A deafening silence followed Robin's words.

"It's… Imu."

The man in black robes stood at the edge of the floating abyss, his red eye glowing eerily beneath his hood. The darkness behind him shifted, moving like a living entity, pulsing with an unnatural energy.

Luffy clenched his fists. "Oi… what's that supposed to mean?"

Gandalf stepped forward, his expression dark. "Imu… is not meant to be here. This goes beyond anything we have encountered before."

Zoro's grip on his swords tightened. "You mean he's not just some random guy?"

Gandalf nodded. "He is far worse."

A Face from the Shadows

The figure stepped closer, his voice calm and unnerving.

"So, you finally found me."

Robin's heart pounded. This wasn't right. Imu was the shadow behind the World Government, the ruler of the Void Century's secrets. But why… was he here, in the remains of Middle-earth?

Legolas nocked an arrow, his keen elven eyes narrowing. "You wear the face of an enemy."

Imu tilted his head. "An enemy?" He chuckled softly. "No, young elf. I am simply… inevitable."

Luffy cracked his knuckles. "I don't care who you are." His expression turned deadly serious. "Where's Sanji?"

Imu didn't answer.

Instead, he raised a hand.

And from the void behind him, Sanji emerged.

Sanji's Return – But Not as They Knew Him

Sanji stood there, motionless, his usual smirk absent. His eyes were distant, almost lifeless. His body was covered in a faint black mist, his skin slightly paler than before.

Nami gasped. "Sanji! What happened?!"

Zoro took a step forward but froze. Something felt wrong.

Sanji slowly lifted his head, his voice eerily monotone.

"Intruders… must be eliminated."

Luffy's eyes widened. "Hah?"

In an instant, Sanji disappeared.

A heartbeat later—

BOOM!

Luffy barely dodged as Sanji's flaming leg came crashing down, splitting the rock beneath him in half.

Zoro's swords were out in a flash. "Tch. I don't know what's going on, but you better snap out of it, cook."

Sanji didn't respond. He simply attacked again.

Luffy blocked with his arm, but the force behind the kick was monstrous.

"Sanji, stop!" Nami yelled.

But Sanji didn't stop.

He wasn't himself anymore.

The Power of the Void

Imu watched the chaos unfold with a satisfied smirk.

Robin's mind raced. No… this isn't just mind control. This is something else.

She turned to Gandalf. "Is this the Nameless One's doing?"

The wizard shook his head. "No. This is far worse."

Legolas loosed an arrow at Imu, but before it could hit, the shadow behind him swallowed it whole.

The elf's eyes narrowed. "This magic… it's unnatural."

Imu chuckled. "You are all so focused on your battles, yet none of you ask the right question."

Zoro dodged another strike from Sanji. "And what's that supposed to mean?"

Imu spread his arms.

"Why do you think I am here?"

For a moment, no one answered.

Then Robin's voice cut through the air.

"You… you weren't always here."

Imu smiled. "Clever girl."

Robin took a deep breath. "You… came from the Void Century. But you weren't just a ruler, were you?"

Imu's smirk widened. "Indeed. I was something far greater."

And as he spoke—

The void trembled.

And suddenly, Luffy, Zoro, and everyone else saw it—

A flash of the past.

A Glimpse into the Lost Era

The vision hit them like a tidal wave.

A kingdom long before the Void Century. A war against an enemy that shouldn't have existed.

A man standing at the heart of it. Imu.

Not as a shadowy ruler—

But as a knight.

A warrior who had fought against something monstrous.

And then—

The image shifted.

Imu falling.

Imu embraced by the void.

Imu becoming something else.

And just like that—

The vision shattered.

The Battle Resumes

Luffy staggered back, his breathing heavy. "What… was that?"

Robin's fists clenched. "You weren't always like this… You became part of the void, didn't you?"

Imu sighed. "Ah, knowledge. A dangerous thing, indeed."

Luffy wiped his mouth. "Doesn't change a thing. I'll still kick your ass."

Imu grinned. "Then let's see if you can survive your own crewmate."

With a flick of his wrist, the darkness around Sanji thickened.

And then—

Sanji's body erupted in black flames.

"Infernal Ifrit Jambe."

Luffy's eyes widened. "Oh, crap."
