Rebirth as a Time Dragon

Chapter 562: Chapter 562: The God of War and the Spider Queen

The Earth Elemental Lord was stripped of his divine power and temporarily imprisoned in the Pantheon.

In the depths of the Pantheon, there are specially created divine cages that suppress targets with the combined authority of the gods and the rules of the planes. Currently, the primary occupant is the Lord of Terror.

With the arrival of the Earth Elemental Lord, the Lord of Terror finally has company.

This particular Elemental Lord, considered the most difficult to deal with among the targets, was successfully captured.

Following this, the gods who journeyed to the Court of Mourning have also achieved their objectives.

The Queen of Void and Darkness, due to her lack of clear intelligence, constantly resisted the gods, making it difficult to seal and suppress her. Thus, after a not-so-intense battle, the gods who were sent to subdue her killed her on the spot in the Court of Mourning.

Since malevolent gods like the Queen of Void and Darkness, who lack intelligence, are of no benefit to the operation of the multiverse, the gods directed their followers to destroy all records related to her across countless planes and worlds. This was to obliterate any information about her existence, thereby removing any anchors that might allow her resurrection.

Once all beings in the Great Ring Multiverse completely forget the existence of the Queen of Void and Darkness, she will truly be dead.

To completely kill a god, this is generally the method used. There are no better alternatives.

"To forge the Sword of Temporal Annihilation, my godhood isn't sufficient."

"Once successful, killing a god will no longer be so troublesome."

In the Dragon's Nest, Garon contemplated the Pantheon's sanctions against the Queen of Void and Darkness, thinking silently.

Erasing all traces of a powerful god's existence requires a long time, as the Queen of Void and Darkness also had her loyal followers. They would do everything to preserve traces of their god, leaving anchors for her existence, giving her a chance to resurrect in the distant future.

"The Godhood Ranch needs to be expanded."

Before the Second Dawn War began, Garon had established several Godhood Ranches in various alternate dimensions. However, the amount of godhood collected so far is still far from enough to create the Sword of Temporal Annihilation.

Immediately, Garon took out a piece of Time Amber.

Inside was the Faceless King, sculpted to match Garon's form.

Unsealing the Time Amber, the silver dragon coiled in the Dragon's Nest, as before, drew water from the River of Time, mixing it with his own mental will, and continuously infused it into the body of the Faceless King, imprinting his own spiritual marks.

Garon's current primary task is to completely refine the Faceless King into his own avatar.

By then, the Faceless Avatar could act according to Garon's will, descending into various alternate dimensions or other limited multiverses within the main timeline. Whether it's opening more Godhood Ranches or exploring, it would be very suitable.

Garon himself resided in the Great Ring Multiverse, striving to become the Master of Time and Space within it—not just the Master of Time, but the Master of Time and Space.

Time is manifested through the continuous movement of frames of space.

The two are related.

Upon ascending to a level similar to a powerful god, Garon discovered that he could also influence space at will, especially in the Hero Domain. He could overlay different planes at will, collapse and contract space, or expand it immensely, even without using the authority of the Lord of Heroes.

The silver dragon resided in the Dragon's Nest, quietly refining the Faceless King.

Time flowed ceaselessly.

During this period, the Earth Elemental Lord's specific crimes were determined.

First, during the Dawn War, he attacked the Wind Elemental Plane, affecting the battle against the Primordial Wild God led by the Wind Elemental Queen.

Second, he resisted the Pantheon's judgment and fought against the gods.

Third, he recklessly drained the power of the Earth Elemental Plane, causing damage to its fundamental source.

The Pantheon decided on a punishment matching his crimes, striving for fairness.

They stripped him of control over the Earth Elemental Plane, deprived him of the authorities over steel, earth, and time, leaving only the most basic authority over rock, and sealed him for three thousand years.

After three thousand years, when the Earth Elemental Lord is unsealed, his godhood will fall to the level of a mid-tier god. Although he will still possess primordial god-like power, he will go from being top-tier to bottom-tier.

The four Elemental Lords were originally Chief Gods, almost invincible within their own planes.

As for the future ownership of the Earth Elemental Plane, it will depend on capabilities. If the Earth Elemental Lord has enough power, he still has a chance to reclaim dominion over the Earth Elemental Plane after three thousand years.

However, the probability is slim.

The chances of the Earth Elemental Lord returning to his peak are extremely low.

