There were more goblins in this region than they had expected, and Hassaka's movements were indeed very quick, felling groups of goblins as they closed in on her.

The players found their rhythm in battle and quickly joined in, beginning a one-sided fight.

But as they fought, they began to feel that something was off.

Cool Colored Paper, after chopping down one of the goblins, took a step back subconsciously and said,

"Hey, do you guys get the feeling that there are more goblins than we anticipated?"

Another female player, Shadow, who wants to be devoured, using her unremarkable slender body to weave through two goblins attacking from both sides, then turned around and with a Mage's hand, burst the yolk of one of the goblin's eggs.

Then amid a chorus of wails from the goblins, she waved her magic wand and dealt a loving blow to the legs of another goblin, moving from bottom to top with a brutal swing.

As the goblin crashed to the ground, she gasped out, "Something's definitely not right; aren't there way too many of them?"

Another player, the Cursed Swordsman Salty Fish, who had an even distribution of saltiness, wielding his one-handed sword earnestly and killing a goblin in two or three strikes, took a deep breath. The cursed power in his hand swelled a bit, and with a half moon slash, he cleaved through two approaching goblins at the waist, murmuring,

"77 goblins..."

"What?"

"I've already killed 77... The density is even greater than in the Dungeon!"

Shadow, nearby, once again dodged an attack from a goblin, then her pupils shrank as she raised her magic wand in front of her, blocking a blow from a Big Goblin much larger than the others, swinging its wooden club directly onto her wand.

The 1.4-meter-tall Shadow couldn't withstand the great force, and was sent flying by the impact.

"Help help help..."

Just as she was about to fall into the circle of goblins, Shadow, suspended in mid-air, let out a high-pitched scream.

A white fluffy tail curled around her body, and just like that, she fell into a warm embrace.

With a swirl of black light that spread out like battle aura, cutting the nearby goblins in half at the waist, Hassaka held Shadow as they landed on the ground.

As the solid weight of another person pressed upon her, Shadow suddenly understood what safety felt like, and before she could even properly enjoy the sensation, she heard the wolf maid's teeth grinding quietly:

"The numbers are wrong! These goblins breed fast but die quickly, so how can there be so many amassed in such a short time? Damn it... Brother Dan and his team just cleaned up this area yesterday, so why are there so many low-level monsters emerging now, even high-level Big Goblins!"

The wolf maid hesitated for a moment.

Considering the number of monsters present, just relying on herself, even if she exhausted all her strength, she might not be able to kill that many.

She sighed, "Looks like I have to use this method."

In front of several astonished players, the Slime on Hassaka's body engulfed the surrounding goblin corpses as though it was whaling, consuming them all.

Although Kael wasn't there to activate the Gluttonous Feast, the goblins were digested faster than she had expected.

As their bodies were dissolved and converted into energy, replenishing Hassaka's body through the Symbiotic Armor, her somewhat exhausted body seemed to gradually recover.

The thought of digesting those filthy goblins made her feel a bit sick, thankfully, the Slime was in charge of the digestion, otherwise her mentality would have broken first.

Gluttonous Slime: ???

'Hassaka, you're up to no good!'

The Gluttonous Slime shrieked at Hassaka.

Hassaka completely ignored it, continuing to fight at high speed.

Seeing this, the Gluttonous Slime on her didn't make a fuss, but the ooze exposed outside imitated a vomiting expression and turned its head to spit out the residue left after digestion.
