Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 500: The Two Hidden Races

After the Parting, only the Dragons, Demons, Humans, Elves, Beasts, and Dwarven race remained. Even back then, the Beasts included the Dragons, meaning there were only five.

So, for Vexthra to say there were seven, something ought to be wrong somewhere.

"Actually, even back then, there were five known continents, simply because the other two isolated themselves from the other five races," she sighed.

"The sixth race back then was the Marine Race. They are creatures of the sea. I don't know if you are aware of this, but there is a sea in this world known as the Black Sea," Kent nodded.

He had already seen it when he battled the sect master after he and the ladies rescued Nara and Zaila.

"That is their territory. Back then, it was just a small island nobody dared to traverse. However, after the Parting, it expanded, creating a blockage that prevented other races from casually crossing to other continents.

Only a few saw or interacted with them back then, and from what they said, the Marine Race was more terrifying than anyone could ever imagine.

So we left them alone. And while I would love to say you should explore there, it would be best if you focused on your level now and built your strength first.

If they want you to explore their region, they will come to you—and trust me, you should definitely go with them. For nobody, as far as I am aware, has ever visited them."

Kent became quiet as he pondered on what he just heard. 'An entire race hidden under water and for years, it hadn't been explored.'

He pndered. 'I most defineely would go swimming one of this days'

If only he knew the Hand had already made contact with the Sea race and even made him an enemy that would be hunted down to the end of the world.

Vexthra of course choose to continue...

"I don't know if you remember what I told you when you told me about Li Hua's unique body constitution." Kent nodded recalling what Vexthra told him.

I told you to take her to the Dark Region," Kent nodded again.

"Well, back then, there was a race many rumored to be Vampires, hidden in that region. Many claimed to have confirmed it, saying they are indeed Vampires. However, nobody can boldly claim it with certainty.

Still, I know there are people there, and they are all beings with great magic. I knew this when I became immortal. Back then, we immortals could travel down to the mortal realm for a brief period.

I came down for just that region. However, I found something I can't talk about because the laws prohibit it. However, before you leave this world, you should really visit there.

You would have to enter that region to know more. But the world back then was connected, and life was rather good.

There were rivalries, but not on a scale that would cause races to clash with each other."

"Then what brought about the Parting—or what brings about Parting in most worlds?"

If the world used to have people stronger than the Core Formation stage, then why part the world and place a limit on it? That just doesn't make any sense.

Why place a limit when the world could keep going as it was?

"The Parting isn't something I can beat my chest and say I understand—I don't. However, from what I know, worlds are just like us humans.

First, see the world as a mortal from your world. They are born, go through their teenage stage, and eventually become adults who, at some point, will die. It's a cycle.

However, in the case of the world, I think when it gets to the stage where it would die, instead of dying, it would rather evolve.

Now, I don't know why that causes war between races, but the only explanation I can give is that the world may undergo some tribulations, which causes the Parting. Of course, not all worlds are parted—not even in the high worlds.

Actually, don't take anything I said about the Parting too seriously. For all we know, there is something much deeper going on here."

Kent remained silent for a while, letting all he had just learned sink in. The fact that a whole god didn't know something so important meant it was meant to remain hidden from all.

A world is born, grows, and evolves. In some aspects, it becomes a High World. Some become Immortal Worlds; some even become gods and unique worlds.

That wasn't something Kent could comprehend at his current stage, so he was a little disturbed.

"Why does it feel like something dangerous is hanging over us?" Kent asked, but Vexthra couldn't confirm his suspicion.

"I have another question. Call me crazy, but can a world talk?" Kent asked, and Vexthra's expression became puzzled—perhaps she was catching on to the madness Kent was thinking about.

"Kent, what are you thinking?" Vexthra asked, her brow furrowed.

"Nothing crazy. But since I want answers and I'm not getting any, I might as well ask the world and see if she or he can tell me something. I mean, wouldn't you want to know what this Parting is all about—or perhaps what happens to the world during and after the Parting?"

"I mean..." Vexthra most definitely would want to know. So, while she knew this idea Kent was forming into a potential plan would most likely be dangerous, she couldn't help considering it.

"Maybe we should put a pin in it here for now. Messing with the world can be a bad thing, you know.

The world is protected by the Heavenly Laws, and while you may be the universe's favorite, you are not invincible in the face of the laws." Vexthra knew the brat was serious, so she didn't shut him down immediately.

Kent's personality is one of focus. Whatever he puts his mind to—no matter how long it takes—he will get it done and perhaps even go beyond.

"Fine. We can put a pin in it, but I won't let it sleep for long." Kent smiled and then told his three assistants to start looking for a way to get it done.

"So we have a whole race in the sea that's even more powerful than the Dragons, huh? Makes me wonder what these potential Vampires will look like—and their strength."

"I also would want to know about the Marine Race. Of course, since I can't use my god powers in the open world, I will depend on you to help me find out." Kent nodded to her words.

"To think not even a god knows everything in this world... makes me wonder what it's made of. Perhaps after my brief talk with the world, I'll find out," he laughed.

Vexthra just shook her head and chose to tell Kent more about the world before the Parting. Two hours later, the lady returned with the herbs Kent ordered.
