The Logia-type Steam Fruit was previously possessed by a CP0 vice-director. After being killed by Li Yuan, the fruit resurfaced in the New World, where it was found and auctioned by the Infinite Pirates, eventually being secretly purchased by Yadina. Aside from a select few, no one knew the fruit was in the hands of the Infinite Pirates.

"Dad, I want the Comet Fruit!" Ares declared, having already decided on his choice. He quickly picked it from the list, eager for its powers.

"The Comet Fruit? It allows you to create a comet-like energy aura and fly through the sky like a comet. If developed well, it can grant you the speed of a comet and unleash powerful comet-like impacts. Are you sure about your choice?" Li Yuan asked seriously, looking at Ares.

Li Yuan believed the available Devil Fruits weren't the best and had hoped to find a Mythical Zoan fruit for Ares, believing them generally superior. However, Ares was determined.

"Dad, I've made up my mind. I want this Comet Fruit!" Ares replied confidently. He had studied the list thoroughly and was set on this fruit, believing in his ability to develop its powers.

"If you're sure, then here it is. I hope you develop it well, as this will be your lifelong ability."

"Remember, once you eat the Devil Fruit, you can't swim, and you'll be weakened by Seastone..." Li Yuan explained, handing the fruit to Ares while reiterating important knowledge.

Though Ares was already aware of these basics, Li Yuan patiently repeated them.

"Ugh!!!" Ares grimaced after taking a bite of the Devil Fruit, nearly retching from the taste.

"Ares, you must eat the entire fruit. Don't waste a bite, or it will affect the fruit's powers and development!" Akame instructed seriously.

"I'll eat it!" Ares replied, tears in his eyes, pinching his nose as he forced himself to finish the fruit.

Totto Land, Cake Island:

On the desolate outskirts of Cake Island, Charlotte Linlin gritted her teeth, wearing gravity bracelets, as she pulled three mountains behind her with great effort.

"Go, Mom, you're the best!"

"Just two more minutes, you can do it!"

"Mom's amazing, even better than before!"

The mountains and the chains linking them to Linlin were all Homies, and they encouraged her to keep going with her training. This scene would shock Li Yuan, as it was a rare sight to see Charlotte Linlin training.

In Li Yuan's understanding, Charlotte Linlin relied on her natural talent to reach her current level, having never undergone formal training. Her exceptional talent was somewhat squandered due to her focus on having children, which slowed her progress, yet she remained one of the world's top powers.

What would her strength reach if she trained? No one knew. Unfortunately, Linlin realized this too late, as her body had passed the peak growth period. While training would still enhance her abilities, the gains wouldn't be as significant as in her youth.

"Mom, it's finally over!" After an hour, Linlin dropped the chains and sat down, wiping sweat from her brow.

With her immense strength, ordinary training was ineffective. She needed such methods to improve her stamina and power. Although she had committed to training, it was limited to an hour daily, though she wore the gravity bracelets at full strength all day.

"Li Yuan, Roger, one day I'll defeat you both and take your territories!" Linlin vowed, recalling the swordsmanship tournament where she realized she wasn't their equal. This realization spurred her to start training and enhance her strength.

Her efforts paid off. Initially, she could only pull one mountain with the gravity bracelets but could now move three. Despite her seemingly simple-minded demeanor, Linlin was astute.

She understood that, as a woman, few pirates would join her, so she relied on her strong genes to have children who could serve as her officers and fighters. She avoided conflicts in Totto Land to protect her growing children, planning to participate in the New World's power struggles once they matured.

Knowing her forces were insufficient, she used her powers to create thousands of Homies, ensuring she wouldn't be outnumbered by other pirates.

Aware of her own limitations, she realized the need to train, enhancing her strength to surpass other pirates.

"Mom, the Roger Pirates are approaching Totto Land," a Homie reported as Linlin prepared to rest.

"Roger? With Shiki searching for him everywhere, he's come to my territory. What's he planning?"

"Gather the troops and let's meet Roger!" Linlin commanded, eager to test her improved strength against him.

