Chapter 483: Dead?
The Leaders attacked ferociously, all three at once and with great momentum. Their blows were swift, but one of them, the most injured, was grabbed roughly by Gray's hand. Gray moved out of the attack range of the other two as he took the guy with him.
He slammed his body into a nearby building, destroying it in the process. "I've been watching you for a while now, and you've been really hurt all this time. Is your determination strong enough to get up whenever I knock you down? Or is there some curse on you?" Gray spoke as he looked at the man in his hand, who was bloodied.
This one didn't respond; he threw a hard punch at the front. Gray didn't expect it, so he was pushed back.
'How strange.' He frowned and looked up. One of his hands reached up almost unconsciously to catch a punch coming towards his stomach while his face dodged.
"The games are over scumbags. It's time for it all to end." The coldness in his words surprised them, but without them being able to react, both of Gray's hands came to his breasts and slammed them simultaneously toward the ground.
A huge crater opened up as the blow sent a tremor throughout the city. Both of them couldn't help but vomit blood as they felt such a powerful blow in their flesh. 'Impossible... This is too powerful...' No matter how they thought, Gray Allen's power was totally out of their league.
But this was just the beginning of the end.
Gray jumped a little and looked at the three of them there. His eyes flashed for a moment, and two Energy Waves shot out of his body with great power, slamming ferociously into them. The impact created a much larger crater, and the three Leaders shot out to different sides like puppets having their strings cut.
Their bodies rolled on the ground and left a trail of blood in the wake of such an impact. But Gray frowned. 'They must be influenced by one of those curses. Their bodies are abnormally hard.' He thought and shot off towards one of them.
He planned to end this once and for all.
But suddenly, a glow appeared in front of him. 'Magic?' Gray brought his arms forward to defend himself, and the explosive fire magic soon hit him.
He shot backward. 'It stings.' He looked up and saw the two twins staring at him.
"A Domain of Adam? This bastard has royal blood in him." He couldn't help but be surprised to see what it was all about.
'Didn't they say his power was to replicate? I heard my father mention it once.'
Gray still maneuvered in the air and landed nicely, but suddenly, a wave of fire attacks burst upon him. They were a lot of rather annoying fireballs, so Gray had to dodge them.
"Gray Allen, give up. You're no match for us." A voice came from behind the fireballs, catching Gray's attention.
The other twin was carrying two daggers in his hands, and many daggers were flying behind him—more than 40 powerful daggers.
When Gray saw him, he motioned to the three leaders, and they quickly rose to make a pincer attack.
Gray frowned and looked closer. 'All these daggers... do they have life in them?' Gray was in shock. The irises of his eyes were twirling gently as he investigated these guys.
He couldn't believe he ever had to see daggers that had their own life. That was the most unusual thing he had ever seen after Matthew.
'Well, let me see what you'll do, you little scum.' He thought and started running towards where he was coming from. The fireballs landed right where he had been standing, but one managed to hit him.
Even so, Gray managed to pierce it ferociously and reached the other side. He unleashed a solid blow to the front, where the guy with the daggers came from. The dagger guy also struck where Gray came from while many daggers rushed toward Gray's body.
Still, at that instant, a shout came from behind Gray. Discover stories with empire
"BROTHER, IT'S NOW!"
"DAGGERS MYRIAD!"
At the same time, above Gray Allen, the mage attacking him grinned fiercely. "Time to die, Gray Allen! Domain of the Fire God's Curse!"
A myriad of fire attacks were created above everyone, then.
And underneath, at every place where the fire had struck, a strange, controlled fire began to spread at great speed. It spread as if it were burning straw, and in a second, it reached Gray's legs, pinning him to the ground like strange, fire-created chains.
At that instant, the man behind Gray, who had tricked him with his Path of Deception, leaped into the air, and a myriad of daggers were arrayed all over the sky behind him and above the fire magics.
All the daggers seemed to have a life of their own, demanding to be thrown.
And as if it was a move prepared in advance, all the fireballs surrounding Gray were shot one after another at great speed toward him. Behind it and deceptively, without Gray noticing, the daggers began to fall toward him.
Suddenly, an intense explosion rose in that section of the city.
Moreover, it was not a uniform explosion. Each time, the explosion increased in intensity and brought intense heat to the entire city.
Nearby buildings were destroyed and returned to dust. Moreover, it happened so fast that no one expected it, so almost no one could escape, and many people died.
Still, the two twins were not satisfied. They immediately prepared a new wave of attacks while instructing the Leaders to get ready.
Still, nothing happened even when the explosion had passed, and only fire and smoke remained in sight.
"Did he die?"
"Gray Allen died?"
The questions couldn't help but leave the minds of the witnesses, including the two twins, who were the same way, slightly hopeful and smiling.
Gray Allen's death could mean a lot to them.
But, just at those moments, snorting came to them with a slight mocking tone.
"Hmph, if that guy could die so easily, what would become of this world? They'd all be monsters."
"Haha, you're right, old friend. I wonder if by attacking him between all of us, we could kill him; what do you think, Murphy?"
