Rowen still couldn't quite figure out where this group got the confidence to cause trouble at his G-10 base.

With Kuma, it made some sense. Before becoming a Shichibukai, he had a bounty of 296 million berries, a testament to his immense threat level. As everyone knows, the government issues bounties based on the threat a person poses, so rather than ranking someone's strength solely by their bounty, it's more accurate to divide them into tiers.

For those with a bounty over 100 million, the courage and determination they possess are on an entirely different level compared to those under that mark.

Kuma's decision to tread the path of infiltration with such resolve more than justified his bounty, even if Rowen had easily defeated him now. The fact remained: someone with ability remains formidable, no matter how many times you try to step on them.

However, here at G-10, Rowen was the most formidable of all! Not just anyone could step foot here and walk away unscathed.

Since they dared to come, they would have to pay the price!

**BOOM!**

The sky was filled with a blinding display of thunderbolts. At certain points, cracks seemed to form in the massive thunder barrier, evidence that the sheer amount of lightning was overloading its capacity to absorb. **CRACK!**

A massive pillar of thunder struck the ground, not shattering the stone slabs beneath it but causing them to disappear entirely. What remained was a gigantic crater, revealing charred earth beneath. And there were countless such thunder pillars crashing down.

This devastating attack was the same one that, in the past, wiped out half of Big Mom's Anger Legion with a single strike. Now, enhanced by his awakened powers, Rowen unleashed its terrifying might once again.

"Everyone, fall back to the shelter!" Dante shouted. He knew that Rowen was in a foul mood right now. A monster of his level, when truly enraged, could obliterate G-10 if he wanted. Luckily, Dante was sure Rowen wouldn't go that far, so as long as they stayed in the shelter, they would be safe.

Or at least he hoped so.

**Entei - Flame Emperor: Great Flame Commandment!**

Ace raised his hand, and a torrent of flames erupted around him, forming a massive ball of fire as large as a battleship, radiating intense heat like the sun. In response to Rowen's **Zenith Tempest: Prison of Bright Heavenly Thunder**, Ace unleashed his strongest attack, compressing the flames until they glowed white-hot.

He then shot it skyward, aiming to meet one of the thunder pillars head-on.

**Boom!**

The collision of lightning and fire exploded in the sky, sending out a shockwave. The blast hit the thunder barrier, causing it to tremble slightly. Ordinary flames wouldn't have achieved this, but Ace's awakened powers interfered with the lightning, resulting in an explosive reaction.

"I see. Looks like I forgot that Ace has already entered the awakened state," Rowen mused. "But..."

Rowen carefully felt the rhythm of Ace's flames and smirked. "It seems you're not quite in control of your own power, Ace."

The fiery energy reminded Rowen of his own thunder when he first awakened back on Cake Island. Both lightning and fire are destructive forces, and when awakened, they yearn to destroy everything in their path. The sudden surge in power often leads to a loss of control, a difficult challenge for the user to overcome.

To keep from being consumed by the overwhelming power, Rowen had chosen to unleash it against Big Mom back then. Ace, on the other hand, had likely intended to fight Blackbeard to gain control of his fire.

But without finding Blackbeard, Ace had come to G-10, and the uncontrolled flames still burned within him. Just like Rowen in the past, Ace was barely keeping his rationality intact, but his instincts were dominating.

"Since that's the case..." Rowen's gaze shifted, locking onto Luffy.

**Shua!**

Though all of this seemed to take a long time, it happened in an instant. Before the aftershocks of the collision between fire and lightning could fade, Rowen appeared in front of Luffy.

"Such speed!" Luffy thought, astonished by how fast Rowen moved.

**Zzzzz!**

With his thunder halberd still embedded in Kuma, Rowen raised his hand. A thin energy blade of lightning formed around his arm, then rapidly expanded. It was the **Thunder Ship-Chopping Blade**.

The critical factor wasn't the lightning itself but the coating of Haki on the blade, which would allow it to harm Luffy despite his Gum-Gum Fruit abilities.

Close combat infused with Haki came naturally to Rowen, even when the weapon was made of intangible lightning.

As the blade of lightning neared, death loomed over Luffy. His keen instincts kicked in, and he raised his arms to block the attack. But with less than a year of experience at sea and without mastery of Haki, there was no way he could stop this blow. If Rowen's strike landed, Luffy would die on the spot.

It's better to break one finger than injure all ten. Moreover, focusing on Luffy has more advantages beyond that.

Pirates, don't blame me for being ruthless.

"Get down!"

At that moment, a furious shout echoed from a distance.

Luffy had just begun to raise his arm when, on instinct, he immediately ducked low, just as he had done many years ago when he and his two brothers faced pirates and hunted beasts for food. Luffy trusted his older brothers completely.

And his brothers didn't let him down.

Even though ducking couldn't completely avoid the massive blade of the **Thunder Ship-chopping Blade**, just as the blade was about to strike Luffy, a steel pipe flew through the air and collided with the blade.

**Clang!**

The thin blade of energy sparked on impact, sending out a harsh screech of metal on metal.

A figure leaped upward, hands raised before their chest, fingers poised like claws.

**Dragon Claw Fist: Smash!**

Taking advantage of the moment brought by the steel pipe's strike, Sabo let out a furious cry as he dove down, like a soaring dragon descending from the sky, aiming his clawed hand at Rowen.

**Ting! Clang!**

The first sound was the light blade shattering into fragments, and the second was Rowen, who had wrapped his arm in **Busoshoku Haki** (Armament Haki), punching Sabo's pitch-black fingers with a resounding clash.

Although Rowen wasn't a master of Busoshoku Haki, it didn't mean his Haki was weak.

Excluding people like Garp, who could take down entire seas with just their fists, Rowen's Busoshoku Haki was just shy of the world's top tier.

"Huh!"

Sabo grunted in pain, feeling as though his fingers had crashed into Seastone. His bones ached as though they were about to crack.

"Heh, so these are the claws trained to smash tyranny? Sounds impressive, but…"

Rowen sneered, and in a swift motion, he flickered like a ghost, appearing right in front of Sabo, giving him no chance to escape.

He then released his fist, intertwining his fingers with Sabo's.

In that instant, Sabo felt a cold chill deep in his soul, sending shivers down his spine.

Rowen might be wary of Dragon's **Dragon Claw Fist**, but Sabo's? Not so much.

With a firm grip and a sharp twist, Rowen slammed Sabo to the ground. However, Sabo's arm remained held in the air, twisted at an unnatural angle, far beyond what a human body should be capable of.

"Ahhhh!!!"

The pain from the dislocation was only part of it. The true agony came from the blue lightning that flickered over Rowen's body. At such close range, with no **Busoshoku Haki** to defend him, Sabo could feel his fingers approaching their breaking point.

They were slowly being eroded by the sheer power of the lightning!

Despite the pain, instead of trying to break free, Sabo turned his head and shouted, "Run, Luffy!!"

At the same time, he twisted his body, rolling on the ground, crossing his legs to lock Rowen's thigh, pinning him in place.

No matter what, Luffy had to escape.

Otherwise, any sacrifice would be in vain.
