The Straw Hats ventured deeper into the forest, where the trees stood taller than giants, their ancient roots twisting like veins through the earth. The air was thick with the scent of moss and damp wood, and soft beams of light filtered through the emerald canopy above.
Despite the serene beauty, a strange weight pressed on their chests, like an unseen presence was watching them.
Usopp shivered. "I don't like this. It's too quiet. No animals, no wind… It's like the forest itself is holding its breath."
Robin placed a hand on the bark of a nearby tree, her fingers tracing its grooves. "This place has endured countless centuries… It has seen things we can't even begin to imagine."
Chopper's ears twitched. "But if there are elves here, why haven't we seen any?"
Gandalf, walking ahead, chuckled. "Because, dear Chopper, they choose when to be seen."
Luffy tilted his head. "So they're like ninjas?"
Gandalf's eyes twinkled. "In a way, yes."
Zoro scoffed. "Tch. If they want to fight, I'm ready."
Sanji exhaled smoke. "You and your fight addiction… We don't even know if they're enemies yet."
Suddenly—
A soft note echoed through the trees.
A single, delicate melody—like a whisper carried by the wind.
The crew froze.
The song was hauntingly beautiful, filled with sadness yet laced with an unshakable strength.
Then, from the shadows of the trees—they emerged.
Tall, graceful figures with flowing robes and piercing eyes, stepping silently onto the path. Their presence was otherworldly, their movements like liquid light.
Elves.
Usopp's jaw dropped. "Oh crap, they ARE real!"
One elf, taller than the rest, with silver hair that shimmered like moonlight, stepped forward. His piercing blue eyes locked onto Luffy.
"You walk with the light of an ancient power," he said, his voice smooth yet filled with an undeniable authority.
Luffy blinked. "Huh?"
The elf turned to Gandalf. "Mithrandir. You bring strange travellers."
Gandalf smiled. "That I do, my old friend."
Robin's eyes widened. "Legolas."
Sanji smirked. "So, this is the legendary elf prince, huh?"
Legolas studied them for a long moment. "You carry burdens of the past. The echoes of a war that has not yet ended."
His gaze fell upon the Ring in Buggy's trembling hands.
"This… should not be here."
Buggy swallowed hard. "T-Tell me about it!"
Legolas's expression darkened. "If the Ring has returned, then the darkness is not far behind."
Luffy grinned. "Then we just gotta stop it, right?"
Legolas gave him a long look, then smirked. "You remind me of someone."
Luffy tilted his head. "Do I know him?"
Legolas chuckled. "Perhaps you will."
The elves stepped aside, revealing a hidden path deeper into the forest.
Legolas gestured forward.
"Come. There is much you must learn."
As the Straw Hats followed, they knew—
They were about to uncover truths lost to time.