This punishment is undeniably severe.

But the crimes committed by the Earth Elemental Lord were not minor.

If he had initially complied with the gods and gone to the Pantheon for judgment, the severity of his punishment would have been at least halved.

Additionally, the authorities stripped from the Earth Elemental Lord were divided among the gods who executed the campaign. The authority over time naturally belonged to Garon. Absorbing this authority would enhance Garon's power.

The authority of the Queen of Void and Darkness was mainly granted to the malevolent gods with similar authorities who participated in the campaign.

For the gods, killing the Primordial Wild God served mainly to maintain their rule.

However, executing gods, whether through judgment or direct killing and division of power, brought immediate and clear benefits.

Furthermore, with the settling of accounts with the Queen of Void and Darkness and the Earth Elemental Lord, the other two gods in the Abyss became increasingly uneasy.

After witnessing the gods' forceful entry into the Abyss, killing the Ancient God of the Deep Sea and sealing the Lord of Terror, they felt a crisis. Before the Pantheon, the gods dared not easily set foot in the Abyss.

They didn't realize that with the establishment of the Pantheon, times had quietly changed.

Uncertain when the gods would come to exterminate them, both the God of Heart Devour and the Abyssal Spider Queen were deeply anxious.

Upon learning of the Pantheon's campaigns against the Queen of Void and Darkness and the Earth Elemental Lord, this anxiety intensified.

To prepare for a potential campaign by the Pantheon, the scheming Abyssal Spider Queen went to the first layer of the Abyss, the Abyssal Plains.

Currently, the Abyssal Plains are filled with fortresses and bastions built by devils, with countless devil legions scattered across the land.

In the Abyssal Plains, primarily occupied by devils, on a land covered in fissures and ravines, there stood a grand and rough pyramid adorned with various brutal sacrificial patterns and surrounded by piles of bones.

At the top of the pyramid resided the divine realm of the God of Heart Devour.

The dry, abrasive wind of the Abyss blew constantly, lifting the hem of a lady's dress.

Not far from the pyramid, the Spider Queen, bathed in the dark red light of the Abyss, descended.

This malicious god was once an elven goddess, possessing unparalleled beauty. However, unlike many pure and beautiful elven goddesses, her face was seductive, with a hint of malice in her eyes, and her dark, full lips added a strange allure.

At this moment, the Spider Queen wore a crown resembling intertwined spider legs, a nearly transparent lace gown highlighting her curvaceous figure.

She seemed like a black rose with thorns, beautiful yet deadly.

"King of War, Zaltak, I, the Abyssal Spider Queen Lolth, Ruler of the Dark Elves, have come to visit the Abyssal Plains."

The God of Heart Devour, this malevolent god wielded authority over war, violence, and blood, feared by many sentient beings and known as the King of War, the Bloodthirsty God.

The sun and the evil fire god threatened all life to offer sacrifices by stopping the sunrise.

Similarly, the God of Heart Devour threatened beings with endless war, demanding their worship and sacrifices, or their faith in him to avoid the ravages of war.

"Welcome, Abyssal Spider Queen."

A beam of blood light appeared at the top of the pyramid, forming a vague gate shape.

The Spider Queen smiled seductively and entered the realm of the God of Heart Devour, directly arriving at his temple, a blood-red structure with claw-like contours, exuding an aura of blood and violence.

The God of Heart Devour sat on the throne in his temple.

At this moment, this god maintained a humanoid form, appearing ferocious and savage, with sturdy arms ending in sharp, blood-red claws, and a face resembling a wild beast, with intertwined sharp teeth in his jaws.

His face always bore an expression of anger and bloodlust, making him intimidating.

A god?

He looked more like a demon.

In fact, gods in the Abyss, due to their contact with it, are influenced to some extent, displaying traits similar to abyssal demons.

Like the Abyssal Spider Queen.

She now appeared as a beautiful, voluptuous elf, but in the eyes of the God of Heart Devour, her true form was revealed.

The upper half of her body was strikingly beautiful, but from the waist down, she had a spider's body, with legs covered in black hair. Her beautiful face had numerous cold, crimson spider eyes, making her grotesque and evil. Unless one had a unique aesthetic like a true dragon, it was hard to

appreciate the true form of the Abyssal Spider Queen.

Upon entering the realm of the God of Heart Devour, the Abyssal Spider Queen directly stated her purpose.

