Walking into the classroom, Chabashira-sensei looked all over the classroom in surprise. Everyone was waiting impatiently for the results.

"Sensei, you said the results would be released today, but when exactly?"

"There's no need for you to be that excited about it, Hirata. You probably passed without a problem."

"… Even so, when will they be released?"

"I'll do it now. There wouldn't be much time for certain procedures of we do it after school."

At the words "certain procedures", some students had visible reactions.

"What… what do you mean?"

"Don't worry, I'll explain it now."

She stuck the paper with everyone's name and score on the board.

As usual, my name was at the top with a perfect score on each subject but surprisingly, Horikita's scores ranged from 50 to 60.

I then looked for my friends' score. Yotsuba had the lowest with a 49 in English, which should be safe and even Sakura managed to get at least 42 points. With this, no one among my friends and maids should have to drop out of the school.

Looking at the bottom of the list, three students stood out with their extremely low score.

"As you can see, the are the students who got red marks. One red mark would be enough to get expelled but all of them got nothing but red marks. It makes me wonder if you ever learned anything in this school."

"Wait, sensei. Ike got 34 on social studies which would be above the passing grade."

"Sorry but, the passing grade of this midterm is 35."

"Huh? You said it was 30 during the previous test."

"It was the case for that test. For every tests and exams, each class have their own passing grade, any that is half of the class' average rounded up. In this exam, the class average was 70.14 and the half is 35.07 which is rounded up to 35. Any score lower than that is a red mark."

"Impossible… Does that mean… I'm expelled?"

"Although it was a short time, you did well. After the homeroom, you'll have to follow me to take care of the procedures. You will be asked to fill up the dropout form, but you will need a legal guardian for that. We will contact them after the homeroom. You'll also have to pack up your belongings."

Seeing everything progress so casually, everyone knew that it was really happening.

"The rest of you, good job for passing. On the finals, please work hard and do the same to pass the test. Then, onto the next topic…"

"S-sensei, Are the three of them really dropping out? Is there no way to save them?"

Hirata tried to help them even though they hated him and insulted him.

"Since they got red marks, of course they have to drop out of the school."

"…Can we see their exam sheets?"

"Even if you look at it, you wouldn't find any mistake in grading. Well, I expected you guys too make a fuss about it."

Taking out their exam answer sheets, she passed them to Hirata. He looked through every question with a gloomy face. He only looked at one sheet before giving up.

"There are… no mistakes."

"If that's all then let's talk about the next topic."

"Wait sensei, when Hirata asked you earlier, you evaded his question "is there a way to save them?" meaning there should be a way right? Does it involve private points?"

"Good deduction, Horikita. As I said at the beginning, points can be used to buy anything in the school. So if you want the school to revoke the decision of expelling someone, you'll have to pay 20 millions private points and 300 class points."

"20 millions… that much?"

"Of course. That's how much the school values its decision. Any other question?"

"Sensei, you said the class have to "pay" 300 CP so if there's not enough, does it mean the class wouldn't be able to save the expelled person or would the school allow the class to be indebted and would pay it later?"

"Good question, Himekawa. It depends on if the school think the class would be able to pay back the debt later or not. If it isn't the case, the school wouldn't allow it."

"Himekawa-kun, does that means you're willing to help Ike and the others?" Hirata asked with some hope in his eyes.

"Of course not. I'm only asking in case I'll need it in the future."

The glimmer of hope in his eyes faded as I said that.

"Anyway, let's continue the homeroom if there's no questions."

"Then, sensei. I'd like to ask something."

"Yes, Ayanokoji."

"You said points can buy anything. Does that means we can buy exam points with our private points?"

Chabashira-sensei's expression seemed to have brighten up a little. Maybe she though the class has a lot of hope of reaching the class A seeing students with good insight in the class.

"As you said, you can buy exam points with private points but it's not cheap. According the rules, you'll need 100,000 PP for an exam point for midterms and it would be more expensive for finals the closer to graduation you are."

"100,000 PP?" The students were stunned hearing that. 100,000 Pokedollards would be the same as about 6500$ in my previous life. And that's only for one point.

"Hey, Himekawa-kun. Can you pay for it? I'll pay you back no matter what I have to do."

