All hands were needed on deck, so they followed David's example of deciding the roles that they were going to play.

"I will share Ophelia's picture in the Fabulous ladies gossip chat group and tell everyone that she is a thief. Do not underestimate the power of a motivated group of women who are suddenly worried that theft has become a vice of their maids." Old lady Mayfair pulled her phone out and got to work.

"I will get all the whole Elithera clan in the city on this. That stupid bitch! When I get my hands on her she will spell the word pain backwards" Luna cursed as she pulled out her phone, giving orders to the gang to begin a search for Ruth allover Citrus city. "If only I had a way of communicating with Midnight, being that he is an information merchant he may know something." She spoke softly into Luke's ear.

Luke nodded at her, agreeing with what she told him. "Whatever you are doing, I am helping." He made it clear; his words were not a suggestion.

"What can I do?" Collin asked.

Edward held his hand up to stop Edward immediately. "You just got married son, go to your wife and keep her company. Aren't you leaving for the honeymoon tomorrow? Do not let this affect your plans, we must put on a show that our lives are the same as usual and we are not aware of the enemy.

Besides I believe that it is better that you stay away from here for a while, that girl is crazy what if she hurts Shanna?" A thread of unease wove through his words.

Jennie massaged the necklace around her neck. "I agree with your father, Shanna just married into the family and now this is happening. It is not a good way to be initiated into the Mayfair's. It would be terrible if that psycho Ruth did something to hurt her so you two should stay away until we have sufficient information on her whereabouts at least." She shut her eyes and prayed otherwise.

"I can't just up and leave when the family is in danger." Collin disagreed.

"Do not worry yourself." Edward comforted his worried son. "David will lead the team that will deal with Ruth. My team on the other hand is going to look for my father and other enemies, the supernatural kind that are hiding in the founding families." The words escaped Edward before he could stop them.

The world paused for three ragged breaths, those that did not have that information said nothing because of the shock but their eyes darted with questions.

"Alright everyone sit down; I need to elaborate on this." Edward gestured, the words spewed out of him rapidly. He even skipped over some parts, forgetting that not everyone in the family was up to date on where they were concerning Cillian and the supernatural angle of the cuckoo case.

When he was done narrating the many stories interwoven within, all he got for responses were sighs and 'hmms'. The Mayfair boys, Jennie and Luna were coming to the realization that a lot of things had been going on in the family that they were not aware of.

"I am short of words. I cannot believe that my father-in-law is alive, and he has been out there all these years. I pray for his safe return." Jennie made the sign of the cross.

Shaking his head, Collin held it with his hands. Never did he imagine that he would ever hear something like this, on his wedding night of all days and times!

"That is the cherry on the top." Luna murmured, eyes adjusting to meet Luke's confused ones. Luna shook her head, gesturing that it was nothing. She did not want to be the one to tell him that Phoebe had told her demons had attended his wedding, brought gifts, shook his hand and Shanna's, danced, ate, and one had slobbered all over Evelyn with his gross tongue.

Evelyn would need ten kinds of holy water to cleanse her mouth when she finally found out about this. What if she had sex with Enigma!!!! Luna's eyes widened. What if she got pregnant?? Would Evelyn be having a demon baby?

Her eyes darted to Phoebe, wide and in a panic. She needed to remind Phoebe of this so that they could save Evelyn ASAP!!!

Andre who had been too quiet suddenly spoke. "I am still perplexed by the fact that grandpa is alive, but Phoebe's rebirth story is even crazier. Just to be certain, especially as regards this whole needing ghost energy to live. Do you have enough years to live, shouldn't we be out there capturing ghosts with jelly fish nets or something? I do not want you to run out of time Pheebs, you can't die on me." A mixed glint of fear and worry covered his eyes.

"I am all the way up to one hundred years now Andre, my battery is full." Phoebe reassured him. Her words were meant to comfort them all.

[The downside is that when I save a life unrelated to a ghost, then I lose days, weeks or years of life depending on the gravity of the situation and how I handle it.] The truth settled above her head.

"For fucks sake!" Andre's foot snapped upward in a useless kick which connected with a chair and made Luke glare at him.

"What?" Phoebe asked.

Everyone pretended to be confused, and they looked at Andre who shook his head. "I am just pissed that Ruth is back." he lied--although, it was not a lie as he was pissed about it too.

The Mayfair's minds were still on Phoebe's thought that sent them in shock. Those one hundred years could fluctuate it seemed. It meant that maybe one day the battery would run out if she was not careful.

Fear overtook Edward's body at the thought of having to bury his daughter someday. "How can we help you to maintain that battery at one hundred?" He asked prepared to do anything and everything.

"I need to help as many ghosts as possible, aunt Maureen has been helping with that, also helping the Saxon's and David has helped with that too." Phoebe responded smoothly.

Edward who had not taken his eyes off her understood what she needed, if he had known all this earlier, he could have come to a decision a long time ago. In an instant, he made his mind up about what she needed. "You should register to be tested during the annual academy search for gifted children." He dropped a bombshell proposal.