"Roger, is this really a good idea?" Rayleigh asked, wiping non-existent sweat from his brow.

"Shiki's gone mad searching for us, and now we're provoking Charlotte Linlin. We might end up pursued across the New World."

"Hahaha, Rayleigh, don't worry. My plan is foolproof!" Roger laughed heartily.

"I don't know about your plan, but why am I the one doing the dirty work?" Jabba would have protested, knowing Roger often left him with the tough jobs after coming up with schemes.

"Captain, Captain, Charlotte Linlin is here!"

"Whoa, that ship has eyes, a nose, and a mouth, and it can sing. Is that even a ship?"

"Is that Charlotte Linlin? Just as the rumors say, a beauty!"

The Roger Pirates were astonished by the sight of the Queen Mama Chanter approaching. Unlike typical ships, it seemed alive, singing as it sailed. And Linlin, not yet overweight, was a striking figure, though her height, strength, and numerous husbands made her unappealing to them.

"Hahaha, so this is the power of the Soru Soru no Mi, infusing life into inanimate objects to create Homies!" Roger marveled.

"Turning objects into living things? That's incredible! If she could animate entire islands, it'd be like Shiki's power!" Buggy exclaimed, not even noticing his runny nose.

"Mom, Roger, and Shiki are searching for you all over the New World, and yet you've come to my territory. What do you want?" Linlin demanded, wary of Roger's intentions.

"Hahaha, Charlotte Linlin, I heard your cakes are delicious, so I came to try them," Roger laughed, attempting to deflect.

"Roger, do you think I'm a fool? If you're not honest, then get out of Totto Land!" Linlin snapped, angered by his transparent lie.

"Charlotte Linlin, I'm telling you, I'm going to Cake Island to taste your delicious cakes. If you don't like it, fight me!" Roger declared, drawing his sword, Ace, and pointing it at Linlin with a fearless grin.

The Roger Pirates feared no one except the Flying Pirates and the Infinite Pirates; they acted with impunity.

"Roger, you're dead!" Linlin roared, unable to tolerate his audacity.

Napoleon transformed into a giant sword in her hand, accompanied by Zeus and Prometheus. The sky darkened as massive air currents gathered around Napoleon, infused with Haki, unleashing a storm of red lightning.

"Spear of Elbaf: Ikoku!" she shouted, employing a giant's technique that suited her perfectly. Without considering Haki and swordsmanship, her version of the Spear of Elbaf was even more potent than Li Yuan's.

The mighty attack, carrying immense impact and piercing force, surged towards the Oro Jackson. If it hit, the ship would be destroyed instantly.

With Linlin attacking, Roger naturally wouldn't stand by.

"Divine Departure!" Roger countered, his sword crackling with red lightning as he blocked Linlin's attack with overwhelming Haki.

"Linlin's power is incredible, comparable to Li Yuan's two years ago," Roger noted internally.

"Mom, someone is causing trouble on Cake Island! It's Jabba from the Roger Pirates!" A Homie reported urgently as Linlin prepared to fight Roger.

"What? How did Jabba get onto Cake Island?" Linlin scanned the Roger Pirates and confirmed Jabba was missing.

Even Linlin could see through Roger's plan. His confrontation was a diversion, allowing Jabba to infiltrate Cake Island. She didn't know his goal but was certain it would be infuriating.

"Return!" Linlin ordered, realizing the trap and needing to protect her territory.

"Roger, you're dead meat!" Linlin vowed, knowing she couldn't catch him without defeating him first.

Despite her anger, Linlin knew pursuing Roger was futile. The Roger Pirates had three top fighters; she struggled against Roger alone. If Rayleigh and Jabba joined, she'd surely lose.

"Get back to Cake Island and see what Jabba did!" Linlin commanded, boarding the Queen Mama Chanter in a fury.

"We're on our way, Mom!" The ship, imbued with Linlin's soul, sailed autonomously back to Cake Island, functioning like an AI-driven vessel.