"Hirata, there should be more than 10 millions to pay. Try to do some calculations and you'll find it's almost impossible for a single person to do it. Or is it that you want to burden our classmates with your selfishness?"

"Selfishness? It's you who's selfish! Shouldn't it normal for classmates to help each other?" Hirata started to raise his voice.

"I know I'm selfish but it's also your case for forcing your own ideology onto the others."

"Wha… that wasn't my aim! It wouldn't hurt you to help them right?"

"Sorry but I don't see any benefit for that. Also I'll never help trashes like Sudou and Yamauchi."

"Take that back!" This time, Hirata showed his anger before the mentioned guys.

"Huh?"

"I said take that back. You shouldn't treat anyone as a trash. I would never allow it."

"Calm down Hirata. We're still in the middle of the homeroom. If you have anything to say about that, do it later. Anyway Himekawa, you're saying you won't do anything for them right?"

"Well, I have nothing against Ike so depending on what he has to offer, I'll be willing to help him."

I really hate Yamauchi and Sudou's short temper really annoy me.

"T-then, what if I become your lackey? You can order me do anything. I don't see any other way to be useful."

"I see you know your own limit. Then okay. I think you can grow without a problem in the future and your proposition if somehow interesting so I'll help you. You just need to become my lackey as you said."

"Yes! Thank you very much, Himekawa!"

I sent the required points to raise his score to Chabashira-sensei. I had to pay 2.7 millions for him.

"Hey, Himekawa, pay for me too. I'll make sure you won't regret it."

"Yamauchi, I'd be happier without you in this school so nope."

"H-huh? The fuck? Don't be selfish, just pay for me. That would be better for you."

I didn't want to argue with that idiot since it would never end so I said to the teacher,

"Sensei, let's continue the homeroom. You still have something to say right?"

"Wha…"

"That's right. So Yamauchi, sit down and quiet down for now."

"But sensei…"

"Enough!"

Chabashira-sensei raised her voice which caused him to compel.

"The next topic would be to tell you about some rules of the school. When a student get expelled due to a failure, their class would lose 100CP. But in your case, since there's no point left, you wouldn't lose anything.

"Concerning the midterms and the finals, they don't only have negative points. Once the exams are finished, you'll get the same amount of points as your class average rounded up added onto your class points.

"Also, you may think that you wouldn't get any points this month since you'll get 70CP while losing 200CP but let me tell you. Any points you lose would be subtracted immediately but the points you gain would only be added on the first day of the next month just before the allowances would be sent to reach students. Also, class changes only occurs on the first day of each months.

"Any question?"

"Sensei, is there no other way to save them?"

"Hirata, we have already talked about that and yes, there's no other way. If there's no question then I'll end the homeroom here. Yamauchi, Sudou, come with me. I have to take the two of you to the chairman's office."

"No, I won't accept it! I'll fill a complaint to the school!"

"What a coincidence, I was about to take you to the chairman so you should be able to complain as much as you want."

"Why… WHY? Why do I have to drop out? It wasn't my fault. That's right it's all Himekawa's fault!!"

He took up his chair and swung it down. His seat was on Nino's right and since he didn't move from where he was, his swing was aiming at Nino even though he was looking at me.

Seeing the danger, I immediately used my psychic power to send the chair away then in anger, I lifted him up on his neck with it before boosting my aura power to create ten aura knives around him. Seeing that, Ayanokoji immediately used his own psychic power to hold on the knives and trying to destroy them but he failed to do the latter.

"Himekawa-kun, calm down. Think about the consequence it would have."

"Tch."

Ayanokoji's word calmed me down a bit and I canceled my power which made Yamauchi fall down before coughing with a scared expression.

Chabashira-sensei who was frozen for a moment regained her composure and immediately took Yamauchi away.

"Nino, are you okay?"

"Yeah. You know, darling, I was actually ready to protect myself."

As she said that, she showed me her arm which was wrapped in a fairy type energy. I settled she was ready to take action.

"I see. I'm relieved knowing that."

Our classmates seemed to be pale and some were even shivering due to the fact they almost saw a murderer so they couldn't focus on the lessons during the day. Hirata was really gloomy and didn't speak even a bit after the homeroom.

Don't forget the power stones.
