.

That's what I needed.

"Run!"

Before they could move, I was already on them.

All it took was a split second.

Blood pooled on my path as I killed half of them in a near instant.

"WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT!?"

I yelled, glaring at those useless nobles still looking at me in awe.

"FUCKING RUN!?"

My voice brought them to their senses as they stood up and started to run away.

I swept a glance over them as I made sure those close to me were safe.

Heather's father took away Elijah, giving me some relief.

'...Where is Siersha?'

I couldn't find her in the crowd.

But—.

There wasn't much time as Khokan and Vikoka stood up once again.

Khokan was the first to rise.

Parts of his body were already regenerating, black tendrils twisting over seared flesh.

His eyes glowed with pure hatred.

Vikoka struggled from the rubble of the shattered goddess statue, half of his body scorched and dripping with thickened blood.

One glance at each other was more than enough for their injuries to heal in an instant.

Physically, they both were now in perfect condition.

'I need to kill them together.'

If I couldn't, then they would keep on regenerating.

Other than that, I needed to make sure they didn't come into physical contact.

'...If they use their Kingdom, it will be the end for me.'

"You little wretch… what are you?" Vikoka muttered, smoke curling from his mouth. "Even Rangar can't use two Avatars' powers at once."

I didn't reply.

Mana surged through me like a tidal wave, and the tattoos on my body glowed brighter, burning hot against my skin.

Vikoka raised his hand, trying to form another sigil.

I moved, kicking his hand.

His wrist shattered with a sickening snap.

Vikoka shrieked as his wrist bent the wrong way, stumbling back before Khokan lunged forward with a snarl.

I spun away, grabbing the edge of a fallen pillar and using it as a pivot to launch myself upward.

My foot slammed into Khokan's jaw mid-leap, he flew back with a roar, crashing into the cobbled stone.

I raised my hand toward the sky, mana etched itself into the air around me.

Chains made of mana erupted from the earth, streaking toward the two brothers like arrows.

Khokan blocked one with his trident, but two others wrapped around his legs.

Vikoka, still stumbling, tried to conjure fire but his mangled hand was too slow.

The chains latched onto his arms, pinning him against a cracked archway.

Golden lightning arced violently through my arms as I drew the last of Elyon's divinity into my blade.

I raised it toward the sky.

'This is it. One strike.'

The tattoos across my chest burned like molten gold, and the wind howled as mana surged wildly around me.

"BROTHER!!!"

A pair of hands erupted from the sides of Khokan as he broke free from the chains.

He rushed toward his brother with all his might, but it was already too late.

I swung my blade in a horizontal strike, sending an arc of divinity.

Just as Khokan grabbed his brother's hand—.

SWISH!!!!

The arc of divinity cut off their heads in one single sweep.

Thud!!

Their heads fell on the ground with a resonating thud, rolling until they came to a halt staring at the sky.

Silence lingered within the place as I stood there motionless.

The tattoos on my skin flickered… then faded.

Elyon's power had left me.

My body started to give up as I fell to my knees.

"Haha."

A low chuckle escaped my lips as I drew in deep breaths.

"I did it."

Just when I thought it was over, something shone in my hand.

'...'

Squinting my eyes, I looked up at the sky.

And—.

My heart sank as I noticed hundreds of huge chunks of mirror floating in the sky.

In one of those mirrors, I could see the heads of the twins.

And—.

They could see their own.

"Come forth."

Khokan and Vikoka's voices echoed within the place as I forced my body to move.

But....I was already too late.

"My kingdom."

The world around me turned into a blinding light, space stretched as I blinked.

There wasn't anything that resembled the place I was in.

Everything was now turned into burning lava with little to no place to move.

"It's been so long."

A mixture of two voices echoed within the place.

"Since someone has made us use our kingdoms."

I slowly looked up.

An almost fifteen-meter-tall creature loomed over me.

It had three pairs of hands, eyes, and faces.

Its skin was obsidian-black and shimmered like molten glass.

Fire pulsed through the cracks in its flesh, and behind each of its six eyes, there burned the same twisted hatred I saw in Khokan and Vikoka.

But it wasn't them. It was both of them.

Fused.

Their voices overlapped, reverberating like the grinding of boulders against bone.

"Behold… Mortal, as we are the Avatar of Desolation. Rakshaka."

One of their hands held a long purple trident and moved.

Another hand reached forward, and my own mana was sucked toward it like a tide meeting a drain.

"Now die."

I struggled to my feet.

Using the last second to move out of the path of the trajectory.

My feet barely touched solid ground before it crumbled beneath me, molten lava hissing just inches away.

Rakshaka's trident slammed into where I had stood a breath ago, vaporizing stone and atmosphere alike.

The shockwave sent molten debris flying in all directions.

I rolled across a narrow ledge of obsidian, searing pain dancing across my back.

My lungs burned.

'Think.'

"Struggling already?" Rakshaka's voice echoed like an avalanche. "Good. Let your suffering be slow."

I pressed my palm against the obsidian, whispering a single word under my breath.

"Muspelh."

Blue flames moved and the lava hardened instantly, giving me ground to stand on.

Rakshaka snarled. "You dare—!"

I didn't wait.

I used the newly cooled platform to launch myself upward, straight toward the titan's face.

One of the eyes twitched.

Six hands moved at once.

But I bent my body into a corkscrew, evading the first swipe, then rolling under a flaming slap.

As I reached his midsection, I gathered what remained of my mana and channeled it into a blade, driving it between the cracks of his ribs.

The beast roared. A gout of black flame erupted from his mouth.

Before I could move, his hand slammed into my body, sending me flying away.

'...Ahhh.'

It was only then I realized.

It's impossible to kill someone in their own kingdom.

It was a rule that had never been broken by anyone.

'...Should I summon my daughter?'

Ahh...

I don't have enough life energy for that.

If I do, then I am as good as dead.

Is there nothing that I can do?

I can't think of anything.

'...Inna?'

Hmm?

What happened?

It was only now that I realized something was incredibly wrong.

Why have I still not fallen?

I tried to move my body, but it didn't budge.

It was as if I was frozen in time.

No. I looked around only to notice everything was frozen.

Nothing moved from its place, not even the creature.

'Huh?'

A blinding light came into my view, floating down from the sky.

I blinked, and the light soon turned into a person.

Someone who emitted a suffocating pressure.

My breath hitched as I looked at the girl.

'...Nymeria?'

No, something was wrong.

Her hair was different than before—it wasn't red but a beautiful green.

The girl slowly floated toward me as my body moved to face her.

She stopped just in front of me, and for a moment… everything was silent.

Then she spoke.

"I don't have much time."

Her voice was calm, almost melodic.

"I wish we could talk for a long time but... not now."

I opened my mouth to speak, but no sound came out.

She raised her hand and gently touched my face.

Tears trickled down her face as she smiled faintly.

She drew in closer until I could feel her breath on my face.

"No matter how much you hate me."

She whispered softly, moving closer.

"I still love you."

Her lips gently touched mine, her kiss as gentle as it could be.

A sudden memory came crashing into my mind.

The kiss... felt like something that had happened before.

From the depths of my soul, a name came to my mind.

'...Delilah?'
