Phoenix Reborn In One Piece

Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Contact with the Small Sky Island

"It's almost done!"

"Nami, the only thing left on the map of Alabasta is the capital, Alubarna, right?" Nojiko wiped the sweat from her forehead as she spoke.

"That's right, just Alubarna," Nami confirmed, pulling out ice-cold juice from her space door and handing it out to everyone.

The group grabbed their drinks and began gulping them down.

"Ha~"

"It's so hot in Alabasta," Leah said, gulping down half a large glass of juice before finally feeling a bit better.

The Dream Crew was currently resting at the base of a rocky hill on the edge of a desert near Alubarna.

Everyone had miscalculated. They initially thought it would only take three to five days to map out Alabasta, but it ended up taking nearly half a month!

Alabasta was simply too hot. At first, the temperatures near water sources were bearable, but once they entered the real desert—areas with no water—the heat shot up dramatically.

When mapping those regions, they only worked in the early morning and late afternoon, spending the midday hours avoiding the sun.

"Hey!"

"Ryuen, what are you doing up there?" Kuina shouted at Ryuen, who was wandering around at the top of the hill.

"I'm watching the birds," came Ryuen's lazy reply from the hilltop.

"Ah~"

"I'm so jealous of Ryuen. Out of the nine of us, he's the only one who isn't bothered by the heat," Daisy said as she lay flat on a blanket, sighing.

Hearing this, even Robin, who had spent nearly a lifetime in Alabasta's sun, nodded in agreement.

At the top of the hill, a few trickster birds stood obediently in front of Ryuen, receiving a lecture. These birds had just tried to steal the crew's luggage.

However, before they could put their plan into action, Ryuen had caught them.

"So, you're saying it hasn't rained anywhere in Alabasta for the past two weeks?" Ryuen asked seriously.

"Squawk!"

"Got it. You can go now," Ryuen said, waving them off after getting the information he wanted.

The trickster birds, relieved, immediately flew away from the hill. Ryuen then jumped down and headed back to the crew's shaded camp.

"Ryuen, what were you talking about with those birds just now?" Nami asked curiously as she handed him a glass of iced juice.

"Nothing much. I just asked when it might rain here. They said it hasn't rained anywhere in Alabasta for almost two weeks," Ryuen replied, taking the juice.

"No rain anywhere in Alabasta for two weeks? Does that mean it hasn't even rained in Alubarna?" Hog asked with a frown.

"That's right. It looks like Vivi and her people are in big trouble," Ryuen said with a heavy tone.

Nami closed her eyes and focused on the climate.

"It's too dry. In this kind of weather, there's no sign of rain at all," she said.

Watching Nami's serious expression, Ryuen suddenly thought of the small sky island Visalia.

When he was younger, he'd thought about sending Nami to Visalia to learn weather science from the old men there.

Now that they were on the Grand Line, it was time to locate that sky island.

Ryuen decided he'd have Lindgas look into how to contact Visalia. Unlike other sky islands, the people of Visalia occasionally did business with drought-stricken countries.

That meant there was a way to reach them.

With the World Government's intelligence, finding a way to contact Visalia should be easy.

Having made up his mind, Ryuen turned to Nami.

"Nami, give me the Den Den Mushi for contacting Lindgas. I need him to handle something," he said.

"What do you need Lindgas for?" Nami asked curiously but handed over the Den Den Mushi anyway.

The others were equally curious.

Ryuen didn't explain, simply dialing Lindgas' number.

"Nami, is Lindgas that Celestial Dragon you guys mentioned?" Robin asked softly.

"That's right, it's him," Nami confirmed with a nod.

Robin had always assumed Ryuen and his crew were directly connected to the World Government.

It wasn't just her—this was what most people across the seas believed.

It wasn't until she joined the Dream Crew that she learned the truth: Ryuen and his crew had somehow taken control of a highly influential Celestial Dragon.

At the time, Robin had been completely shocked by their audacity.

After all, Celestial Dragons were world nobles—practically gods to ordinary people.

And yet, this "god" was now under the control of Ryuen and his crew.

It was an unbelievable, insane feat.

~~~~~~
In Mary Geoise, Lindgas was hosting a grand banquet.
He was dressed in extravagant clothing, surrounded by a group of Celestial Dragon nobles, and wore a beaming smile as he basked in this moment of glory.
Currently, Lindgas was one of the most admired figures among the Celestial Dragons, earning immense respect.
This was all thanks to the Dream Exploration Team's remarkable achievement of creating a world map, which even garnered praise from the Five Elders.
With the recognition of the Five Elders, Lindgas's status among the Celestial Dragons had risen even higher.
The lavish banquet hall was decorated in opulent splendor, filled with rare delicacies and fine wine.
Music filled the air as the Celestial Dragons indulged in the joyful atmosphere.
At this moment, Lindgas was fully immersed in his glory, temporarily putting aside his inner worries.
He chatted and laughed with the other Celestial Dragons, savoring the attention and honor that came with his status, for in this world of vanity, position and reputation were everything.
A slave maid suddenly approached Lindgas, her face showing signs of nervousness.
Seeing her arrive, Lindgas instantly grew tense. After excusing himself from the surrounding Celestial Dragons, he followed the maid to a secret room.
"Where's the Den Den Mushi?" Lindgas asked anxiously.
"Here, it just started ringing, so I came to get you right away."
As she spoke, the maid retrieved a Den Den Mushi from her chest and handed it to Lindgas.
After giving it to him, she quickly exited the room and ordered that no one should come near.
"Honorable Master, hello. May I ask why you're contacting me this time?" Lindgas asked cautiously.
"Lindgas, there's no need to be so nervous. We've been working well together, haven't we? I'm not going to harm you," Ryuen's calm voice came through the Den Den Mushi.
"Y-yes, of course~~~"
"Ryuen-sama, may I ask what you need this time?"
Hearing Ryuen's composed tone and sensing no anger, Lindgas finally relaxed.
"This time, I need you to find a way to contact the Sky Island Visalia. Once you have it, inform me immediately," Ryuen said directly, wasting no time.
"Sky Island Visalia? Understood, Ryuen-sama. I've got it. I'll contact you as soon as I find it."
Lindgas repeated the name Visalia several times in his mind, worried he might forget it later.
"Alright, that's all for now."
*Click.*
After the Den Den Mushi disconnected, Lindgas let out a long sigh of relief.
 His feelings were complicated.
On one hand, he felt humiliated by being controlled by the Dream Exploration Team. On the other, he couldn't deny that their actions had brought him immense glory.
This left him feeling deeply conflicted.
However, now wasn't the time to dwell on these emotions—he needed to quickly find a way to contact Visalia.
