Reality Quest: Lookism

Chapter 53: Chapter 51: Mission..

I'm currently writing the arc where Jin meets teen Gun in prison, but since in the canon that time period got recapped by quick panels of Gun clapping fodders, i decided to make it au and add some strong OC's since i don't believe there were no strong people or Gun would have not grown that much.

So take this as an opportunity to suggest some oc's with their fighting styles, the more detailed you are the better it will be, i will obviously decide if i will make them.

They are obviously Korean but if you don't have any names ideas i will name them myself.

Also i realized that this lookism arc will be long, as i plan to include some 1st generation au fights or lore, who knows.

Cheonliang is quite tempting...

Did yall see Daniel current strength in the last chapter 😍?

Goo walked away with the broken chair leg resting casually on his shoulder, whistling a faint tune to himself. His demeanor was relaxed, as though the brutal battle moments ago had been nothing more than an amusing pastime. He stepped lightly over the blood-streaked floor, his back turned to the battered and lifeless figure of Jin lying prone in the debris.

But then, he stopped.

His instincts flared as he turned his head slightly, narrowing his eyes. Something didn't feel right. His gaze fell on Jin's limp body, his eyes wide open, pupils dull and grey.

"Has he…?" Goo thought, tilting his head. He scrutinized Jin's still form, the faintest flicker of suspicion crossing his mind. But he dismissed it almost immediately with a shrug. "Nah.." he muttered, his voice low.

Just as he began to walk again, he heard it.

A slow, unnatural creak. Goo froze mid-step, glancing over his shoulder. His eyes widened in genuine surprise as Jin's body started to rise, almost as though some unseen force was pulling him to his feet. The blood-soaked figure staggered, his steps unsteady, swaying like a puppet with severed strings.

Goo's amusement faded, replaced by a sharp, calculating gaze. His grip on the chair leg tightened as he watched Jin's deep, gaping wounds begin to close, not naturally, but through sheer muscle control. Jin's body flexed, each contraction pulling his flesh together, temporarily sealing his injuries. The sight was grotesque yet awe-inspiring.

"Oh?" Goo muttered, his voice low and tinged with curiosity.

Jin's unstable gait gradually steadied. His shoulders rolled back, his head lifted, and his grey pupils regained their sharpness. Each step became more deliberate, more purposeful. The wavering figure was gone, replaced by someone, or something, entirely different.

Before Goo could react, Jin's fist shot forward like a missile, aimed directly at the afterimage of Goo's head. The blow hit nothing but air as Goo's agility carried him to the side, leaving a faint blur in his place.

Jin's fist followed through, the sheer force of the punch causing a small shockwave that cracked the floor beneath it. Goo, now standing a few feet away, crossed his arms leisurely. He cocked his head, a slight smirk tugging at his lips.

"Close, but not close enough." Goo teased.

Jin's next punch came faster, the trajectory perfectly aligned. Goo shifted to block, raising his crossed arms in defense. The moment Jin's fist connected, Goo's smirk disappeared, replaced by shock.

BOOM.

The impact sent Goo flying backward, his arms jarred by the force of the blow. His face contorted in pain as he twisted mid-air, the sheer power of the punch leaving a deep imprint on his forearms. He spun twice before landing on his feet, skidding to a halt several meters away. Dust and debris scattered in his wake as he came to a stop.

"What the hell…?" Goo muttered, lowering his arms and glancing at them. The imprint of Jin's fist burned into his skin, the pain still radiating.

Recoilless Strike. Jin had unleashed the new technique, and it hit harder than anything Goo had expected.

Goo looked up, his usual playful smirk replaced by something darker. He stared at Jin, who stood silently, his eyes fixed on Goo with an unsettling calmness. Jin's hand, still trembling from the strike, slowly clenched into a fist again. Then, Jin glanced at his own hand, tilting it slightly as if testing its newfound strength.

And then, Jin smiled.

It wasn't a kind smile. It wasn't a triumphant smile. It was the smile of someone who had pushed past the breaking point, someone who had embraced himself.

Goo's grin returned, sharper and more dangerous than before. "Now this is getting fun." he muttered, gripping the chair leg tighter as his aura shifted again. "Let's see how long you can keep that up."

Jin's muscles tensed, his breathing steady. There were no words, no taunts, just an unrelenting determination that radiated off him like heat.

....

I narrowed my eyes at Goo, then brought up my system to check my condition.

The tension snapped when Goo moved, his chair leg flashing in an arc toward my torso. His speed was almost blinding, but I kept my guard up, my instincts sharper than before. With a precise movement, I activated Blind Spot Strike, stepping into his motion and striking his hand with lightning speed. The impact threw his slash off course, forcing him to miss entirely.

Without hesitation, I stepped forward and drove my foot into his abdomen with all the force I could muster. Goo let out a grunt as my other leg snapped upward, a perfect Recoilless Strike landing squarely under his chin.

BOOM!

A massive shockwave rippled outward as Goo's head snapped back, his face contorted in pain. His body was launched backward, his feet barely touching the ground before his momentum carried him into a skid.

But as I moved to grab his glasses, Goo gave me a murderous glare. Before I could react, his fist slammed into my ribcage with bone-crushing force.

CRACK!

The sound echoed in my ears as pain exploded in my chest. Blood spewed from my mouth as I was hurled through the air, my body weightless from the impact.

Before I even hit the ground, Goo was already there. He leapt into the air with terrifying precision, gripping a torn curtain from the wall and wrapping it around my throat mid-flight. The chair leg followed, its jagged tip aimed directly at my previously sealed injury.

I clenched my jaw and pushed my body to react, grabbing the stick mid-thrust. But the force behind it was overwhelming. The jagged end tore through my defenses and pierced deep into my side, sending shockwaves of agony rippling through my body.

"Ahh…!" I gasped, my vision darkening as Goo's cold, pitiless eyes bore into mine. His expression told me everything: 'You shouldn't have gotten up.'

But I refused to fall!

Biting down hard on my lip, I tasted blood as I poured every last ounce of mana into my limbs. My body screamed in protest, but I ignored it, activating Recoilless Strike repeatedly.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

A flurry of strikes rained down on Goo, each one damaging him further. His body jerked from the unexpected assault, unable to maintain his footing as the relentless blows forced him back. The final strike sent him flying across the room, slamming into the far wall with a thunderous crash.

The chair leg fell from his grasp, clattering to the floor.

I staggered, my body pressed against a wall for support. My HP flashed dangerously low, sitting at a mere 3 points. My vision blurred, and every breath felt like swallowing glass. Blood streamed down my chin, but I kept my focus on Goo, who was already picking himself up from the rubble.

His face twisted in rage, veins bulging in his neck as he began marching toward me with murderous intent. His footsteps were heavy, deliberate, and terrifying.

I couldn't move. My body was at its limit. But I couldn't help the small, defiant grin that spread across my face.

"Fuck you!" I spat, blood spraying with each word. My trembling hand rose, holding Goo's glasses aloft.

CRACK!

The glasses shattered between my fingers, shards falling to the ground like glittering rain.

Goo froze mid-step, his eyes wide in disbelief. But the moment lasted only a second. In an instant, he was in front of me, the sharp tip of the chair leg just centimeters from my eye socket.

But before it could pierce, the world turned gray.

I want to make clear that this current Goo is not as strong like the Goo of the latest canon Chapters, so it's not impossible to last a bit against him.
