Dragon, Kuzan and Saul vs Charlotte Linlin and Shiki

Dragon never understood the true motive of his so-called grand aunt. When they first met, she gave the impression of a troublesome person. But later after a lot of torture, she finally gave them the necessary funding to kick start their organisation, the revolutionary army.

After they built a strong network of information they tried to find her. But they never succeeded. Then she recommended meeting a group of archaeologists. During their time of torture, they understood the importance of history in order to defeat the word government. So they agreed to meet them. After meeting with Jaguar D Saul, they understood why their interests would align with each other.

But after seeing what is happening right now, Dragon had to question Maki's motive again.

She had the road poneglyphs from the very beginning.

So why create such chaos ?

The ancient hag who doesn't age can read the poneglyphs. At least that's what Saul said to them.

Then it doesn't make any sense that she herself is not going after the last Island and rule the world itself.

In this case there are only two scenarios.

First, there must be a catch after reaching the last Island. It is said that no one has ever reached the last Island in the grand line since 800 years ago.

And if knowing the history would allow someone to rule the entire world then it must be something very powerful. Something else other than simple history.

Second, she has ulterior motives for bringing it there.

'In the current situation, this is the most appropriate scenario. Otherwise why would she risk handing over the poneglyph to the world government ?'

Dragon thought as he dashed towards the poneglyph along with Kuzan and Saul.

First the spider bull monster tried to kill them by firing his poison balls.

But Maki kicked his head away at the right moment and the dangerous poison ball missed.

But getting the poneglyphs was not that easy.

Before they could reach the giant stone, Dragon saw an incoming attack and dodged.

Just a moment later, a giant sword hit the place where he was a moment ago.

"Prometheus !" A feminine voice shouted.

"Ice pheasant !" Kuzan attacked as well.

A giant sun with a comical face appeared in front of them. But before it could spit fire, Kuzan's attack froze it instantly.

"*Boom*"

Dragon and Charlotte Linlin clashed as Linlin tried to over power Dragon.

While Dragon was physically weaker than Linlin, his superior Haki allowed him to match Linlin.

On the other hand, after freezing Prometheus, Kuzan and Saul went forward.

But suddenly, a giant ship descended on them.

"Elephant punch !"

But before the ship could crash on to them, Saul obliterated it with a single punch.

"Lion slash !"

"Hakoku !"

Shiki and Linlin launched their attacks.

"Sub zero !"

"Death harleding wind !"

Dragon and Kuzan did the same.

Shiki's flying slash was neutralized by Kuzan's Sub zero.

On the other hand, Linlin's and Dragon's attack tried to overpower each other.

At the end, Dragon won and his powerful wind threw away Linlin.

Linlin landed beside Shiki as Dragon reached Kuzan and Saul.

They were facing each other. And on one side, the poneglyph was waiting for them.

"Mamamama ! You brats are not that bad ! As expected of Garp's pupils."

"Jihahahaha ! This will be a great fight !"

Both the pirates laughed heartily.

On the other hand everyone stayed silent. Their opponents were not easy to deal with.

"Should we switch opponents ? My ice can't reach the flying bastard in the sky. Your wind should be better to deal with him." Kuzan suggested.

"Yes. But be careful. The woman has a crazy amount of physical strength." Dragon warned.

The next moment, both parties moved. This time Dragon faced Shiki while the other two faced Linlin.

"*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*"

Linlin greeted her teeth. The ice brat was annoying and the giant is also very strong. None of them could coat their attacks with the color of supreme king as they didn't possess it.

But both of them have been personally trained by Maki. So their color of armament was very strong. On top of that, Jaguar was not that inferior to Linlin in terms of physical strength.

So their teamwork was actually pushing back Linlin.

On the other hand, it was a similar situation with Shiki. With the insanely strong wind, Dragon was dominating the fight with ease.

Shiki's float float devil fruit has lost it's edge in front of Dragon's wind powers. Dragon could create massive tornadoes and use his floating ability against him.

While Shiki has greater fighting experience, in front of the strong haki of Monkey D Dragon, he was slowly losing the fight.

While everything was going on good for the revolutionary and archaeologist alliance, suddenly a painful cry of Charlotte Linlin drew everyone's attention.

Saul, who was trying to subdue her was sent flying with a serious conqueror's haki coated punch.

"Caaaaaaakeeeee !" A roar more intense than before tore through the battlefield as Linlin went into hunger pang

"What the !" Kuzan was really shocked after seeing Linlin in such a state.

Her haki exploded with more intensity. It was more powerful than before.

Immediately Dragon and Shiki turned towards Linlin.

"The fuck ! That bitch ! Does she have to go to her crazy glutton phase right now ?" Shiki cursed loudly. In this state, Linlin loses her sanity and attacks everyone in her sight, trying to eat them.

Even Xebec struggles with Linlin when she is her hunger pang. In this state, for a short period of time, Linlin's strength and haki reaches a whole other level.

She will not be able to distinguish between ally and enemy.

So Shiki decided to leave the fight.

Kuzan's eyes widened as Linlin appeared in front of him in an instant. Her speed had increased drastically.

'shit !' Kuzan thought as he tried to defend himself.

But thankfully before the haki coated fist of a crazy Linlin met Kuzan, Dragon's wind threw him away out of harm's way.

"Caaaaaaakeeeee !" With another roar, Linlin turned towards Dragon. Her haki crackled with raw power.

"Fuck !" Dragon didn't hesitate to curse out loud.