Communicating with someone as brute and straightforward as the God of Heart Devour, being roundabout was ineffective.

"Zaltak, the Pantheon has judged the Queen of Void and Darkness and the Earth Elemental Lord."

"With their way of doing things, they will likely come for us soon."

"We are in the same situation. I hope you can form an alliance with me."

The God of Heart Devour's heavy, suppressed breathing sounded, his voice like a beast's roar, "If they dare come to the Abyss, I'll make sure they don't leave."

The Abyssal Spider Queen's eyes flickered, finding the God of Heart Devour's words laughable.

Not leave?

The Lord of Terror and the Ancient God of the Deep Sea couldn't withstand them, and the Earth Elemental Lord was suppressed in his own plane. Where do you get your confidence from? Your foolish brain?

The Abyssal Spider Queen didn't show her disdain for the God of Heart Devour. She was very good at hiding her true thoughts.

"I know you are not afraid of the Pantheon."

The Spider Queen gave him an out and continued sincerely, "But I remember, you also want to contest for the position of Abyssal King. At this critical moment, being attacked by the Pantheon will not only disqualify you from the contest but also put you at risk of falling."

The God of Heart Devour was rash and proud, but not stupid.

He understood the disparity between himself and the Pantheon but could not show fear.

If the Unbeatable God switched sides on the spot, using the Spider Queen as an offering to the Pantheon to reduce his punishment, it wouldn't be surprising.

Listening to the Spider Queen, the God of Heart Devour remained silent.

The Spider Queen's eyes flickered, she continued to coax, "Zaltak, I can tell you that I have already allied with a demon prince."

"If you are willing, you can join us to fight against the Pantheon."

"Who?"

The God of Heart Devour lifted his head slightly and asked.

"The demon prince, the Wolf Spider Miska."

"The Wolf Spider and the Daughter of Chaos, their combined power surpasses that of the King of Worms and the Slayer's Alliance. The Wolf Spider is the most likely prince to ascend to the throne."

Hearing this, the God of Heart Devour showed a dangerous look, "You know I also want to become the Abyssal King, yet you want me to ally with the Wolf Spider?"

The blood light grew more intense.

The divine realm's pressure extended to the Abyssal Spider Queen.

The Abyssal Spider Queen was just a newly ascended powerful god, better at scheming. She couldn't compare to the God of Heart Devour, who wielded authority over war and violence, especially in his own divine realm. Her life was at his mercy.

However, she did not show fear, instead smiling slightly.

"Zaltak, an alliance does not mean eternal partnership."

"It's just a temporary union against a common enemy."

"Once the Pantheon's threat is gone, we don't need to pretend with the Wolf Spider. For now, we just use the Wolf Spider's power to deal with the Pantheon."

"This ensures our safety and weakens the Wolf Spider, preparing for our future rise to the throne."

The God of Heart Devour narrowed his eyes, "Our?"

The Spider Queen smiled seductively, stepping closer to the God of Heart Devour, even daring to sit on his lap, whispering, "Every being in the Abyss dreams of being king."

The gods in the Abyss mainly reside there to gain the power of the Abyss.

The position of Abyssal King is undoubtedly their ultimate goal.

"I know my place and won't covet the throne, but I hope to be queen."

"Dirty, stupid demons are unfit to rule the Abyss. A war god like you deserves to be king. Therefore, I'm willing to stand behind you."

The God of Heart Devour looked down at the Spider Queen.

On one hand, he reminded himself that the Spider Queen was cruel and capricious, treacherous, and loved scheming, and could not be trusted.

On the other hand, he felt her words were sincere, possibly truly attracted by his power, genuinely wanting to submit to him, as he had enough charisma and power unlike ordinary gods.

"Fine, I trust you."

"We'll first ally with the Wolf Spider, then eliminate these demons after the Pantheon's threat is gone!"

"I will make you my queen when I ascend the throne."

The God of Heart Devour sat grandly, roughly kissing the Spider Queen, his actions crude, his sharp teeth making her bleed.

The Spider Queen frowned but then relaxed, accommodating his demands.

Meanwhile, the God of Heart Devour didn't notice the deep malice in the Spider Queen's eyes.

He never considered that the Elven God Corellon couldn't tame the Spider Queen and faced her betrayal. Or perhaps, he believed himself superior to Corellon, thinking he was more charming.
