The moment Leon finished speaking, Sun Wuming vanished from his spot.

Leon's eyes widened in shock, and by the time he came to his senses, his opponent had suddenly appeared right in front of him.

Marni shouted in a low voice.

There it was, Leon's ace Pokémon - Charizard!

The same Pokémon that had thoroughly defeated her at last year's Galar Star Tournament.

But the moment Charizard's Dragon Claw made contact with Sun Wuming's incoming fist.

Despite being Champion-level and even capable of matching Third-tier Legendary Pokémon, Charizard instantly showed signs of pain.

And its trainer Leon was sent flying along with it, landing with a "splash" in the sea behind them.

As an old Pokémon fan, Su Ming had never seen this Pokémon before.

"Could it be a new Pokémon added after I quit?"

Sun Wuming muttered to himself.

In his previous life, though he was an old Pokémon fan, he had rage-quit after watching the XY episode where Ash's Greninja was defeated by Alan's Mega Charizard.

As a result, he hadn't watched any of the subsequent series.

At this point, Charizard had flown out of the sea carrying its trainer Leon.

"This... this is beyond my expectations..."

"Mr. Sun, would you be interested in joining our Galar League? If you're inclined, I'd be happy to recommend you to Chairman Rose."

Leon offered.

Just as Rose had discovered and nurtured his own talent years ago.

As the Champion of the Galar League, Leon was constantly looking for promising trainers to inject fresh blood into the Galar League.

Although this man before him was quite unusual, being strong himself rather than having strong Pokémon...

Well, he was definitely talented, and recruiting him to Galar couldn't hurt.

The bear disciple sat at the other end of the table, nodding vigorously while devouring a grilled fish twice its size.
